Ordered this to go. Absolutely loved their Massaman curry with chicken. Ordered their kids chicken pad Thai which was kind of basic but not terrible. I will definitely be eating here again. Their Massaman curry had a nice spice and great amount of veggies and chicken.

Had a Thom Yum or Kha last year that was sooo good, but I could not remember where I got it from. I've been searching for it for quite a while and I finally found it!!! We ordered the Thom Yum Po-Tak with shrimp, Pad Thai with chicken, Spring Rolls with pork, and veggie Egg Rolls. The Spring Rolls are HUGE and have a yummy peanut sweet & sour sauce. The Egg Rolls were so addictive with their slightly spicy sauce, I should've placed a double order! The Pad Thai was tasty, but the Thom Yum Po-Tak is where it's at!!! It's so herbaceous and lemony I swear it could heal any illness! Lemongrass & basil in a tangy spicy broth, just soul warming! I think many people tend to do takeout from this place but there was a little slip with our order that said they've reopened for dine-in! Hole in the wall off Central!

I order take out from this place quite often, but have never actually been to their establishment. My order has always been correct and everything is nicely packed when it arrives. My favorite orders are their pad see ew, pad thai, and mango sticky rice. They're all solid dishes and make for great left overs. I recommend giving them a try if you're craving delicious noodle dishes!

This has become our favorite local Thai spot. My husband has been going here for years and have gotten to know the owners and workers, who are really nice. The food is just so consistently great, with really good portions. Though the restaurant has closed down their indoor dining since covid, they have recently opened for dining in as an option. Our favorite to get there are their curries and sub white rice with sticky rice. The flavor is always so good without fail. Street parking can be difficult on Central but there is a hidden parking lot in the alley.

    Bugs and flies

Bugs in my food and Horrible customer service from The waiter Joshua trying to charge full meal price for extra sauce when it clearly says $1.50 on the website and have had no issues paying a little more for a half size in the past, says "we're not in the business of selling sauce " Guy is rude and needs to learn hospitality and customer service. Not to mention read your companies menu . I normally spend a few hundred dollars here every few weeks . They have lost my business . Check your food for bugs!

We will continue to visit the restaurant, but I want to make it known to others about all my experiences. Pros: - Several. We have always felt the hospitality is superb. Cons: - Mentioned in the above description.

Even the dishes on which the food is served are thematic and beautiful. The menu has a lot of unique items and everything we had was delicious and fresh. I really enjoyed my Vietnamese crepe. I keep wanting to love this place, and there are things that I still enjoy - specifically, the vibe, the friendly staff, and the potential of the menu. Unfortunately, the quality of the actual food just keeps declining. Last night, we arrived right at 4pm to take advantage of the HH menu. We ordered the Popcorn Chicken and Wonton Nachos of the HH menu, and the Crispy Rice Salad (Nam Khau), Vietnamese Crepe (Banh Xeo), Chicken Laab Lettuce Wraps, Shrimp & Perilla Rolls and the Balinese Chicken Thai off the regular menu. Generally, I love the idea of all these items. Unfortunately, all of the food tasted old and heavy. All of the fried items tasted like they were fried in old oil, making the dishes greasy. The herbs that came with the crepe were wilted like they were sitting out. And, nothing tasted made to order and came out luke warm. Nothing tasted fresh. I left feeling heavy with a brick in my stomach.

The volume in the restaurant is quite loud, so the patio may be better if you don't want to speak up at the table. Service is on the slower side but the food is worth the wait. -- The Sakoo small plate was an incredible dish! The texture contrast between the filling, chewy exterior, and lettuce shell was fantastic. It was so flavorful and has a bit of a spice kick to it. -- The Mango Fish entree was packed with flavor, and is a very umami-forward dish. The piece of crispy salmon skin on the side is perfectly crunchy and salty. It's a filet of salmon (not a whole fish) and the salmon is nice and buttery. -- The Duck Fried Rice entree had good flavor but the duck meat was dry. It did not come with the duck leg or crispy skin, and instead had chunks of duck meat throughout the dish. This dish has a bit of a spice kick to it. -- The Pistachio Orange Blossom Cake dessert was SO GOOD. I'm not a huge dessert person and I ate every bite of this. The presentation on my cocktail (a tonic with vodka and buddha hand fruit) was very pretty. Service was thoughtful and quick. The restaurant itself was beautiful and open and airy -- I almost felt like I wasn't in Minneapolis anymore. We went on a Tuesday, and only drawback I'd say is that the noise level can be a little bit loud due to the acoustics and how the room is one giant space. The flavors here are wildly different. I've been here before with friends and they've ordered the curry, but the curry looked too watery and that kind of should've told me that it wasn't going to be a hit of a Thai place for me. I like closer to a thicker sauce for coconut curry. Usually the Thai places that have more watery coconut curry sauces just hits a little lower & it def shows. Amazing Thai has this same issue lol. Now, this place too... I feel lost without a fav Thai place in Minne lol. The string beans were crunchy in the papaya salad which was great but the entire sauce tasted like MSG & lacks the Lao shrimp paste flavor although it was more grey since I did order the Lao style but not enough shrimp paste flavor as it should have. Either this place has different cooks etc., it is not the same as a year ago or more.
