Extremely Disappointed with Khouri's Cleaning of my Oriental rug!! I took my oriental carpet to Khouri's in Mashpee, MA to have a small 8" x 1'.5" end section of my 6'.2" x 7'.3" carpet treated for a cat urine stain and to remove the smell from the small area ONLY. This took 4 weeks and cost $252. When I received my carpet back, all of the colors had bled and the entire carpet smelled as if it had been chemically cleaned. The fact that I trusted Khouri's to take care of my carpet disgusts me tremendously! This carpet was one of a kind and cannot be replaced, sentimental value and the work of how it was acquired has been overshadowed by the ruination of a treasured item! Khouri's claims to use a cold water cleaning solutions to prevent bleeding of colors. They ruined the entire carpet with all the reds bled completely through the cream color from front to back when they only needed to work on a SMALL Area, NOT the entire carpet! I will never use them again and recommend going somewhere else if you require a select cleaning for an oriental carpet. read more

Khouri's Oriental Rug Company is top notch in service! Please consider this company for your carpet cleaning and carpet repairs. The staff are courteous, professional, and prompt, once an appointment is agreed upon. I felt completely comfortable handing over my keys to the staff to perform my service in an empty home while I was at work in with customers in my busy time of year. When I arrived home from work later that night everything was put back the way I left it in the morning and items were positioned on sliders to prevent my carpets from sinking in. Caution mats were placed next to tile floors to advise me of slippery surfaces too. Now that's paying attention to detail and thinking about their customer 1st. I have referred a number of customers to Khouri's over the years and all have been pleased. Prices are fair and the staff work hard to satisfy the customer. I've heard so many good things over the years I decided to give them a try. From a business owner myself, The customer service was A+. It was free pick up and delivery, we didn't have to do anything. My father is older so he asked if they could help out and set up his bed frame before they put my rug back down. They happily did it for us. Those small things make the difference. These guys are great. I called Khouri's for help on a large oriental rug that had a lot of pet stains, and they got it looking almost like new. They were not cheap, but they were worth it, and I had the sense they were going the extra mile at every step. They picked the rug up, kept it for several weeks for cleaning (pricey), then did spot dying (totally reasonable). They were extremely professional to deal with and I had the sense I was always talking to one of the owners or managers. In the end I feel like I got a new rug for a fraction of the actual value. Unprofessional. Poor service and abysmal job on my carpets. It took three months to get back my 4 carpets two of which were to be cleaned and have minor repairs (reinforcing binding). First none of the carpets looked like anything had been done to them. They were all in very good condition but we were having them cleaned since we had months of construction and our house was so dusty. Half of one carpet is covered in dirty brownish stains. The other has stains and was not repaired. A third carpet I wanted shortened wit its tassels re-attached: they never informed me what they were going to do after weeks and weeks and weeks waiting on them. I called a few times and was told they were deciding how to do the job: finally I called and they said it was ready and delivered it done contrary to what I was told. When I said I was unhappy I was told we will take care of everything. When my husband called Marion to say he was concerned that they would have our two carpets for some unspecified amount of time and we were concerned since they weren't done right the first time, she starting screaming at him and said they would never step back in our house. She said what do you want and he said a refund since you didnt do the job we paid you to do. She said she would get back to him. We have never heard back from Khouris. I have filed with the BBB and Khouris hasnt replied to them either. This company is a fraud in my opinion. read more
