I visited this location because I had a few boxes of clothes my daughter no longer needed and decided to resale it. When I first walked in I was greeted and quickly helped by several nice associates. The store was nicely clean and organized. It didn't take long for them to go through the clothes I brought in. They brought a couple items which I appreciate because my drive to the location would've been worthless especially packing and loading the items in my car. As I was ready to leave, I decided to walk around the store to see if I wanted to grab anything for my daughter. However, I noticed that many clothes that had "cotton balls" on many clothes where overpriced. I was a bit upset because as i walked in I automatically loved the store but majority of the clothes were over priced for resale items. read more

I'm happy with a couple purchases for gear that I was specifically looking for.... Glad I stopped in! Some of their clothes are over priced for what I would pay for used items but I have grabbed basics like Onesies & pj's occasionally. Also, their "new" items are the same or MORE than retail. I will say that I've tried a few times to sell stuff, that was practically new might I add, and didn't end up doing it because of the low ball offer. I'll start by saying that I actually live much closer to the Gilbert location on higely but I make the drive to this location because it is 100x better. Every couple months I bring in my daughters clothes and toys she's outgrown and shop around while I wait. They always give me an estimated time and if they take even 5-10 minutes over that time they typically offer a 10% discount off anything I'm purchasing. The staff at this location is much friendlier than the other location as well. I'm not one of those people that try to nickel and dime every single item I'm selling and they always tell me why they don't take specific items. I typically get cash which is usually slightly less than store credit but from my experience the toddler girls clothes racks are usually pretty scarce so I never find much, but sometimes you can find great things still with tags! Overall this store is great and very clean/organized compared to the others. I would def. Recommend unless you're the type that's going to get offended when they don't want every single item you're trying to sell for what they are brand new! read more

Checked this place out for the first time. It had a very unsanitary feeling. The boxed in area where you can put your children seemed like a hazard; broken sharp toys from a play kitchen, ripped up paper/puzzles. The store appeared unorganized; boys,girls, sizes in different areas, the toys they were selling appeared cheap and very used. So did the shoes area. I drove 25 miles to this store. Definitely a disappointment, however at least I know I won't be going there again. Once Upon A Child is a wonderful place. Organized; big selection of items; clothes, toys, shoes, accessories, strollers, bedding, cribs, high-chairs... You name it. I'll stick with them :) read more

No one greeted me as I came in. I arrived a little early and they were late to open doors. They unlocked the doors and just walked away- no hello or even opening the door for us. No one asked if I needed help. Everyone just stared at me. I cannot believe how rude the workers are here. I will probably avoid this location due to rude staff. It doesn't take much energy to look up and greet customers or be friendly. Hope it keeps people from experiencing such rude customer service. Seems that other reviewers experienced the same customer service as long as 11 months ago and nothing has changed. read more

Like the store for the affordable prices and generally good selection. The checkout process is horrendous though. Takes waaaaaay to long. Today there were 3 people in line in front of me and it took over 10 minutes to check out. Having a young child with me that can't stay in one place makes it very difficult. Plus the store is arranged in such a way that if a kid gets loose they can run out the front door and you may not see them. I've left the store before without buying anything because I couldn't stand in the line long enough to check out. read more

I came in for the dollar day sale and was very happy with my purchases. I highly recommend coming here when they have these deals. Worst experience selling kids items ever!! I bought my daughter a whole crib bedding set complete with a lamp and mobile from Babies R Us totaling over $250. Everything was in original packaging as my daughter NEVER used any of it. She has been cosleeping since birth and will NEVER use these items. I took these items in here to see if they would buy them. One of the ladies pulls the sheet out of the packaging and "inspects" it. She folds it back up (barely) and says "I'm sorry we will have to pass. The condition is bad and there is slight yellow staining." Mind you THIS HAS NEVER BEEN USED! Everything including lamp and mobile are in original UNOPENED condition. What a joke this place is. I'll stick to OfferUp or Craigslist to sell kids items. Side note: I glanced around and noticed half the clothes they have displayed are stained and/or dingy. Save your money and time. read more

I want in during their semi annual sale to browse and to sell. I thought it would be a hassle but everything was just as organized as any other day. Someone greeted me right when I walked in, and their selection is too notch. From sparkly kids boots to small additions for bigger toys. Bonus: the kids closed off area where I can leave my preschooler while I browse nearby without having to worry about her walking out. Will continue to come back to this location. read more

I have gone to kid to kid since it opened. I originally loved it the staff was friendly and I could find nice things at a good price. Recently something changed. Most of the items I look for are dirty and damaged. Once I went in to get a toddler bed it had a price tag of $44. I liked it and asked to buy it the girl at the register ripped the tag off while I shopped around when I came to the front the tag in her hand said $65. The original one truly said $44. They said it was a mistake and the price is now $65. I can buy a toddler bed brand new for $65. Recently I went in and bought a couple they have no customer service skills. They are rude and not friendly. I don't know what happened they used to be nice friendly organized. I don't think I'll go back. . read more

This place is a waste of time. If you are looking to sell your barely used kid items take them elsewhere. I took in some really nice toys and they wouldn't buy the majority because "pieces" were missing. Nope. Nothing was missing they wanted the whole set of figures that you buy separately. Three different women started arguing with me which was completely out of line. They wanted to give me $6 for something that they were probably going to sell for at least $20. The family ahead of me had a brand new excersaucer and kid to kid wanted to give them $15 dollars!!! This is highway robbery! Needless to say the family took there item and left. I told the women to give my toys to charity so at least some child can find joy and their parents not be robbed blind. I will never be going there again. read more

I love going to k2k, my experience there never fails! I went in one morning and Lynn helped me pick out some outfits for my daughter and just kept a great smile and attitude throughout the whole sale. She even helped me out with enrolling on receiving texted messages (which is pretty awesome) *now I know when the big sales hit! I went in tonight looking for a coat for my daughter this evening and Leslie helped me with my transaction, she was a great help as well. Very welcoming and got me all taken care of. This is really a great shop. What you find is hit or miss- as is true with most consignment stores. BUT I have been able to find a few things every time I enter. babyGap jeans and plenty of other good labels (Janie and Jack, The Children's Place). this is a great neighborhood resale store. it's close by and very convenient. i've been rather lucky with the maternity wear. i got a gap skirt for $9 and it's lasted through my pregnancy! a friend of mine found adorable spring dresses for her little one that were practically new for really great prices. i agree that their new merchandise isn't really anything to write home about, but this isn't what the store's about. when i go in, i'm ready to raid the racks of clothing for rare finds at good prices. read more

I love this place! I can find stylish jeans for my daughter for $6! Shirts are usually around $4. I love how organized the selection is. Also, if you have kids in dance, they have a wonderful selection of used dance wear. My daughter seems to outgrow her clothes every 6 months - the offerings at this store are priced right! I would give it 5 stars, but the selection isn't 100% great. You look thru stuff and think "that's junk" sometimes - at Love Child Resale, the review is more like do I want item A or B more? Well organized store however I have been to 2 in town and they are obviously a franchise. They both look the same with the same new merchandise. The staff was nice but not very interested in helping me with a stroller that I was trying to buy. I got so overwhelmed I decided not to buy it. The store has average merchandise..gap gymboree etc but no high end kids brands could be found. Overall it is an average resale store with average merchandise. read more

I am shocked by the lack of customer service, and dismayed by the indifference to customer satisfaction. The conduct and policies of the Ahwatukee Kid To Kid management are shameful. The good - I purchased a large quantity of items during the Memorial Day sale. I hauled my arm-load of items to the counter and paid for them. My bad - When I delivered this giant bag of goodies to my grandchildren, my daughter exclaimed, "we don't own a VHS player". I looked at her perplexed and then realized the Baby Einstein Series was VHS. It never occurred to me to verify the format, and that Kid To Kid would sell something as antiquated as VHS! I don't know anyone who owns a VHS player. The packaging was not obvious either. And the unfortunate ugly - in my attempt to exchange the VHS set for DVDs, I was told that particular sale item (nothing else I bought) was final and I could not return it. And didn't the salesperson tell me so when I purchased it? To which I replied, she had not. I reminded the sales teenager that I would be satisfied with an exchange, not a return. Presumably she consulted with her manager who remained hiding in the back of the store. She then returned and pointed to a tiny, barely legible sticker on the bottom of the unopened package and said "final sale", And then she said no returns or exchanges. the people here are always so nice & helpful. I always find what im looking for & then some! love this store! They keep it stocked for sure! Because sometimes its so stocked it can get a little crowded in there but it isnt a huge location so thats understanding. But overall i love this store & the items they put out are good brands & very lightly used items & ive even boughten items brand new with the original tag on them, & i buy it for less than half that price! so needless to say the prices are very reasonable!!! read more

I discovered this store about 2 years ago when I was expecting & was amazed by how much nicer & better quality their merchandise is than other resale childrens clothing stores! Like other resale stores, it really is hit-or-miss and you need to set aside a decent amount of time to sift through the racks but I've made off with some amazing deals on nearly brand new items for the kids!! Vans shoes for $6! Baby Gap velour jumpsuit for $10! Guess zip-up hoodie for $5! I make it a point to go at least twice a month to check out what's new and will never have to buy 'new' clothes for the kids again! =) read more

I was highly impressed. The store was well planned out and had a very nice selection of clothes. We were specifically looking for girls size 8 shorts. My daughter found 10 pairs she liked to try on. We bought 5 of them, I believe. My older daughter found a skirt with shorts underneath (had a matching neck tie). I bought my son a reusable chore chart. With the discounts I was offered the bill was around $15! I liked this place better then Love Child. read more

I really like this place because it has tons of books and toys. I think they have many different furniture for babies such as high chairs, pack and plays, and bassinets. They also have quite a few strollers. Everyone there is pretty nice but they are really selective about what they buy back. And when they do buy back you get a fourth of the value. Just an heads up. It still better than baby r us. read more
