The day of my wedding, she had extremely poor planning and time management, and decided it was smart to start me, the bride, last. That resulted in me literally being late, with her rushing to finish. The end result was a mess, it was awful. When I texted her photos afterwards politely expressing my disappointment (with trial and wedding photos attached), she did not offer to refund me but instead offered to redo my hair and makeup again for wedding photo retakes - strange, as how I clearly could not retake photos from that day and had no plans to pay tons of money for another post-wedding photo shoot?? The makeup made me feel like a Hollywood starlet. I posted a pic and video of the makeup freshly done. And I also posted two pics of this makeup after wearing it out for over six hours, through eating and drinking. It still looks gorgeous! I also bought Maggies's one-on-one makeup lesson. She taught me how to create this look on myself and broke the lesson down into well organized, very easy to understand segments. She educated me on tools, products, application techniques, and skin prep for makeup ... all tailored to my unique facial features and skin type! So I feel confident in my ability to do this makeup on myself at home and have it look great on me. I was preparing to tell her how I wanted to change the trial makeup to something more pink, but that morning, Jessie brought up the idea of changes to me first! She suggested a pink look would look better and I was impressed because I felt the same way. I appreciated that Jessie spoke out about what she thought would look better on me; I felt like she had my back! In total, we had 11 people who needed both hair and makeup. I was worried that it would take a very long time, but Jessie and her two assistants run like a well-oiled machine! Started at 8am, done by 1230pm! All my girls looked beautiful!! The makeup lasted all day! Jessie even gave me a little pouch of materials for touch up, but I didn't need it! My hair also stayed in place all night long! She even taught my bridesmaids how to help put on and remove my veil without messing up my hair or the flowers in it! The two I got in Long Beach were honestly the worst haircuts of my life and I had to take scissors into my own hands to fix them.
