Traveling with my two-year-old grandson I was highly concerned of receiving a reliable transportation company that could get me to our Disney resort without hesitation or cancellation. I ran across this company and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately we had planned our trip during the time hurricane Nicole decided to sweep across Florida and come up the East Coast! Because I live in Charleston our flights were canceled and this caused a disruption in our trip. It's difficult enough traveling with a two-year-old but then to be on a 10 hour delay it is extremely stressful to say the least! The driver that was assigned to me and my grandson, Was a gentleman by the name of Wael Gamely. My first interaction with him was early in the morning about 11 hours before my flight. My flight was originally supposed to leave at 8 AM and it didn't end up leaving until 6:30 PM. Throughout the day the driver assigned to me.... WAEL, contacted me by phone and through text messaging throughout the day just to stay up-to-date on my flight situation. I have never had anyone be so attentive and delightful and who assured me that he would be there no matter what time I got in. I have never ever experienced a company that had a driver of this caliber! Not only did he reassure me that he would be there but he also extended his day so that he could be there to pick us up. When we finally arrived my grandson was beyond tired and I had to wake him up in order to get him off the plane and he had a major meltdown. during this meltdown of my two-year-old grandson, the driver contacted me to let me know that he would be right there to assist me when I left baggage claim. Within just a few minutes he pulled up and took control so that I can be a total is and start my vacation. With attention to detail he secured my grandson in the car seat and asked me to assess the security of my grandson in the car seat, which was one of the highest quality elite brands. The car shined as if it just came off a new car lot and was pristine both inside and out. He loaded our luggage and was even dressed like a top notch private car driver. The experience was first class from beginning to end. I doubt I will ever take the typical rideshare companies again. Whether you have a child with you or are on business or pleasure travels this would probably classify as the best service you could ever ask for. I cannot speak for any other drivers that might work for this company, or that your experience would be the same unless you request this driver who Has set the bar so high, I think it would be difficult to get the same quality service from any other company in the future. Now I just need to figure out how to make sure he is in every city that I need Car Service in! If you were in the Orlando area or on a Disney World vacation definitely request this driver in advance, and I guarantee even if the travel to Orlando was less than perfect this will change your whole perspective and set you off on an amazing vacation or trip. He definitely changed my horrible day into a relaxing and stress-free experience. I wish I could give them more than five stars more like 25 stars! Booked through kidmoto for a ride from o'hare to my sister's house, for me, my four year old, and my two year old. Flight from SFO landed on time at 12:45 am. Driver no where to be seen. I called the driver--she said she had never heard of kidmoto, had received the booking from another service, and the other service changed the date of the booking earlier in the day, for no reason that anyone was able to explain to me. I wasn't able to get anyone from kidmoto on the phone. I'm stranded at ohare in the middle of the night with two screaming kids as I write this. Kidmoto--literally could not have done a worse job. My family and I have used this service to and from the airport, and each time the driver is punctual, courteous and helpful. I wouldn't trust any other service to transport our daughter long distances in the city. The car seats are always installed securely, and very convenient and easy to use. The vehicles are a good size, kept clean, stocked with water bottles and sometimes toys for the kiddo and we've always had a relaxing experience. One time when returning from a trip we encountered a closed route getting to our apartment and the driver spoke to the policeman and left his vehicle to the side and helped carry our luggage to our building for us because our daughter was sleeping and we needed to carry her! Talk about going above-and-beyond. Another time the driver took us a different route when we told her we had just moved to NYC over the summer, which ended up being beautiful and scenic and we were able to enjoy the sunset and also learned about the Roosevelt Island Tramway (which I can't wait to personally experience) and a few other things about Manhattan I would have never known if she didn't tell us. Ubers and Lyfts in NYC come with an option for a car seat , but they do not specify what kind and it was our experience that they carried only front - facing car seats and none of them were what we needed. Hi! I was scrambling last minute for a car service with toddler car seats to pick us up from JFK after our long flight and came across kidmoto. It was very easy and convenient to schedule a pickup and specify the number and type of car seats we wanted. An estimate was sent before agreeing to the service. I received confirmation right away via text and email. They attached the drivers name, phone number and information. When we landed, Muhammad was already at the airport and we agreed on a meeting location. He offered to meet us in the airport to guide us to the vehicle. Muhammad was very helpful in loading the suitcases while we strapped our toddlers in. The diono car seats were already installed and in excellent condition. Excellent service. Booked 48 hours in advance, was informed of driver name/car within an hour. Nigel confirmed the evening before our 6am airport ride and arrived early the next morning. The vehicle was a luxury vehicle even though we requested a standard ride. The carseat was clean, high end and safely installed. The ride was quick and uneventful and we arrived 20 minutes earlier than I had planned for. Nigel was absolutely great. This service saved our tushies (just me and my 11 month old) when we were stuck in a hotel without a ride or a carseat! WORTH IT!! Our driver Tao Wei met us at LaGuardia in a suit and was so professional. The app told us ahead of time the name of the driver, car type, license plate and driver cell # ahead of time so that eased a lot of nerves. The driver was in contact with us right after booking. Kidmoto and Tao even knew our flight was delayed 3hrs and moved our pickup time without us having to do a thing. Car seats were new and secure. My littlest even took a nap the whole drive. Navigating a another 1-2hrs of a car rental, train or bus after a long flight with little kids just isn't worth it. This was a sanity saver! read more

Terrible experience. Scam prices. We booked a car from Upper West Side to EWR. We logged in on our mobile and did the booking, no where in the process did they state the price ( we figured it would be something reasonable and it seemed like a trustworthy service...) I completed the transaction, they said they would TEXT me a confirmation. I received the text, again no price but we were in a rush and thought it would be fine. The driver shows up, the ride was fine, the carseat was fine. We reached Newark in 30 mins, we tipped the driver, everything was fine. until we got the bill. The base fare was $180. there were additional charges of $80 including the driver's tip. we had no idea that 1. this is the base fare ( if the whole trip was this amount, i'd be fine) 2. that they would have so many additional surcharges ( a $27 tip, a fee ( for what?) and a surcharge ( for what??) 3. It would cost $245 to take a very ordinary Chevy Suburban SUV with a carseat to Newark Airport. You'd have to be out of your mind to agree to pay that. It felt like a scam. You could hire a car for a day at that price. You could buy a car seat and throw it away at the airport. Anyway, i felt like there was a misunderstanding and an error in their customer purchase journey and I sent them a very polite email explaining the situation ( and the extra tip we gave the driver because nowhere did it say there would be an automatic tip) Instead of trying to understand what had happened, they tried instead to belittle and blame me as if i was simply being CHEAP. I was willing to pay 180 to take us to the airport which I hardly think is cheap, charging me nearly $250 for that task that took less than 30 mins is an Evil Scam. read more
