Her shop is decorated so so cute and is so comfortable. It wasn't like sitting in a regular beauty shop I didn't even realize the time going by like how you normally can feel sitting in the chair.... she made me feel that comfortable ...now the amazing thing was my hair! She cut 3 inches off and colored it for a very affordable price, and the finished product was outstanding! I am older, and Have a lot of experience with beauty shops, and this has been the most outstanding review I could ever do! My hair turned out the BEST color that it's ever been and the cut is absolutely beautiful! She was so easy to talk to and so eager to please. She definitely pleased me!!! She got me in quickly and her prices are so affordable it's unbelievable! If you're looking for someone to color and/or cut this would definitely be the person to go to! She pays attention to every detail, and makes sure that I like my hair before I leave her salon. It's not just about money for her. She truly enjoys her job, and she's phenomenal at it. She's the kind of hair dresser that walks you through every "change" you make to ensure that it's really what you want. For example: I look better as a blonde but I always go dark for the winter. She won't go past a certain darkness and it's not because she doesn't want to do it, it's because she knows I personally won't like it 2 weeks later. I was shocked and disappointed he didn't tell me himself that he was moving. Come to find out, Neil didn't move to Arizona. After he was (what I believe was) unfairly let go, he moved about 10 minutes south to a salon behind Kohls on Transit & Klein. Sadly, I later heard from another of his former clients they were told another (more slanderous) story about why Neil was not with the salon anymore. Another lie. If the salon owner did not value his employee, that's one thing. Just tell his clients you don't know where he went. To spread awful rumors and lies about him is unprofessional and truly awful. I'm happy to say I've found Neil again & no longer have to darken the door of a place I felt no connection to outside the one person who always greeted me warmly & always made sure I felt valued.

Walking in, you could tell a great deal of thought was put into the design and decor of the place. Julia had told me she designed and decorated the entire place herself (which even included the logo) which is quite impressive. She has a great eye for style and it shows in the welcoming, relaxing feel of her salon. The salon is also set in an old house, which makes it really cozy. Now onto the work that Julia does with her hair design. Today, I went in for cut and color. Before beginning, Julia made sure she had the exact idea of what I wanted from my visit down to every detail. She also spent a good amount of time going over my color choice for the day and making sure I was comfortable and excited about my new dye color. Julia is very knowledgeable about what colors and hair styles go well with your skin tone. She is very detailed oriented and she really wants to customers to love their hairstyle. While I was waiting for my dye to set, Julia offered me a cup of coffee or tea, whatever I wanted! This made the whole experience warm and relaxing. In the end, my new hairstyle and color was just what I wanted. I have already gotten so many complements on the color and cut! I highly suggest this salon to anyone that is looking for a breath of fresh air and a stylist with a great attention to detail and eye for style in a warm and relaxing environment!
