With no weird red bumps from threading after my first experience I was hooked and knew I found a trustworthy woman that i needed to hang onto closely! My 15 year old asked for a "full set with a French tip". She was not aware that she had to ask for the nail extensions, as she had never had to do so anywhere else. The nail tech put the base coat on. When my child realized she wasn't getting what she wanted she asked the nail tech, to which the lady told her "it's too late. You're getting this." My friend attempted to intervine several times explaining my daughters condition and that she didn't understand. The tech LAUGHED at her and refused to change the nails. The tech became argumentative to the point my child was CRYING. When my toes were finished, I came over and attempt to explain, to which the tech became argumentative and refused to fix her nails. At that point we canceled the rest of the appointment and went to a different salon to have our nails finished. It was then pointed out that she had CUT my friends daughter while doing her nails, to which the tech said "oh I cut you?" And laughed again. I told the tech that I would be writing a review about how rude and disrespectful she was to those with disabilities so people know not to bring anyone to this salon and that her laughing at hurting someone and misunderstanding is disrespectful. At that point she realized I was taking pictures of my friends child's finger and the sign on her door and asked, "what can I do?" I asked, will you fix her nails? She replied, "no. She should have told me she wanted the extension before the base coat was on." I then told her, then the only thing I NEED you to do so learn not to laugh at people who have disabilities. I need you to stop acting like you're better than other people, and I need you to learn how to do your job because they're people too. She then asked my other daughter to have a seat so she could do her nails. I stopped her and told her fuck no. That this place will never touch one of my children again, that we would be going back to the original salon we go to next to black winds that treat everyone like humans.
