If you are contemplating having your kid's party here, DO IT!! Trust a mom who has had many'a less savory party experiences in the area. We had my child's birthday party there on Friday evening, and oh my goodness, we could not have had a more positive experience. Prior to party day, I spoke with Goldi on the phone. She was so kind and warm and helpful, it felt like I was talking to an old friend. She answered every question and was amazing. The day of the party, I was greeted at the entrance with the bright shining faces of Makayla, Goldi, Lisa and Brett. From the second I walked in, they were a cohesive, unbelievably efficient team. Just as Goldi had made me feel on the phone, all four of them made me and all of my guests feel completely at home. My husband and I divided and conquered party day, so I was the solo party prepper (or so I thought!). Goldi and Lisa, like a real life Sonic and Tails, whipped up a beautiful party area for our group with personalized touches, tailored to my son's interests. They did the *work* part, ALL of the *work* part, and let me creatively direct. I let them know my son gets nervous when being sung to, center of attention, etc. and they were beautifully accommodating to that, including pushing off the Huggie parade until he was comfortable. Lisa (Huggie! :]) was patient and fun with all of the kids. Goldi was her right hand lady (literally) to keep things moving, fun and safe. We had one little girl in our party who wanted to see Huggie, but was scared to get close and crying. Goldi approached her so gently and kindly, demystifying the aspects of Huggie she was worried about, and giving the little girl space to choose. Our girl got a huge smile, ran to Huggie and HUGGED him. A child who just moments before was hiding behind her friend in fear, smiling her tears away and facing her fears. It was beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Makayla stayed at the front for the first half of the party, and I'm so happy she did because although we'd have loved her company, having her as the first person you are greeted by is a great call by KE Ballwin, because she is sunshine in human form. She kept the lines moving safely and efficiently in both directions, while chatting with and brightening the days of those entering and leaving. She and Brett took over as the primary party people once Goldi and Lisa had to leave, and Goldi physically brought us together to thank me for coming, and verbally handing us off to Makayla, so all of us were on the exact same page the whole time. Brett was also incredibly helpful and seems to be like a backstage manager. It seemed as if they were physically positioned in a way to be able to communicate and work together effortlessly, even from across that giant building! He could not have been sweeter or more helpful either, even reminding me a couple times to absolutely not lift a finger cleaning up our party. I did not have one single minute of stress from the time I reserved my party time to the time we got home with that post-successful party joy! If I ran the world, Goldi, Lisa, Makayla and Brett would get a raise! But at the very least, I feel their kind hearts, work ethics, and clear expertise deserve to be recognized.Thanks so much, guys! Wow! I was very impressed with our first visit to Kids Empire. For $20 my daughter was allowed to play all day, and come and go as much as we pleased. The adults don't have to pay, but still get to participate. Everything seemed really clean which feels rare for a play place like this. We took advantage of the $6 snack box which I felt like was a good deal considering what you get/how it would be priced separately. My daughter (3) had the time of her life and has been begging to go back ever since. The place is like a giant Discover Zone circa 1994. My kids (10 and 6) were worried when we got there that it was too baby-ish. But there is a toddler area and the giant play area. They also have a rave cave, air hockey, foosball, and some claw machines. They do have a small concession stand. The nice thing is you pay once and can leave and come back without paying a second time. So if you leave for nap or lunch, you can come back with your receipt. read more

Plenty of space to spread out. Clean and well lit. Love the ample sanitizer throughout. I came here for my grandson 6th birthday party. He really enjoyed it. Smiled the entire time we were here. Parking is plentiful and is shared on a strip mall parking lot. Upon walking in , if you did not fill out the waiver ahead of time you can't enter until you fill it out in house. EVERYONE has to fill it out regardless of if you are participating or not. That is rule one , rule 2 is no shoes allowed. You must come with socks on or buy socks from facility for a nominal fee (fyi). Open floor plan, lockers and baskets are available for storage. Plenty of tables and seating for parties or walk in . Party host was attentive, helpful and friendly. Staff were very professional. I attached party packages below . Check website for store hrs. Slides, obstacle courses, falling towers (fyi) I would not leave my child unattended for this particular one , it's dangerous and the child could get hurt if falling the wrong way, it should be age restricted in my opinion. I attached a video below. Dance room for the kids also available and a baby and toddler section as well. Restroom needed attention but not too bad. Since I was there for a party, we could only bring in a cake . The party provided Pizza Hut pizza, 2 liters coke and sprite and plates of gummy bears to keep the kids hyper. Goody bags were provided . Overall the kids loved it . I say just watch your kids and stay attentive, or bring your first aid kit and ointments for the aftermath:) read more

Awesome place to take kids to burn some energy! I have taken nieces and nephews here more than once. There are plenty of tables in the area where you can see the kids playing. What a great place. The last time we went was with my 11 year old granddaughter and I feel like she was too old to take full advantage of Kids Empire. I believe the cut-off age there is 13 (twelve year olds can still go) and that's right about where you want to be with getting you money's worth. A 6 year old here would have a blast! From the little go karts to the slides to the little obstacle course thing they have there everything is geared for the smaller kids. If you are looking at even younger than 5 or so there is also a section for toddler aged kids. I can see how things would feel very safe there, from where you sit you can practically see every inch of the play places. Bonus - They have the gate locked so you can't, kids can't, get in and out without an employee buzzing it open. That's about it, great place, inexpensive, fun, and you can sit all day and just let your kiddos play without much of a worry! read more

I've been here numerous of times. It's a good indoor playground for kids to release their energies during colder months/raining days. It's also a great place for birthday parties. The facility is well upkeep through out the years. I didn't realize they offer punch card for $159 before tax until recently. It's a good deal if your kids like to come here often (saved 2 admission fees). I also liked that 2 adult admissions are included with one kid. There is no time limit, and kids can leave and return on the same day. My kid always had a blast here, especially the electric ride on motorcycle and sled run. There is a gate with staffs nearby made it a safer place compared to other places in town. read more

Went today with my wife and two kids. On the website it says kids under 1 are free with an accompanying sibling. The girl checking us in tried to charge us for our infant son. When we questioned it, she took it off. No big deal, right? All was fine as we went to the toddler area for my 2 year old daughter and infant son. The sign for the area states, infants and toddlers in diapers only. After 10 minutes, two older kids and their dad come in. The kids were maybe 5 and 7. The kids start running around this small toddler area while the dad did nothing. Eventually the kids took off their socks while the dad laid on the floor. We went to one of the workers and mentioned it. At first she seemed like she'd handle it after taking food orders. After a few minutes she goes to another girl and tells her, pointing the area. Again several minutes pass and neither go address the problem. We go and leave while watching both girls stand around. It should be noted, no one was at either register. They didn't say come again, or address the issue we had. The fact our infant son could not have an area to play because older kids chose it, is upsetting. We paid good money to go here only to leave within 30 minutes. We also came to this place for the toddler area. I would not come back here because of this incident. read more

We came for a birthday party and waited in a line out the door to get in. It was confusing because there was no one directing people into lines or letting anyone know what was going on. We found out later that the system was crashed and they were having trouble checking people in. When we finally checked in they told us to go in through the gate but the gate was locked. We had to wait and get their attention again to let us in. The play area is really big and there were kids running all over enjoying it. I wish it had more supervision by staff throughout the structure like some other indoor kids' businesses. Older bigger kids were jumping on top of little kids and several kids were crying but no one in the structure enforcing rules that I could see. Other than that the kids had a lot of fun and they turn the lights down for a fun dance party in the middle of the play time. There are pros and cons. Pros: My kids have a great time, it's new and clean. It's open a wide range of hours and I'm able to go when it's not super busy. Cons: No food allowed and there are very limited options for purchase. Pbj, cheese, pudding, applesauce, chips, a few kinds of candy, and ice cream. This place is expensive so you want to stay a long time to get the value. But you and your kids will either starve or O'D on snack junk. You are allowed re-entry with your receipt, which is a plus for some but once you bring 3 kids in there and go through the mind numbing frustration of getting them to finally leave, you know you don't want to come back and do it again in the same day. It seems like someone who doesn't actually have kids designed this model. A better snack bar with some hotdogs, pretzels and chicken nuggets would put this place at 5 stars. read more

Great place to wear the kids out. Adults get to climb through it too and it's a workout. There's multiples slides, spinning things, obstacle course basically, dance room. We didn't have a little one but they also had a small kids area. It was a lot of fun. My only complaint for this place is they have different arcade games to win rubber ducks or small stuffed things, it requires a lot of points. We bought a $10 card worth 50 points and it got us 5 tries at the arcade games but it does let you play until you win so that's nice. read more

I don't even know where to begin. I booked this party over a month ago for a dual birthday party for a 10-year-old and a four year old. I had issues with their website and the website kept erroring and booking us under the wrong package, so I called the store and let them know what I was experiencing and they assured me they would handle it. A week goes by and I call them to confirm that the package had been moved to the correct package. They let me know that it had not been moved yet so I asked them what the holdup was and they told me they would have to get their manager or district manager to contact me to see if we can get the package moved to the correct one. I never received that phone call. A couple of days go by and I reach out to make sure that we have the right package but still it is not fixed so they advised me they had to reach out to their IT department to physically go in and move the package. Three days after that I finally got confirmation that it was fixed. Jump to today our entire party made it to the site and we had to wait 20 to 30 minutes in line because they had booked so many parties at the exact same time that the line was out of the door and they were so short staffed that they couldn't handle the crowd. We finally got seated at our table 25 minutes late into our package play time. We received our pizzas an hour and 30 minutes later because we have the meal package booked and it had looked like it was dropped (by the way the pizzas or outsourced through Marcos, and there were slices stuck to the lid) We were supposed to get unlimited, gummy bears, and not one single person in our party ever received one. We were supposed to get one token for the birthday kids to take a ride on the go carts and the go carts were broken and they never got their ride. Close to the end of the party. We had an employee come and tell us that we had to move and that's where we started getting upset. They took so long for our party to get signed in that now we were having to pay the price and move our party before we were ready to leave to the other tables. My advice to the owners of this site. HIRE MORE STAFF!!!! I will be reaching out to the district manager to let them know exactly how bad our experience was today. We were testing out the site because my youngest daughter has a birthday coming up to see if we would be coming back to book another party with them, and we will not be returning. read more

We decided to take our two elementary aged kids on the 4th of July. We had a blast for 3+ hours straight. It was clean, the staff was very friendly & there was plenty to do. There are 3 types of slides and even my husband and I joined in. We got lucky that it wasn't very busy. We all had our own socks and the price seemed reasonable for the amount of time we spent there. We went today, it was snowy and the kids were off school. I called ahead of time to make sure they were open and planning on staying open even with the weather! They told me yes and to come on in! I had 5 kids with me, one was a year old and I was charged full price for him. That was fine, I don't mind paying but he slept the whole time. We walked in signed, our waivers and were told that our price 20.00 was for all day! We could leave any time, eat lunch and come back until 8pm. Then at around 1:30 (we got there at about noon) a young lady with long hair (extremely rude and snotty) informed us that they were closing at 3. We weren't even there for a full 2 hours! The gentleman that worked there was very kind and sweet. I asked if we could get 1/2 our money back or a pass to come back another day but was told I needed to speak with the manager, who showed up at 2:30, literally 30 mins before they were deciding to close! Her name was Kendra and she was zero help! She told me to send an email to the company and that there was no phone number to call to request a refund or day pass. She was worthless and had zero empathy! I paid over $120 dollars for 2 1/2 hours of play! I'm so disappointed with the employees and lack of care. (except the black gentleman who wanted to help and was super kind!) beware if you go of the snotty brat that likes to mock people and obviously hates her job! read more

Came in for the first time on a weekday afternoon and there were plenty of people but didn't feel crowded. Friendly and helpful staff and the place was nice and clean. Enough to do to keep us busy for a couple hours. Best part is that the claw machines are play till you win so no one walks away upset. Claw machines and motorized vehicles coat extra.
