Right off the bat, I will state that my biggest annoyance was having to pay for parking. It's absurd; if you're already paying for the room, parking should be included. Otherwise, we had a great time. The room was way bigger than the average hotel room of the same amenities. It was clean and comfortable. Loved the convenience of the wristband for getting into the room and also paying (almost) everywhere on site. Dinner at the Lodge Wood Fired Grill was delicious, and our daughter loved being able to look out into the water park from there. Breakfast buffet at Loose Moose was a bit overpriced, but honestly delicious so it was whatever. Prices at restaurants honestly seem "fair", in terms of it being like an amusement park level place. I loved that you could pretty much go wherever you wanted with whatever food/drink you wanted. Some places can be nit-picky about those things, so this was refreshing. Overall, we will definitely return!

My son enjoyed the games he was able to play (4 games were out of service). Not sure if I would go back unless we have to attend a party.

There are Indoor, family and handicap-friendly bathrooms right off the parking lot. We started with the awesome playground. I think it's great for kids between 2- to 7-years old. Older kids may not find it as exciting. There is a special Toddler area with two play Barnes, a music-making area and two toddler swings. I would love if they added extra toddler swings. Yall know how hard it is to get a toddler to take turns, so the line was a little long.This playground also has 4 big kid swings and a handicap-friendly swing. If you follow the trail past the tennis courts, there is another play area with a super-cool climbing theme. It has an actual climbing wall and a climbing structure with a curvy slide. My 3 year old was able to navigate it with a little coaching. We wrapped up the visit with a walk around the trail. It is mostly paved with some gravel areas. We had no problem pushing the kids' wagon around. They added several nice benches throughout the park. They also added location signs for safety. The picturesque bridges would be great for photos. Extra note, you can play Frisbee golf throughout the park, just follow the trail. They have two picnic shelters, one large and one small. There is also a lot of clear, open space. They did a great job with the renovation and we can't wait to go back.

The hallways & room was stuffy/not fresh. - Huge white stain on couch. I kept telling myself: "No big deal." But it kept bothering me. Needless to say, I did not sit on the couch! - Minor repairs needed -like TP holder & network wires hanging out of the wall. This could be a hazard to toddlers. I can't imagine why this was not corrected. -Bed & pillows were okay. Not the comfiest. I thought it just wasn't like home, until I compared with other hotels on my trip. -The TV is really outdated. Yes, it's flat, but looks like one of the firsts! lol! - Only 1 small TV shared across a long & narrow space. - Hard to roll suitcase on this carpet. -Interstate is outside my window. I had to leave before 7am so I could not enjoy their breakfast. * Please Note: I just completed a business trip stopping in multiple cities/hotels & I'm SO GLAD that this was my 1st stop & only stayed here 1 night.
