Sadly, don't waste your time. The toys, clothes, etc are priced at almost retail. Wasted my time come here from the the museum, won't be back. Just go to OUAC. way better deals for the same stuff. I will say though everything was very organized but doesn't justify the prices. read more

Do not waste you time or money here. Every time I've tried selling items to them, I receive attitude from the old lady that works there, and she openly judges you based on what you're trying to sell. They won't even look through any items that other shops have gone through, but they'll hold your items a full 24hrs anyway and waste your time. Whatever I've purchased from them has been expensive Not worth the time, money, or drama. I don't know how they're still in business, it's always dead in there. I will not be back. read more

I don't have any kids of my own, but you never know what kind of good deals you might find in a children's consignment store for the kids that belong to family & friends, so I thought I'd see what Kids Kloset had to offer on a lazy Sunday afternoon. There were a few other shoppers in the store at the time I arrived, and the shopkeeper was busily chatting away with one of them. I wasn't greeted when I walked in since they were mid-conversation, which didn't bother me - I'd rather not be talked to at all than be hounded in a retail establishment. And in fact, I wasn't talked to at all. I meandered about the store just to see if I could find any stand out items... nada. I came across a few cute little girls' dresses and a decent toy or two, but I thought the prices were a little high for a consignment shop. I could definitely find similar items, brand new at about the same prices if they were on sale or clearance. Then again, I don't have kids of my own so I'm not constantly in children's clothing stores, but I still felt these prices were a smidge too high for used clothing. The best part about this store was that it seemed really clean. Some consignment stores have a distinct aroma that will nearly drive you out before you've had the chance to shop, but not Kids Kloset. Maybe the prices are a little high because the owner washes all the clothing before selling it? Bottom line - this is worth checking out if you're a parent in the Greenwood area. If you are a strict bargain shopper like me, you might think the prices are a little high, but most of the clothing was of a better quality than what you'd find at your average Goodwill or Salvation Army shop. read more

Kids Kloset - Used, Vintage & Consignment Near Me - Greenwood, Indiana

I've shopped at Kids Kloset several times over the years, and have taken items in to sell as well. I've never had an experience like the one I had about a week ago. I came in with my daughter to sell a few items. When I entered the store I was greeted by someone (Manger, owner, I don't know) and I told her I wanted to sell some clothing. I then got the very distinct impression I was being sized up. When she looked at the single bag I was holding (a brown paper grocery bag) she made a face. The type of face I imagine I would make if someone was trying to hand me something that smelled bad. She then said that they simply didn't have room for any more inventory, and that I should bring it back "some other time". My hackles went up. I simply said "Okay" and turned to walk out of the store. At that time she noticed my daughter and said "Oh, what a pretty dress she has on!" I said "Yep" and kept walking. FYI lady, that bag of clothes you refused to even look at was full of other pretty dresses. Party dresses, the kind that always sell quickly at children's consignment stores. I walked out of the store in a huff. And before I could even say anything my ten year old said "Wow, that lady was RUDE!". I agreed with her and told her we won't ever be shopping there again. If a consignment store isn't taking particular items, put a sign on the door to let customers know. Otherwise, customers are understandably going to think that it's personal. Unless of course, it is personal. The kicker is that if there had been a sign on the door I would have simply walked my bag back to the car and gone in and browsed the store, as I had intended to shop as well. But they will never get my money again. read more

I came in for the first time and didnt know where anything was in this overcrowded place. The lady behind the counter finally said rudely what are you looking for. I said I dont know I've never been here before..so she rolled her eyes and said we have everything organized by boys , girls and broken down by size. So I walked around once and right out the door. Why would I pay $6-7 or more for a USED Nike/Adidas/Under Armour shirt for my 9 year old son?? I can get brand new at Marshall's/TJ Maxx for $6.99-$9.99 all day every day. I'm in no way a "thrift shopper" by definition as I will pop in and out on occasion; however it's not difficult to realize that these are the exact same shirts/shorts/etc. that someone would sell at a garage sale for $2 their just to lazy to do it so they take the items to a location like this. read more

Way too expensive for used items, especially toys. I found a nice sleeping bag, but it was covered in dog hair. I also wanted some hula hoops but they were several dollars here and $.89 just down the road. Lots of stuff, not too much of a weird consignment store smell, just too expensive. read more

The people that work here are incredibly rude and not helpful. The store is a mess, completely unorganized and just feels dirty. They should work on cleaning up their store as much as their personalities. read more

Dirty, overcrowded with rude employees. I had a horrible experience with the manager/owner years ago and had not been in for 5 years because of it. Since i am expecting a new baby I went in to see if anything had changed, apparently not. It was so crowded and a hazard to walk in there first of all, the floors were dirty because how could you clean them properly with so many things on the floor. There is no real organization at all. The prices were really high on things, a used toddler bed was 50.00 when I had purchased the same one for my daughter for 59.99 new. So strange. Definitely won't be going back. Very surprised this place is somehow still open. read more

Horrible Customer Service, just save yourself the headache and don't go there. There are too many other great places to buy and sell used children's clothes. Both bad experiences I had were from the store's owner if that says anything. I don't normally ever write reviews, but had such awful service I felt the need to warn others. read more

Do not give this place your business. Worst customer service ever! Horrible Associates. Can't say it enough how awful this place is - when I dropped off my kids clothing on Wednesday, the person working was too busy chatting on a personal phone call, laughing and giggling to someone the entire time I was there- to even bother talking to me. I was finally given a second of attention where she told me what to fill out, didnt tell me where to put the clothes. Called a day later where the person I spoke with said the bags were in the finished pile (since no one told me where to put the clothes) so they weren't ready. The Buyer I spoke with was the only associate who treated me like a person. Called the next day, an older woman answered the phone- and rudely asked if I received a call, no I hadn't and I explained what happened she found my bags and told me they were ready. Go in after work tonight to pick up the clothes and I walk in and the older woman ( not sure if it's the owner or not) answers the phone instead of helping me. Proceeds to carry on a conversation after telling me to wait while took the call- she chats on the phone the entire time I was there. At this point I'm over this "store" and go back to where I left the bags, grabbed them- the said woman is still on the phone- as I was leaving I told her that I had on 2 occasions now received terrible customer service and that I wouldn't be back. That her "store" had the worst customer service ever. She then begins to scream at me as I'm leaving - scream - and all I said was this is why I'll never be back. Terrible store, terrible associates, terrible experience. I will tell anyone looking to buy or sell children's clothing to never go to Kids Kloset in Greenwood. read more

Kids Kloset has really nice gently used items. All are in very good shape. Also, they have a wide range of maternity clothing. Who really wants to spend a lot of clothing your going to wear for such a short time? My sister and I went last weekend as we are both expecting our first babies this summer. Found lots of great deals! A almost new bassinet for 20, boppy pillow cover for 5, and maternity pants for 5. Can't beat it! read more
