Because of staffing issues, my 8 week old was subjected to an unsafe environment. Our infant class had to be combined with larger kids. My infant was violently rocked (in a rocker) by a larger kid while the 1 staff member in the room (with 7 kids) was on their phone. Later in the day, he was pulled closer to a teacher in the same rocker where she watched him being rocked harshly (again) by a larger student. This could have led to shaken baby syndrome, the rocker flipping over and multiple other dangerous scenarios. Concerns were raised with the front office and his teachers. It was suggested to us to "just not bring him the next day." Both my husband and I have full time jobs & we were still expected to pay the full weekly rate even though our son wasn't guaranteed a safe environment. As their "solution" the next day, they placed my son in the rocker inside of the crib...another unsafe scenario where he was completely ignored. All three of my boys are enrolled at KLLC and they are so happy! I check in on the live cameras often and I always see my baby being loved on, played with and snuggled, as well as my toddlers playing, learning, or being patted on the back during nap time. I truly feel like the staff loves my children and its such a relief to drop them off and know that they will be so well cared for. I have to drag my kids out of there every afternoon because they don't want to leave! I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone. read more

My daughter has been enrolled for over an year and we love it! Gym day and spanish are included with tuition. The staff knows her by name and how to handle her spunky personality and she loves it! I love the menu and when we were comparing other daycares the food difference played a huge impact on my choice. Also, I love that there are cameras in the room so I can check on her periodically. I plan to enroll my next child here as well. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because 1 they changed the camera system so that I can't go back and check on my daughter's day. If your child is a "biter" then I would definitely recommend this center to you. Our child was bit 6 times during her short enrollment at KLLC and the only thing the director would do as a plan of action would be to "observe the child who was biting closer" it was ridiculous! Do not send your child to this center!! They are unresponsive at best, the front desk is unpleasant, and they really could care less about a poor little girl who continually is getting bit. read more

We enrolled our daughter last week at KLLC when she turned 18 months. I was very worried how she would adjust with the eating and sleeping (on sleeping mats) but within the first week only the teachers made her so comfortable that she enjoys going there and we are so happy that she has adjusted so quickly. Her teachers Miss Minnette, Miss megan and Miss Maddison are so caring and pay attention to everything you tell them about your child. A very big plus is the video monitoring which I can view any time I want. I am glad I made this decision. read more

Lack of integrity with mgmt and owner. After a disagreement regarding the policy for the recent closures for weather days, the owner chose to terminate the contract without written or verbal notice. This was all orchestrated in the morning as my wife dropped our kids off, costing her and I both time at work. The teachers by and large are good, but a business owner with such egregious lack of integrity should be avoided. The good news is there are other centers in the area that hold themselves to much higher standards, look around! read more

In regards to Denise's comments about our conversation: After advising me of her disapproval with the review, with my husband and advising me of how much she does for her staff. I finally asked Denise to please tell me what she needed to tell me. She said after speaking to her family, they decided we needed to find a new place for our children. I asked Denise, "Are you telling me my children are no longer welcome at your daycare?" Her response was "yes, since Kris won't take the review down". I said "Okie dokie, I will have them out." I did not leave and return 10 minutes later. I walked to my car; called my husband, told him the kids were not allowed to go to school at KLLC anymore, returned inside, gather my children and their belongings and left. I told the owner on my way out "the review would not be coming down and this incident would be added." I said no mention of the BBB or any other agencies. read more

My son goes here and he loves it. The staff loves him, everyone knows his name and asks after him when he's sick. They genuinely care. They take pictures periodically and frame them for the parents at no extra cost. There's also a Web cam hooked up in every room with individual log ins for parents to check on their kids for those of us who had bad experiences growing up ourselves. I've had some of the staff connect with me as single mom's and just as people in general. I think this daycare is fantastic. The only reason I've given 4 stars rather than 5 is because at one point I did have to confront the teachers about some false information on my child's activity sheet (ie, it was pre-filled in that he'd eaten and napped when he and I had just arrived). I was contacted by the lead teacher of his room and she apologized and explained it wouldn't happen again, but one of the teachers resented me for it for a while. But her annoyance with me did not extend to my son, so that's fine. But I like KLLC quite a bit. read more

I don't normally write reviews but I know I was sure looking for them when I was in search of childcare for my 4 month old baby. Thank God I found this place. They are wonderful. The teachers are happy, all the kids are happy and my daughter comes home and is happy. After a bad experience at another child care center I can tell the difference, it is night and day! My daughter absolutely loves KLLC! We toured many day cares in the area and they all felt very scripted and unfriendly. When we got to KLLC the owner personally showed us around and answered our questions. The past couple of years have been great and I have to admit although there are cameras, I rarely look at them because I truly feel 100% comfortable with the care that my daughter is given here.
