They also have a few small claw machines. Overall a great variety of items to choose from. Prices are very fair for both tokens and merchandise; they're definitely comparable to or slightly cheaper than bigger stores. They also have a trade section for blind buys and a fun game to try for more prizes if you turn in your empty capsules! Plenty of parking in their shared public lot. Very chill ambiance - not too overstimulating but definitely a fun vibe to shop around in. I adore how the owner has decked out the store. My family and I had the best time here. 1000/10 recommend!

We came half an hour before closing, and decided to take a little walk around the shop. The exterior is brightly lit with captivating lights and the machines itself are blinking at you, asking you to spend your money! The prices were consistent and decently priced. Since we were window shopping, we didn't ask for any support but a couple next to us did. The person at the register was very friendly and had wonderful energy! If you're finding a specific toy, this place is sure to have it. I didn't end up purchasing anything tonight since I came from the POP MART in Costa Mesa, but I know where to go when I need to!

My 6 1/2 year-old daughter, who absolutely loves Pokémon, Sanrio, and cute figurines like Lalabubu, was so excited to visit Robo Hunters. They have claw machines and vending-style crank machines filled with adorable collectibles. I gave her $5 for tokens, thinking she'd get a fun prize from one of the crank vending machines where you always get something. She picked a Lalabubu-themed machine near the clerk that cost 3 tokens and showed all the possible figurines in the window. Imagine our shock when the prize that came out was not a toy at all -- it was a plastic egg containing only a piece of paper with a 5% off coupon. Nowhere on the machine did it clearly say a coupon could be a prize, just the cute figurines behind the glass. We felt outright tricked. I explained to the clerk that this wasn't what we expected, but she dismissively said, "That's the prize, it's a blind bag," and walked away without any empathy. My daughter was heartbroken, and frankly, I was angry. We tried the claw machines next, but they barely let you reach the edges, making it nearly impossible to win anything. This felt like a bait-and-switch, a grift disguised as fun. If you want to take your kids somewhere honest and joyful, look elsewhere. Robo Hunters left us feeling ripped off and sad. We won't be coming back, and neither should you.

I rearranged my schedule and made time to come back based on what your staff told me. When I arrived today, I was told they still weren't out yet. When I asked if there was anything they could do since I was specifically instructed to come back at that time, the employee at the front basically acted indifferent and just said there was nothing they could do. I've been in retail for years, and entering inventory into a system is not some massive impossible task. This honestly came across as laziness and a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Don't tell customers to come back at a specific time if you're not actually prepared to follow through. Traffic and gas prices in Southern California are terrible. People are spending real time and money to come support your business, so at least be considerate of that when making promises to customers. I understand inventory processing takes time, but communication and effort matter. A simple apology or attempt to help would have gone a long way. The store is large and packed with product, but there also weren't many customers there, which makes the lack of urgency even more frustrating. The owner should seriously consider improving management and customer service standards because experiences like this are exactly why customers stop coming back.
