After trying other dental places for years, I finally took my kids to see Dr. Bagheri. My daughter, who had trouble getting dental work done, had previously needed sedation dentistry up until 7 years old. One day she had a terrible infection and needed a tooth pulled. My daughter was not able to remain calm, but Dr. Bagheri was patient throughout, and eventually was able to extract the tooth. This place was amazing! I was so nervous going in because I knew my son had some cavities. You know us mamas don't want to feel like we aren't doing a good job. From the receptionist to the dental hygienist to the doctor, they were each so welcoming, friendly and nonjudgmental. I was very happy with the dentist and the rest of the staff at the location. Made the appointment with a friendly informative front end check in receptionist. When I got to the building it was a bit confusing because it was under construction and the rooms were not labeled with what floor they were on. So I guessed till I got it right. The hall was being worked on but the actual dental office was complete and looking brand new and great! We checked in waited in a clean and beautifully decorated room. They had a table with books that my daughter really enjoyed. There was a Disney movie on as we waited maybe 6 min. We were greeted and my daughter had her x rays done by a friendly woman who was great at keeping my daughter calm. My daughter was a nervous and hesitant to let let him look at her teeth. He was great at getting her to warm up to him. He was able to talk to her and make her laugh all while giving her an exam. I was pleased with the staff and how happy my daughter was. She left with and tooth brush and clean yeah and a smile. The exam ended with a lot of great information and tips on how to keep her teeth healthy. It was over all a great visit. I could not be happier with this dentist! I've been coming here with my two young children for a couple years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I originally came here because I was going to another Dentist and they seems pretty quick to put my then-2 year old son under general IV to have a filling down and I wanted a second option. Turned out my son DID need a filling but the Dr was SO much more willing to talk about different treatment options and methods. This review is submitted following my second visit to see Dr. Bagheri, with my 2 1/2 year old daughter. My daughter is energetic, and somewhat afraid of the dentists office. However, even with all of fear she has for the dentist and her rowdy behavior during the examination, she is immediately pacified by Dr. Bagheri following her appointment. He handles my daughter with the utmost care, putting her at ease once the examination is complete. I'm not sure how this makes my daughter feel, though it brings immediate calm to her mother and I. I love Kids Smile! Finally I found a good dentist for my kids. Everyone in the office were super nice. Their office is clean and kid friendly. Dr. Bagheri was awesome! He was very gentle with my kids. I have a 6 yr old and a 5 yr old who were so afraid to see the dentist. Just went in to the office today with my 5 year old for a cavity filling and Dr. was great. They gave my daughter a liquid feel good medication and it worked. The Dr was so patient with my daughter and I was greatful. The front office staff and back office are just very kind so that's what is always appreciated. My daughter was very loopy and could not even stand for a few minutes. My daughter did not even know what happened and asked me where she was and why she could not feel her mouth. I was referred to this dentist by another dentist who no longer accepted my insurance. I went in and the office and staff were nice, and it was clean. One of my two daughters is extremely anxiety ridden when it comes to Dr visits, especially something intrusive, like a dental examination with x-rays. Best Dentist Experience your kids will ever have !! We fell in love with the service from the first day, Dr. Bagheri is amazing with kids (and parents ) He makes the visit fun he will joke and play with them me makes gloves balloons (and decorates them lol) there's plenty of toys in the waiting area and 3 tvs for the kids to watch cartoons ! We started going to Dr. Bagheri about 3 years ago because my oldest son has autism and we heard he was the best. I can honesty say he is! The first two dentists we went to wouldn't even look in my sons mouth. They kept putting it off saying maybe next time we will get lucky. Dr Bagheri realized we needed the full picture and we were able to go to Rady's for X-rays. Every visit he is so patient with us. I have four kids and all of them see him. My son has made huge strides each time we go and this time was probably one of the best times we have gotten. This office is so great! I have a 4 year-old and twin 2.5 year olds and they all love it here! Bringing all three kids at the same time is possible since they love it and the staff is so attentive! Everyone is so kind and patient with the kids and make it so fun. When I was there today the dentist gave each of my kids a stuffed dragon to hold that had teeth and they each got to practice brushing the dragon's teeth. So cute! This dentist loves to extract baby teeth and even when they arent ready to come out. His reason said because it will never come out on its own and the other tooth won't have room. Stupid me I listened to him. My daughter was in so much pain afterwards. She refuses to go back to this place. Found this place after a Google search. Great reviews, so I decided to take my son for his visit. They state they treat children with special needs, so I was sold. At the office the Dr seemed very attentive on the initial visit. Without attempting, the dr recommended sending my son to Children's Hospital for Xrays. OK fine no biggie. We schedule the appointment at Children's. Day of appt the appt at Children's it seemed rushed as they were running on a tight schedule. That should have been a red flag. Long story short, they did xrays and did fillings on some teeth but the root cause of the visit was addressed AFTER the dr decided to do what he wanted. After procedure there was no follow up at all! Dr said he would provide recommendation but I have yet to receive his recommendation and it's been 2 months. What I get from this is if you are not a regular client your needs are disregarded. Unless you are a regular patient, I do not recommend seeing this dr. read more

I strongly advise you to look elsewhere when choosing your children's dentist!! Dr. Baghari is running a shady business. My daughter was referred to his office by her pediatrician and also accepts her insurance so I thought it was going to be a perfect fit. I was taken back by the amount of work he wanted to do just from the x rays alone. His treatment plan was so confusing considering he never even looked in her mouth or showed me which teeth needed work. He wanted to do so many extractions that I felt were totally unnecessary. I held off getting any work done until it was too late. My daughter was having extreme pain and I didn't know what to do or if I should go somewhere else. I decided to give the Doctor another chance. BIG MISTAKE!!! He did not take time in his schedule to see her until 5 days later. By then her pain was gone and he took an x ray and gave us yet another treatment plan instead of doing any work. The next day the pain was back and I called him (as he asked me to do if it returned) and he went off on me about other teeth needing extracting and that I didnt want to do that. He said he couldn't see her again for another 4-5 days and that he could call in some antibiotics if I wanted. If he had seen an infection 1 day prior don't you thing he should of prescribed that then, not over the phone?? I transferred her files to another office and had a wonderful experience today somewhere else. My daughter is now pain free and I was confirmed by this office that the treatment plan prescribed here was excessive. I only give 2 starts because the staff here is very nice, and the office is very clean. Please don't let that fool you!! read more

Part 1: Mothers worst nightmare! Monday, July 13, 2020 my son was scheduled for his 9am appointment to get his crown. I tell my son the night before to prepare him emotionally he immediately starts crying because he is scared and hates laying down as he calls it. I tell him it will be fast and everything will be ok since the dentist had already done work on it last time. And I failed my son! We get their and for some reason right before we start I get a feeling in my gut thinking I hope they do the right tooth. Idk why? I just did and so right at that moment the dentist says oh what are we doing to Santiago today so I tell him you are putting a crown on the temporary filling and he looks at the x-ray and says oh yes I see it, let's get that fixed. My son is laying down scared, nervous, and shaking. I tell him it's going to be ok. They begin with the laughing gas then on to the anesthetic. He obviously cries since that's the most painful part. They then begin putting the rest of the things in his mouth then the doctor behind drilling. Immediately my son starts moving like he is in pain and in double pain because of the loud sound the drilling makes. I realize it's taking a little long but partly because Santiago kept moving and couldn't stop crying. I keep telling him it's gonna be ok papi. I then hear the dentist ask his assistant is that a permanent tooth? And she responds in a soft voice yes. So I'm like huh? But they go on and I just didn't think anything of it. After the longest 40 minutes of my life they finally finish. My son is crying saying it hurt that hurt a lot. My heart breaks and all I want to do is cry with him but I have to be strong for him so I just hug him and tell him I'm sorry papi it's gonna be ok your done no more we don't have to do this again we are gonna take extra care of your teeth so you don't have to go through this again. The dentist says if it's ok to give him Tylenol for the pain now and I said yes please. Then he tells me ok I want to see him again in 3 months and I'm like oh no for what if he doesn't need anything else and he tells me just to see how he is doing. So I said ok. We head to the elevator and walk to the car. He is still crying and all I keep telling him is I'm sorry but don't worry we don't have to do that again. Then I have him get in the car and ask him to open his mouth so I could see the crown they put on him. Only to realize a nightmare. What the? What happened to his other molar behind the crown? Why does his tooth look like that? It was not like that before. That tooth was not supposed to be touched. I immediately freaked out. I ask my son to get out of the car that I need to ask the dentist something. We go back upstairs and I ask if I can talk to the dentist. In that moment I see his assistant so I call her and say sorry I just want to know what happened to my sons other tooth? Why does his molar look like that? She tells me oh the doctor was going to call you to explain. In my head I'm like wtf explain what? So I ask can I talk to him because my sons molar looks really bad and I don't understand why if their was nothing wrong with it. He comes and I ask him excuse me why does my son other molar look like that? He then goes to tell me "oh yes, I'm sorry I was going to call you it's just that he was moving a lot so I accidentally shaved a little off of it." A LITTLE. We are so happy to have found this practice and Dr. Bagheri. We are new to California and finding new dentists and doctors is a long process. Dr. Bagheri graciously saw us even though we accidentally showed up a week early for the appointments. My younger son has Aspergers and is not a fan of people putting things in his mouth. The Dr. was able to put him at ease and made a very easy appointment. He also spent a great deal of time one on one with both my boys and did even the cleaning himself. Dr. Bagheri did an amazing job with my son who has autism. I had taken him to two other places before and he was the only one who was patient and didn't make us feel rushed. my son actually sat in the chair and didn't cry like he had at the other two places.
