What really sets this place apart is that it's not a factory pushing patients in and out. You get real one-on-one care, personalized attention, and a treatment plan tailored specifically to you. I've come here for multiple hand injuries and have had great results every time. I made the mistake of going to a different rehab clinic for a shoulder injury once, and I definitely regretted that decision. The level of care just wasn't the same. Their doctors at the time were inept unprofessional uncaring rude egotistical especially the wound care Dr. James Stern too busy discussing plastic surgery options with staff nurses while making a derogatory remark about my very sick Mother in ICU. Where he worked at the time the office manager wears a black cocktail dress. If that gives you any indication. The primary Dr. there would come from Aventura Hospital to Kindred a slow to action unfit Dr. who should have sent my Mother back to Memorial Hospital the minute he saw her blood pressure dropping instead of waiting three days. The nurses braid each others hair at the nurses station while watching sports genes in ten TV's stretched out from Patients rooms. I caught the physical therapist abusing my Mother, blasting music holding her up by her hair by her temples. The respiratory therapist left a hose on my Mother's face dragging her eye down and refuse to help me because she said she was pregnant and couldn't lift anything? We're talking about a woman's head not a heavy box. On June 19th 2014 it was lightening and thundering like I never saw it before. I received a phone call to hurry up and come there that my Mother's blood pressure was dropping quickly. As she was dying the nurse did a count down as if she worked at NASA then announced FLATLINE! The most robotic insensitive person ever. After my Mother died lovely women in the waiting area held my hands and sang gospel songs to me. I went home alone and defeated. The next day I called Kindred Nurses station a PA Patrick answered the phone. I asked, " What did my Mother die of?" He said, " She had an infection, oops I wasn't supposed to tell you that."
