    Thomas train room

Ok - I would give it 3 and a half stars but because I went in a hour and a half before closing time, and asked for a discount and she gave me half the price - they earn an extra star! ($6) I would NOT pay full price. Anyway, interesting little place. BRING SOCKS FOR CHILD AND YOURSELF. Different rooms to go in, and a child can check them out. Most items you can have at your house. Baby doll strollers, kitchen sets, cash registers, outdoor car toys, etc) Princess palace room, has a table, baby dolls, maybe a little kitchen. Our favorite room was the Thomas The Train room, where kid can ride it by pressing button. It's behind the lady at front desk w/ baby gate. Had balloons in there too. Daughter got a kick out of it cuz we don't have that one at home. The play place is small but another thing we didn't have at home. So daughter seemed to like it. They have an adult corner, free wifi, in the middle of the kids town play floor. Provides seating and a TV. Next to it is a baby section. Overall, would rather go to children's musuem, or Morton arboretum. But great for a rainy day, or if you wanna check a new kids place out. We get tired of the same ol. Just a big amount of space for kids to run and have fun.

kids running around in a pretty safe environment, yes please! This is a great place for kids up to age 5. There are several stations where kids can pretend to be a vet, doing groceries, playing police officer, cook, and more. A few things that I dislike about the place is that it just has a germy, grimy feel to it. If you need a place to cool down and sit and relax while your kids run around in a safe environment, this is the place to go.

Perfect place to take your toddler in the winter time. There are so many rooms for kids to play in that don't have doors and they can't escape so as parents you can relax more than other places where you have to chase your kid around the whole time. It's a little pricey so that is the only Reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars. If the membership was 1/2 the cost I would join. But will definitely be back! Kids can play with the toys or climb in the playscape they have there which is completely safe - it's enclosed. PERFECT place to take a 2 yo. They also have little bouncies for babies and leather chairs for adults. This place rules. If only they had beer! LOL

If…read moreTuft A Rug treats their actual customers with the same total lack of respect they show to the local community's personal property, save your money and look elsewhere. While I was having lunch nearby at Lazy Dog with my family, a representative from this shop decided to use the entire parking lot as their personal dumping ground, going row by row shoving unsolicited advertising flyers under the windshield wipers of every single vehicle including mine. Let's be entirely clear: nobody wants your marketing garbage forced onto their car. It is incredibly invasive and disrespectful to touch someone else's vehicle without permission. Beyond that, it creates an immediate, ugly litter problem for the neighborhood when these papers inevitably blow away or get tossed onto the pavement by annoyed drivers. If a company has to resort to desperate, intrusive, guerrilla-style littering tactics just to get eyeballs on their brand, it speaks volumes about the sub-par quality of their operation. I will absolutely never support Tuft A Rug, and I strongly urge everyone else to take their business to other local shops that actually respect private property and the community.

Tuft-A-Rug is located in Fox Valley Mall, which is perfect as most other rug making locations are in the city. Walking by, you can immediately see people already at work (a genius way to grab people's attention!). You start by choosing what size rug you would like to make, as price and time requirements differ with both. I recommend booking in advance. If you come as a group, the fee also becomes discounted. I chose the 21x18 size and went with a friend which came to about $60 per person. It starts out with a demonstration so you get to practice a bit! I was super nervous but once you get the hang of it, it's so much fun. You can make any design you want. You'll trace out the image by either free handing it, or you can use your phone to project a picture and trace it that way. A tip is that if you know what you want to do and have an image, you can actually email it to them and they can trace it ahead of time so it's ready- which is super convenient. There's a plethora of color yarn you can choose from. I know I keep saying it, but seriously, this activity was so much fun. Once it comes together it really gives you so much satisfaction. It did take quite a bit of time, and the bigger and more complex your design, the longer it will take. I, of course, like to make my life complicated for some reason so it took a bit of time, maybe about 3 hours. But it came out SO cute! I made a hedgehog laying in a bed of daisies!! Please do note, that you will not go home with your rug the day of. They do have to finish it which may take about a month (it can be shipped if need be). There are some options of finishing touches that you can select. And if you do have some small patchiness that might need a touch up, they're happy to help! Service was awesome, the owner Keaton was the bomb. So patient, funny, and super helpful! Even with a bigger group he managed to help everyone when they needed it. The location is ideal, there's definitely enough space and seating, cool walls to take photos with your rugs. The playlist was bomb. The price is completely fair and actually very affordable for the service, time, and product. I really have nothing but more raving to do about this place and wish it all the best. I've already recruited a friend group to come back and do it with me! Keaton is passionate about his work and it is very clear in the way it is set up! So as always, please support local businesses and especially this one which is unique and so much fun! You won't regret it!

LONG REVIEW BUT READ BEFORE CONSIDERING USING THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR EVENT:…read more I should start out with saying I have been in contact with the owner Stacie MULTIPLE times and am left with nothing but frustration. Stacie is not a bad person but I do feel she is completely overwhelmed in running this business. I've been dealing with Funtime Services since April 1st 2025 trying to book a mobile petting zoo for my daughter's first birthday planned for June 2025 and the experience has been frustrating to say the least. Communication has been a major issue throughout the process, especially with Stacie herself since anyone else I did get to talk with couldn't help me in the slightest other than they'll leave a message for Stacie and then I never hear from her UNLESS I were to reach out and call and some how catch her available in office. Getting clear answers or even timely replies to emails has been nearly impossible. After multiple attempts to try and talk to Stacie herself once I did reach her two different phone calls I was turned away with "I'm busy right now doing something else , I can email you once I become available" (mind you then I'd never heard back at all) to which I'd have to reach out again and finally durning one of our last conversation, she provided general information she had to text to me at that moment and discussed two different pricing options for a petting zoo. She explained that she would be reaching out to two separate vendors at different price points. I informed her that I was more interested in the lower-priced option NATURALLY, but made it clear that I would be willing to book either one, as my main priority was securing a petting zoo so I would be waiting to hear back from her regardless who she was able to secure but to just let me know. So money was not the problem. Mind you any time I would voice my frustrations she keep reminding me "I don't make much money off doing this you know, at most I make $20" What should have been a straightforward booking has dragged on for over a month, and I'm still left with uncertainty and decided to not continue "service" with the company FunTime Services Event Rentals. If you're even considering Funtime Services for your event, just be aware that it may take an unreasonable amount of time just to start the process of securing your event. I really expected more professionalism and reliability for catering to such a nice suburban area like Naperville. Just leaving this review to show all what i experienced so anyone else out there knows what entails if interested in booking with them. Seriously proceed with caution.

We did have a slight mishap though and this is a good reason why when running an event it is important to confirm, confirm, confirm. I had suggested to my wife before our event that we call a few days before and the day of the event to ensure delivery. However we were all very busy and neither of us did. Well on the day of our event, the delivery was late. It appears our worst fears occurred and the drivers missed us. I called a half hour before the end of the window and spoke with Stacie. So it indeed was their mistake she immediately got on the case and stayed in touch with me until everything was corrected. Their prices are fair, they have a great new show room on route 59 which makes it so helpful to see tables and options in person. They also have a great selection and great ideas.I give a strong recommendation to consider them for your next party. Just make sure you take my advice and confirm your orders as well as your delivery!

We met Jamie at our venue's vendor expo and were immediately impressed by their services, pricing, and vast food offerings. It was a no brainer to book with their group! We had our tasting a couple months before our wedding day; which is complimentary to the couple and a $50 charge for any additional guest to join. They have you select 8-10 appetizers, 2 salads, and 4 entrees to taste at their Naperville location. They also have displays of china, silverware, glasses and more to help couples select what aligns aesthetically for their special day. Jamie worked with us to make small modifications to their standard offerings to make the food exactly what we wanted! Our wedding day came and we were floored by the quality/presentation of food, level of detail in place settings, and service from all staff members. We had multiple guests say that this was some of the best wedding food they've had, steaks were not over cooked, and food tasted fresh. Jamie also let us add desserts a week out to reallocate money from a couple of guests who last minute were unable to attend. Their team was even nice enough to service items not purchased through their group: disposables for the late night snack, display and refilling of cupcakes, etc. Overall, their group went above and beyond for us under Jamie's leadership. The good: - Once your kids get the hang of the self-latch system, they'll be able to climb safely without close supervision. - There are lots and lots of climbing walls and some have unique features. It's very entertaining for climbers over 48". - They have a drinking fountain. - They have hand sanitizer dispensers. The bad: - Many areas were shut down. We couldn't do the ninja course because "something is leaking from the ceiling" in one of the areas. Some features on the climbing walls (like the wheel you turn to bring a trapeze thing closer to a ledge) are broken. - They are severely understaffed. When we visited on Monday, Aug. 11, the ropes course was only open for a few minutes, as was the wall-hang slide. Because those areas require employees and there weren't enough people to work them, they were closed off for the bulk of our visit. - It's a bit expensive. I feel like I'd pay the $30 per kid if they had access to everything, but between the broken attraction and the areas shut down because of staffing issues, the price felt steep. - There's not a lot of seating available if you're a parent who just wants to watch. There are a few benches, but you can't see large sections of Funtopia when you're sitting there. I was hoping to do some work on my laptop, but there were no tables near the benches. - If you leave, you cannot re-enter once you leave the building, so hunger may become an issue as outside food is not allowed. I'd love to come back here with my kids, but I hope they have enough staff to keep all the attractions running and I hope they fix the "something leaking" on the ninja course. I got the sense that this was a place run by teenagers and the owners may be absent or uninvolved.
