The staff are SO nice - today I brought my toddler and baby in to play and realized I didn't have my debit card on me -- my husband lost his last weekend and must've swiped mine in the morning before work. I was super embarrassed but the staff said not to worry about it and let my excited 2yo in to play. I ended up having my Grandma swing by to pay for me, but man, what a nightmare! my son absolutely loves this place and it's great to get out a lot of energy. there is a lot for him to do so when we go in one of the two hour time slots he has no problem finding something to do during the time we have. we've only been here twice but we did sign up for the monthly membership so i'm looking forward to see how it does from here. there's really only one thing keeping me from giving a five star review. as many have mentioned, there is a specific area that is for the ages two and under. i think that's great, especially when reinforced, to keep the little ones safe from getting hurt. however, my problem is not with the two and under play area. my problem is that for the rest of the play space the age limit is 12. meaning three year old ( such as my son ) are mixed in with 12 year olds. while there are kids who can be gentle around younger kids..most of them aren't. in the two visits i've had to kidtopia i have witnessed the other kids act in a way that either could hurt the younger ones ( and even other older kids if not paying attention ) or have made them scared / uncomfortable. this includes them climbing over the slide that goes into the big ball pit and jumping down. extremely rough play in the big ball pit to the point the younger kids were very scared and needed their parents to come in and get them. running around fast knocking down a child at MAXIMUM five years old making her face plant on the floor and them being aware yet not stopping to make sure she was okay and continuing to run around. as well as pushing not only younger kids out of the way but ADULTS too. the last two shocked me the most. parents who were around the girl who got pushed down did help her but the fact that the kids who knocked her down didn't even stop to see if she was okay left me standing there with my mouth open shocked. i even had a kid who was on the higher end of the age limit PURPOSELY shoulder check me out of the way when i politely asked him to not push my toddler. luckily with that incident the dad was right there and talked to his son. but i just don't love that the rest of the building is 3-12 when those ages are so far from each other and the way they play are so different which then can lead to injured or scared toddlers. i don't expect them to change the age limits but if you're kid is someone who can be on the more sensitive side when it comes to situations like this, i probably wouldn't recommend it. yes, we did let them employees know about the kids rough housing and they did say something over the intercom but kids who are having fun playing won't bother to stop and listen to that so it continued. i do also wish ( like some other children's places such as chuck e. cheese ) they'd have a sensory sensitive time slots so those who may be autistic or have sensory sensitivities in general could go and play freely as well. read more

I took my toddler there on a weekend and she enjoyed herself. At her age, she was able to enjoy the crawlers area, as well as the rec area for the older kids. Good fun and the two hours just flew by. There are slides, some small swings, lots of climbing and crawling through narrow spaces. It ended up being a workout for me too. The only disappointment for me was parents being their kids who were unwell. There were at least two kids with bad colds and coughs and using the common toys. While it was extremely irresponsible for the parents (especially since there is a notice asking parents to NOT bring unwell kids), I'd like kidtopia to watch out for this and either not sign-in those kids or ask them to leave with a mulligan pass. I hope something can be done about this part. Also, please add some more kids shopping carts! Those are extremely popular and all kids aren't good sharers read more

Came to this place wife my daughter and also my sister's kid two weekends ago. When we were here, we noticed at least 5 kids that were inside, were sick. Two adults with them were also sick too. Some had a wet cough (you know how it sounds like). Guess what?......my daughter and my nephew both became sick. She had a fever with a really bad cough along with a funny nose. Nephew is the same without a fever. Their illness lasted very long. That is why I am posting this negative review on Christmas. Their holidays are ruined because they too sick to go anywhere. Business like this should really harsh on people who are sick to prevent contagion. read more

We took our 3 1/2 year old daughter and she had such a good time. She enjoyed the play structures (particularly, the many slides, ball pit, and floating balloon area), the ice cream truck for pretend play, and the costumes for dress up. There was so much for her to do! We appreciated that everyone is supposed to wear their socks to keep the area clean. This is such a great addition to Fremont's family entertainment scene...one that many of us have been hoping to have for many years. I've been several times and I'm writing this review as I'm here, this will be our last visit. I brought my 4 year old and 11 month old. ANY kid play place I've ever been has charged for 2 and up, including DISNEYLAND! My 11 month old was asleep when we checked in and after an hour he woke up. After he woke up and adjusted to where we were he got down and decided to use a push toy. He's learning to walk and that's all I wanted to use. I was approached by staff and informed that I needed to pay for him. Nothing was ever mentioned at check in about him, and I had to return to the counter to pay if he wanted to play. I talked to the staff and they referred to Jolly Roger land as what they're mimicking for their pay-scale. Which is a play place, I've never been or heard of. It's not the fact that I had to pay it's that nothing was said at check in and I was sought out and told if he's playing I'm paying. These things should've been established at the beginning of our visit. Due to my visits at other play spaces, and lack of communication at check in I assumed he was free until he got older, as many other kid play places do. Also, they'll charge you for anything here. It states socks are $2 but if you bring your socks from your last visit you're still charged for them, and they won't discount you $2 for bringing your Kidtopia socks from previous visits. Yes it's only $2 for the customer but think it all the customers who have socks already and don't take the new ones. They're just making more money off people. Pretty sad, I thought this place was a good way to get out of the heat but beware of extra charges, I'm sure even your 6 month old will be charged if they're crawling around. However, they will not have high chairs in the snack room. If you're charging for babies make sure you're fully prepared. Also! There is no safety features in place. No way to tell if the kid leaving with the parent is actually their parent or the adult they came with. If they're trying to mimic other play spaces they should focus on safety first to ensure no kid can be taken without who they came with. read more

It is way too crowded. I wonder if they have maximum limit. Mostly I see 1 kid w 2 adults. Most parents are actually climbing inside the structure. I took my girl to some similar place before. However, she was too scared to go up to the structure because there are too many adults there. Kids are okay with other kids. Most of them are not comfortable with stranger adults. The structure is safe enough for kids. If kids are not capable to play in the big structure, it mean they are not ready for it. There is area for younger kids. Adults should not be allowed. They can keep an eyes and watch but not physically get it there. Plus it would cause cleaning issue too since men sweat a lot. I was planning to host my girl birthday party there but I m not sure anymore. Very disappointed! read more

Staff was great and friendly. Place seems clean enough, although it should be mandatory for people to wear Kidtopia's socks. You don't know where other people have been walking around in their own socks - it's the same concept as bare feet. I have a few complaints - it's $10 for kids 1 and under which is pretty much a joke. My 10 month old didn't do much but sit with me, so having to pay for her was stupid. The other thing is charging adults for their socks!! You pay $14 or $10 and they charge you almost $2 for the adult socks. Seriously???? Lastly - people should be required to watch their kids at all times. There were a couple little brats today running around pushing other kids, bothering other kids, and parents were either constantly on their cell phones not paying attention or just flat out no where to be found! read more

My daughter is 3 years old now. I decided to go back to see how this place has changed? They definitely add more stuff to this place. Toys has disappeared, no more train set. Harder to supervised your child when the place is too crowded with adults standing around. I will suggested the owner to start charging more on the weekends to prevent the over crowd. I wouldn't mind paying even 20$ admission fee. But please update some of your toys. The reason why your toy came missing so much is because there's too many people, so hard to to spot kids who are taking the toys home. I also suggested you to start putting some toys up for sell. Only reason is because My daughter, would always want to take a toy home. Instead of taking yours, I'll buy something for her to take home so she's wouldn't cried. My boys had so much fun! This was my first indoor play ground I have taken my boys too. And they loved it! We went on a super bowl Sunday thinking it wouldn't be to full but it was packed. We got there early in the afternoon and had to wait 10 minutes to be allowed in. The women at the door would take our name and numbers down in case we didn't want to have to wait outside. You don't need to buy their socks and it's only 14 bucks to get in. They have a ball pin area and a few slides. It was more appropriate for my little toddlers than my 5 year old nephew. They had toys for them to play with along with the open space they had. I can tell the staff had trouble keeping the parents and older kids to cooperate. read more

I just held my 3yo's birthday party here this past weekend. They have several party packages which is an area of improvement, but I'll go into that later. All in all, it was great and the kids had a lot of fun. What drew me to this place was 1) the variety of play structures and areas and 2) the cleanliness. During the playtime, employees are cleaning and vacuuming. I even saw on their Instagram stories that they will suck the balls out of the ball pit one by one and the balls will go thru a cleaner. That's pretty amazing to me since I'm a germaphobe and would put my kids in a sanitized bubble if I could. The staff are all really friendly and helpful, I mean they have to be to deal with the amount of screaming kids and unreasonable parents....me prob being on of them. They even helped me get a large mylar balloon that escaped to the top of the ceiling. Areas where I think they can improve. Please focus on 3) which I'm pretty passionate about: 1).Rule Enforcement - there is a sign near the bathrooms which state shoes need to be on. All afternoon, I see kids running in there with only their socks on. So that means everyone's piss and poop on their socks will be tracked all over the play area where your 1yo may lick and suck on. I shudder 2) Strict party regulations - No confetti, no piñata, no outside drinks, no outside food (unless you pay for it), no this, no that. Might as well not have fun. You only get 15minutes prior to the start of your party room to setup decorations, etc. I did not say 15 minutes prior to the start of your party. It's 15 minutes prior to using the room your guests will be eating and having cake in which is usually the start of the 3rd hour (2 hours of play, then 1 hr use of the room). I'm a Pinterest mom so I do not know how to do light/no decor. I needed 2-3hrs in total to complete all the decor.. 3) They NICKEL AND DIME YOU for parties - The party package 3 that I purchased includes 10 kids, but 15 max. They charge you for each addtl child AND adult and EVERY child is charged even if he/she is 1 month old and will not play in the play area. To me, this was horse sh**. They also charge you $20 per tray of outside food you bring....more horse sh** and they don't allow outside drinks. SO.... you basically want to starve and dehydrate my guests??! The menu they offer is pretty crappy (read: pizza, chicken wings, hot dogs, burgers) and we wanted some asian food (egg rolls and a pan of noodles) for our guests so they were pushing to charge us. For water, they charge $0.80/bottle. That's $19.20 for 24 bottles of water when I can buy a case for $2. KidTopia should NOT be making a profit off of the food WE bring in for our party. That means Kidtopia should then charge a mom who brings a banana and sandwich as a snack for her kid during a std day play pass? I cannot stress this enough, its so much bullish**. There was so much back and forth negotiation since we felt strongly and did not agree with their rules. At the end of it, they waived most fees/rules. I also observed other parents from other parties complaining to the staff, I'm not sure about what, but there is a lot to complain about. The owner really needs to revisit their party rules and guidelines so it will be a much more pleasant experience and the staff will not need to deal with unhappy parents on a weekly basis. Thank you for always keeping your facility clean. That matters a lot when you have small children as they put everything in their mouths. It's hard to find sanitary indoor play gym these days. We enjoy taking our 18 months old here and he always sleeps well at night after spending the day here. I wish you offered more mommy and me gym type of classes for toddlers! Only drawback is the parental guidance policy. Often times big kids are unattended and they go into the toddler area stomping on little crawling babies. Need more on-site staff. read more

Had an okay first experience, not great. Let's start with the good: There's a good variety of play areas for kids of all ages. My son's favorites were the basketball court and the kitchen play area. Staff is friendly and informative. Where improvement is needed: Rule enforcement. They advertise that kids must wash their hands before playing but very few did. There are no running signs everywhere but kids were running and almost knocked my son down. Ultimately it is up to the parents to teach their kids how to follow the rules but there aren't staff members besides at the counters to make sure everything is running smoothly. There was even a parent who was walking around the socks only area with shoes on. Will not be back but I can see why this is great for older kids who don't need to be watched as closely as younger kids. This was seriously the best time we have had with my niece, my son , my sister and I. The cashier was super nice and everything from what I seen was super clean! Bathroom play areas etc. A kid peed on the floor area and the cashier got on it so quick and cleaned it up right away. It was so much fun! We organized our 3yr old daughter's birthday here and could not be happier. We were looking for options which would appeal to both boys and girls and different age groups and Kidtopia was it !! My daughter and her friends had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it. We got a total of 3hrs in Kidtopia , 2hrs of play and one hour of the room(2B) for cake cutting and food. We really wished we could get the room for some more time , as 1 hour was a little rush-rush for us. But we were happy with the services provided.
