The only consignment shop in the area to carry Rick and Ann D and a plethora of less "namey" but truly luxury Italian and Japanese brands. The prices are more than fair if you understand what you're looking at. Its where I go to find truly special pieces, and the folks behind the counter are always sweet and helpful, always accommodating but never upselling. Quite expensive for regular brands and the selection of designer items are quite dated and many are not authentic.. my assistant asked for authentication and they were blocked... my assistant, who happens to work for Louis Vuitton, asked a question about have the boots were authenticated them what their name was, and the rude owner could not even reply ... many of my clients have purchased items I've tried to get them authenticated with no luck read more

Great staff and wonderful designer pieces to choose from. Prices are still pretty steep though. As an example: I bought an Ethyl brand long, black, sleeveless vest with lace inlay for $150. I went home and searched and found it on the Ethyl website new for $125. I'm usually a better thrifter and know to research brands before I buy one I'm not familiar with. This was a good reminder to keep up that practice. read more

The woman working there is very sweet, but I won't be going back (unless I hit the lottery). I'm a goodwill kinda gal.... Felt surprised to find the poor review on Yelp. This is a small nice place that you could find fine high end designer brand pieces in an affordable price. I adore the jacket I found yesterday and will defiantly visit again! The staff did a really great job organizing things and due to their 60 days rotate system, their products are changing constantly. Most importantly, I think they have similar taste as mine, so I don't have to worry wasting time finding things I like. read more

I'm a consignment junkie. The store is strictly luxury and is expertly curated for the hip and happening 50+ liberal elitest newton women that shop there. I felt like I was judged and profiled by the staff there. The merchandise is so ridiculously overpriced. Some younger fresher faces as employees and "younger" clothes would really improve this place. read more

I love this place! This small, unassuming consignment store is home to some really unique, high-end designers. My absolute favorite shoes, boots, dresses and belts come from Kiki D. Many of the pieces are like new but sell at a fraction of their retail prices, and Beth (the owner) uses her artistic eye to style some amazing outfits for her customers... she's definitely upped my game! read more

I travel and whether in North America or further away, this is my first choice on where to find beautiful clothes. It is especially good for women in smaller sizes who like classics with a twist. These are fashions that will stay current for years, brands that are often fashion- forward. My daughter worked there while in college and I'd often pick her up at closing on Saturday and it was an expensive proposition for me; I would always find something I couldn't live without! Many of the designs can't be found anywhere in Boston--perhaps in NYC and in Europe and I love the unique flavor. It's small but oh, are the clothes, shoes and accessories special. I have found everyone at this store super friendly and helpful! When I dropped off some items to sell the owner Beth quickly reviewed everything and explained how things worked. Within a week or two I even received a check in the mail for items that had sold. I couldn't believe it was that quick! When I have had the time I've shopped and picked up some great designer jeans, a cute jacket and two pairs of shoes. Everything was in great condition and reasonably priced. I have been a customer for years; while I live in Toronto now, during my monthly trips home, I always make a stop at Kiki's. The selection is wonderful, it changes all the time. The clothes are consistently high quality and extremely wearable, priced extremely well. If I am looking for something specific, Beth has a great eye and a gentle touch. She keeps me looking fresh and stylish, feeling comfortable. How happy was I when I heard that Beth Kurson had opened a consignment store! I have been a huge fan of her custom designed jewelry, which she now showcases in the store. I brought Beth a good selection of clothing that I could no longer use. She took most of my items to consign. Beth explained very nicely why she could not take the other few items, which made perfect sense to me. I am happy to say that my clothes have been selling really well. I can also tell you that I have found incredible things there for myself and for my daughter. Beth has an amazing eye and her careful selection of consignors clothing makes it a pleasure to shop. As an avid consignment shopper from Boston to the suburbs I was thrilled to stumble upon Kiki D. I found the merchandise to be of top quality with a variety of higher end and more moderate designers all in excellent condition. I bought the most amazing Chanel bag and the price was absolutely fair. Clearly Kiki is very fussy about the merchandise she sells!! I have purchased so many beautiful things in my first few visits. The staff was very pleasant and truly honest which is something you don't always find.. On my last visit I didn't purchase any clothing but walked out with a beautiful bracelet that was custom made by the owner. Such a wonderful store and I can't wait until my next visit. read more

This store opened in May 2011 and I it is the best consignment shop in the city, by far!!! The owner, Beth, has such great taste and she has created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The store is bright and cheerful and B eth is always helpful. I have been there many times to consign and to buy. I have found some incredible deals on high end fashion there. I usually got to NYC (or the Closet on Newbury St) for my high-end fix, but discovered this about a year ago in the 'burbs and love it. Great selection of cutting edge (ie: Owens, Wang, etc.), but a fair amount of more pedestrian stuff, which, I suppose, is to be expected given that it's Newton Centre. I will say that I have found some fun, quirky stuff--some of which looks like its brand new from Alan Bilzerian down the street. The owner is sweet and willing to working prices if she sees you really dig the piece. read more

Inventory really doesn't chance much which is super disappointing. Whatever does come in they show in the window. Some items are reasonable priced and some are overpriced. Have been told different prices by different people for same item. All sales final. Not thrilled at all. The jewelry line they carry is WAY too overpriced for what it is. I'm a veteran consignment store shopper, and I have to say that Kiki D. is my favorite local resale destination. The selection is mostly high end (fantastic mix of known designers and more exclusive, edgy brands) but most of the items are priced on a markdown schedule--and the sale rack is glorious. I've bought some things here that were a splurge for me, but still an excellent deal, and some that were total steals. The store is always clean and well organized, and the staff is friendly; I've always felt well taken care of. You never know what you'll find here, so I try to stop in whenever I can. Some of the other consignment stores have a lot of big box store brands (J.Crew, Banana Republic) while Kiki really focuses on the high end labels and more boutique offerings. read more
