Had such a great experience at Lava Lounge! The tiki cocktails were so fun and delicious--perfect for the Waikiki vibe. A huge shoutout to our server, Duke, who made the experience even better. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. The atmosphere is relaxed and beachy, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Would definitely come back for the drinks, the vibe, and the amazing service!

What better place to get a specialty drinks than the Lava Lounge. They're open late, have that speakeasy meets tiki bar vibe, and our bartender was Duke! He was a great conversation talking about drinks, local eats, and other things. They also sell collector glasses like the sweet fishbowl glass we brought home. If you like fancy cocktails like smoked drinks, drinks with flowers/umbrellas, or fishbowls, this is the place for you.

A spontaneous night turned into one of the most memorable nights of our week long trips in Hawaii! We were greeted by the lovely Cortney who made us feel at home right away. She provided us complimentary rum shots as part of a tradition of "welcoming us into her home." She set the tone for the night and we could NOT stop talking to her. We even came back another time during our trip just for Cortney (and the drinks made by her of course). We ordered the Finding Dory and the Maui Pineapple Sour, along with the Krakatoa Chicken and fries. To top it off, we ordered the Pineapple Crème Brûlée, which was to die for! A must to visit when in Hawaii to try their drinks and befriend Cortney, which made us feel like Ohana.

The food was delicious! The service from Cortney was exceptional!! The ambiance and music playing was perfect. I must emphasize that Cortney was amazing, and provided us with the most amazing service I've experienced. Id come back to Hawaii just for her. I will be returning EVERY TIME we come to Oahu. Overall 100000/10 would recommend to everyone.

The blue dory drink was the hit. Their take on a Bkue Hawaiian, it was served in a fun glass and was nicely balanced and not overly sweet. Our bartender Mikey was great--he managed serving food, making drinks, and entertaining the 12- seat bar by himself, a one-man show of great hospitality. He chatted with each of us, gave us tips on visiting the islands, and was an all-around good host. Instead of cocktail nuts with your drink, they served us some delicious fried dumplings. It's not the hidden bar we thought it would be when we made a reservation. But it was a nice little corner of the Tiki's scene, with SHAG prints on the wall and comfortable stools.

Stopped by for drinks because they looked gorgeous. Known for their speciality cocktails, which are so unique and almost too pretty to drink. It was so hard to narrow down to just one to try out, especially because the drinks were quite expensive. Bartender was friendly and welcoming, although there isn't much seating at the bar and it is a noisier restaurant. Overall, given the atmosphere and price, I'm not sure if I'd come back.

Omg I loved this little place!!! I honestly ate in the restaurant first bc I didn't realize this was kind of part of the restaurant but really not lol...I found it on my way out and the bartender made me feel very welcome, unlike in the restaurant, he even gave me tips on places I shld chk out since I was on vacation alone. All of his drinks were beautiful definitely artwork ....and they were delish!!! I wanted to go again before heading home but I was too tired and needed to pack. Hopefully in the future I can visit again....

    Finding Dory!

Cortney made our experience 10/10! So nice chatting and making really great cocktails. Definitely wanted to stay longer and vibes were the best.

Courtney provided A+ service and the bar bites were excellent! The flatbread and Smokey drinks were great too!

This is a hidden gem inside of the Tiki Bar and Grill. You can make reservations on resy ahead of time or drop by it is open seating. The lounge has been open since August 2024. They have live music playing throughout the evening. We came here on a Friday night and had such an amazing time. Mikey was our bartender and he was awesome. He was so kind and attentive i can tell he truly cares about his patrons. The cocktails were so good. My husband and i really enjoyed the Finding Dory. Definitely come check this place out if you are visiting waikiki!!

We went for a Mai Tai making class and it was amazing! Austin was our instructor and he was great. Super informative and has a great passion for what he does. Made us feel very welcome! Would definitely do it again.

The Pele's Whisper (not usually served in the fish glass) and the Night Marcher.

Okay, so when we first got there it was a little underwhelming but then we met our bartender Aaron who was just amazing and created a real atmosphere in such a tiny area. He helped us make great drink choices, chatted with us and laughed at our corny jokes, but also provided us with great local stories. As my husband says, he was a "cool cat." The food and drinks were excellent. We had a fun time and felt welcomed. Mahalo for the Aloha!

To my surprise, on a Sunday evening after having dinner nearby at Maze, my wife and I walked over to Bar Leather Apron and we were able to get seated right away! In fact, around 7:30 p.m. when we stopped by, there was actually a ton of seating available in the bar. Who would've guessed. If you're in the same boat as me and are unable to find a reservation for your upcoming visit, I would encourage you to stop by and try a walk-in. The first page of the menu lists a wide variety of whiskey based cocktails. Most -- if not all, of the cocktails are pre-fixed with BLA (Bar Leather Apron), and represent a collaboration with the named distillery. If you're fan of whiskey, you'll definitely have a difficult time picking only one. I ultimately ordered their "Take Warning" -- 2021 BLA Knob Creek BLA Single Barrel, Cynar, Carpano Antica, Mezcal, Bergamot Salt. Drinks here are not cheap -- averaging $20 to $25 per drink. Although my drink was very spirit forward, it still felt very well balanced. I appreciated the hint of smokiness from the mezcal that rounded out the end of a sip. Service here quick and friendly. When we received the check, a cute small chocolate snack was brought over as well, borrowed from the menu at Maze. Overall, I can see why Bar Leather Apron has earned so many accolades in its field. Definitely worth a stop by if you enjoy the art of mixology.

I can't say enough great things about the service we had at Tiki's. To drink, I had a Lava Flow (I had to) and my husband had the most delicious Painkiller - it even came with an actual syringe of rum to add to it, which he loved. I would go back for the Painkiller alone! For food, we shared a kalua pork quesadilla - very tasty - and their house salad which had a delicious passion fruit dressing and mandarin slices which was really refreshing. We wanted a nice light lunch and this hit the spot. Highly recommend Tiki's if you are in Waikiki and want a relaxing meal with a great view and terrific service!! Ask for Lucy!
