Filet Mignon Steak and scallops

Service was good. We loved our hibachi cook, he was so fun. Food was delicious. I got the filet and scallops. Good drink menu but could have some more app options.

I should have listened to the reviews. First time and last time at this place. We had a reservation and were sat at our reserved time, so I was impressed based on other reviews. Until we sat there watching everyone to eat and an hour later our chef came out. Soup tasted like water and everyone pushed it away. Salad was meh. Everyone in our party complained about how overcooked and dry our food was. Our chef was also boring as hell and kept saying the same words over and over as if he was funny. Couldn't wait for it to end to be honest. It's beautiful inside but they need to step it up with food quality and taste. I've also never been to a hibachi that only does broccoli and zucchini for your veggies. Like what the hell?

Surprised to see all of the low reviews. We have been going every December for a few years now. The food is always consistently good. The chef interaction is on par and the service is efficient and friendly. We went last night and all requests and allergy issues were accommodated. The food was exceptionally tasty. The only one gripe was the soft shell crab roll was flavorless. However, the Alaska and Godzilla were amazing. Everyone also enjoyed their hibachi meals. 6 adults, 4 kids, lots of drinks and dessert and the whole bill after tax and tip was $684

Always a wonderful time. Great food. Great service. Love the atmosphere. Came home with leftovers. Big portions!

Amazing food and our chef was soooo entertaining!!! Always a great vibe!!! Celebrated my sons 21st birthday

My hibachi experience at Kiku was pretty good. Our chef was really nice and fun, and our servers were attentive. I'd say our food was a bit on the saltier side the whole night. However, the portion size was huge! I had a lot of leftovers to take home for another meal. The restaurant itself looks nice. Space is a little tight at each grill, and sometimes the noise of other grills can be overpowering. Overall though, great time!

I came here to celebrate a friends birthday. I made a reservation a day in advance and was able to get a table at the time I wanted. Once we arrived we were seated immediately. Quality:The food is made fresh in front of you which is always a nice experience. The shrimp and the noodles were my favorite Price: The pricing is average $25-30 depending on which is your main entree (shrimp, salmon, chicken). I think the price is fair considering you get soup, rice, noodles, and vegetables. Overall it's nice to come here from time to time. However, I wouldn't recommend coming here for a birthday as they don't do anything special like other restaurants would.

This is my new favorite sushi spot. The food is immaculate! I have yet to have a dish I didn't…read morelike. The only time I was like "meh" was when I had the matcha latte (3/5). Speaking of the food, let's get into it. Mango Avocado Roll: Refreshing and Delicious. This was a great appetizer to my poke bowl. Oasis Poke Bowl: This was deliciously refreshing as well, however it doesn't come with any sauce. I asked for a side of teriyaki which made everything better; elevated the entire bowl. Surf N Turf: I will order this moving forward as my go-to roll. The beef was cooked to perfection and paired perfectly with the salmon. This roll itself filled me up, I thought I was going to order something else but I was done after that. Salmon and Shrimp Teriyaki: My partner gets this each time and I am always so excited to throw my fork into his plate. The teriyaki sauce here is so tasty, I want to put it on everything! The salmon and shrimp are also cooked super well, no chewiness here. Great amount of crisp on the salmon, the way it slides onto the fork is beautiful to watch. Vegetable Gyoza: The star of the show!! Best appetizer they have truly. I was so sad when there was no more. But thankful to have been able to experience such a great starter. Sweet Potato Roll: (Not pictured) The roll was ok, I liked it but felt like it was missing something. Maybe I would have liked it if it was Korean sweet potatoes. I won't order again because the menu is so extensive I can't limit myself to something I thought was ok. (4/5) Overall, Shokudo is a fantastic place to eat. It's truly an experience. The music is amazing and not overbearing, the ambiance is beautiful and there's multiple conversation pieces. What I love about looking at the items in the restaurant is how they go from traditional to contemporary. The servers were the sweetest, they all were extremely hospitable. All I can say is, I'll be back and if you go... you may see me there.

We ordered a sushi combo and substituted the spicy tuna roll for a regular tuna roll. We were told…read morethis would cost an extra $2.00, which I thought was odd since the spicy tuna roll is usually more expensive than the regular one-- but fine. When the combo came out, it still had the spicy tuna roll. We sent it back, and the waiter returned to tell us that it would actually be an additional $2.00 because we changed it to a regular tuna roll. Not wanting to argue, I just said "OK," but I definitely wasn't happy. I also ordered the chicken teriyaki, which was rubbery and didn't taste like any teriyaki I'm used to. Our appetizer never came, and when we asked about it, all the waiter could do was apologize. At that point, that was all they could offer.

Not going to blow you away, but as good as you would expect your sushi rolls to be ++++ Sushi/Sashimi Combo arrived in a boat and all of the sushi, sashimi were super fresh. ++++ Chicken Udon was one of the best udons we ever had at one of these local Japanese restaurants! Soup was great, udon was great, there was plenty of vegetables inside and the chicken was verrrrry tender and tasty. ++++ A complimentary vanilla ice cream was served at the end of our meal. + The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The food arrived fairly quickly. + There are plenty of parking spaces in the private lot of this little strip mall. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - The menu prices are a bit on the high side for everything and it would be nice if things were $1-$2 cheaper like some other local Japanese restaurants. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Restaurant is tight inside, with not a lot of walking space, and there aren't many tables, but there is a cozy feel to it.

We ordered the tofu bao buns, shrimp bao buns, karaage, curry, and dessert - the bao buns were OK, but the karaage, curry, and dessert were delicious. They have the BEST bingsoo. We tried the crème brûlée bingsoo and it was amazing - not too sweet, not overly large, just the perfect size. I've tried many different bingsoos, and this one is hands down my favorite. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have discovered this place if it weren't for the Yelp Elite event, and I'm so glad I did. I'll definitely be back to try their ramen next time. Service was good, though a little slow at times even when it wasn't very busy. The space itself is huge and very roomy. One thing to note: during the winter it can get quite chilly inside since the restaurant is right next to the entrance doors - we ended up wearing our coats the entire time. To the owner: please bring back the tofu and shrimp tacos with the green sauce because they were amazing!
