We love it here! Quiet, beautiful atmosphere with few tables for an intimate dinner. It is BYOB which is nice too. The fish always tastes fresh, and we also love the yellowtail carpaccio appetizer and their fried rice is out of this world! Their kitchen entrees are pretty limited if you don't like sushi.

Always such an amazing time! We either order takeout or dine-in at this restaurant at least once a week! The specialty rolls are amazing definitely try the Amazing Roll next time you stop in. The sushi/shashimj boat is such a good deal where you get a soup, salad, and the boat! Definitely one of the best sushi places in the area, will be coming back ever soon! The service is always amazing and the inside of the restaurant is very clean and comfortable!

A+. From beginning to end- a really great experience. Great friendly, attentive staff. Beautiful service ware. Impeccably styles food. And don't you just know that everything was delectable? I didn't love the tuna pizza but everything else was above and beyond. PS: love the tea cups

Solid neighborhood sushi restaurant with good service and friendly staff. The restaurant is not super big and has a cozy feel to it. We came for lunch and the lunch specials range from $10-$15. The sushi and sashmi we had were fresh and tasty. I definitely want to come back again and try their other menu offerings.

Simply fresh and delicious Sushi every time! Clean, beautiful decorated, great service. It's BYOB and the only down side is that they take no reservations and you must wait for a table. They should take reservations...our only suggestion.

I have gotten takeout from Sakura 6 times now within the year. It's always on time and they have a great variety of items. I either get the sushi for two or last night I got the maki spicy combo. Their wasabi shumai is great too.

I've been coming here on and off for about ten years now and each time really enjoy myself. The service is always prompt and friendly, and the rolls are teeming with fresh fish. Gyoza are excellent, as are the bento boxes. Their tuna roll is one of the best in the area. Went here most recently the Friday before mother's day and it was packed.

I stopped in for an impromptu lunch since I was in the area for work. I ordered two rolls, Spicy Salmon and the Sakura Roll. The rolls are deceptively filling, I probably should've gotten two regular rolls instead of a special and a regular, but you live and you learn. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I felt their special rolls were a tad over priced. I've been to a number of other sushi locations in the area and I would've pegged their Sakura Roll as more $16-17 rather than $19; there was seafood in the roll but for 2 shrimp and some lobster I wasn't overly impressed. Their spicy salmon roll was very competitively priced at $6.5 and I would've expected to pay $7-8 for it. All in all DELICIOUS sushi and I will be back

Well the decor and the upscale of this restaurant is nice I can't see the same for the food very disappointed with lukewarm soup salad barely had anything on it and the dressing was terrible the sprite we had gotten taste like bleach no joke. It literally was still burning my mouth after i had shared it with my wife. She had told me to try it. On top of that the food started to taste the same way the chicken catch you seem very old and the sushi was known any better would not recommend coming here at all. I imagine all the good all the reviews from this restaurant were, another reason i was here, I'm extremely disappointed. Will not be returning, went to another sushi place and didnt taste like this, nice to know it wasnt me.

The best sushi we have ever had. So fresh and tasty. I am totally thrilled and cannot wait to go back.

The interior was spacious, and actually had two connected dining rooms with plenty of seating. The ambiance was casual but pleasant. For drinks, it was BYOB, so my parents brought their own beer and wine, and Masa provided the glassware. For food, I started with the Salmon Tartar, which was fresh and very tasty. The portion size was large enough to share between a few people. I also tried some of my brother's T.Y.S. Sashimi, which we really liked - great cuts of fish. The Wasabi Octopus was a unique dish, but the wasabi flavor was a bit too strong for me. For my entree, I chose the Spring Scallops off the specials menu. While I'd never seen a roll like this before, I can't say I was obsessed. The scallops were tasty, but the spring roll inside of the sushi rice was a little strange. My family enjoyed the rest of their items, including the Crazy Roll (very large portion size), Nabeyaki Udon (one of our favorites), Spicy Salmon Roll, Negihama, Yellowtail Sashimi, and Eel Sushi. Service was fast and friendly! Overall solid for dinner - would return.

It's an intimate spot with only four teppanyaki tables, and we were seated promptly. My family has been going to hibachi for over 50 years to celebrate special occasions, so we know what to expect. Unfortunately, this visit was a total letdown. As is standard, we shared a table with another party--a family with three kids. Right away, there were red flags: the kids were hyped up on candy, spilling things, and spreading out so much that I was repeatedly bumped into and forced to eat off the edge of the table. Management and servers saw this unfolding but never intervened, even though they clearly knew the family. Then came our cook, "Chef John," and things went further downhill: Complete Lack of Engagement: Wearing a baseball cap instead of proper chef attire, Chef John spent the entire meal chatting with the other family (who were clearly regulars) while ignoring us like we weren't even there. No Showmanship: Teppanyaki is about the experience-- jokes, knife tricks, tossing shrimp, flipping eggs. Chef John did nothing beyond a single, basic onion volcano. Bland & Poorly Executed Food: The food lacked real flavor--no ginger or garlic, just heavy salt, pepper, and soy sauce. The steaks were hit-or-miss (the ribeye was moist, but the filet had dry sections), and seafood wasn't cut into bite-sized pieces for chopsticks. Order Snafu & Arguing: All three of us ordered steak and shrimp combos. He served full shrimp portions to two of us, but gave the third person only an appetizer portion. When we brought up the mistake--despite him confirming orders earlier--it turned into an uncomfortable debate over whether she was "entitled" to the rest of her meal. We eventually got the missing shrimp, but the damage was done. Between the chaotic table dynamic that staff ignored, zero entertainment, bland food, and having to argue for the food we ordered, it ruined a birthday celebration. I seriously doubt that we will be returning.

I grew up spoiled off of the well-rounded juggernaut named Jumbo of Airmont who did EVERYTHING well. Iykyk sista. Red Bowl couldn't even fry their rice. Could never chicken their broccoli. Wouldn't dare to lace their lo mein. Which is a shame, because sometimes you want a dynamic dinner of all the above: Chinese and sushi and thai but oh my the sharks out of the water here. These fusion factories often pry on the weak families who can't decide between the three, but it's clear as a mist-less day... they whiff hard at the tee.
