Being married to a Turk, we like to try Turkish places whenever we are travelling so based on the positive reviews, we thought we'd give this place a try. It's in a lovely location overlooking a marina and we had a seat right by the window so that was nice. We started with drinks (strong!) and a sausage and cheese stuff puff pastry which was nice. I had the mixed shish with rice and salad which I enjoyed. There was a white sauce and a red sauce to go with the various chicken and meat kebabs. The red sauce was surprisingly spicy so be careful. It was good...just spicy. Service was nice, although the manager was doing all the serving, bussing and closing checks by himself. He was hustling all night! He mentioned that some of the other workers had returned to Turkiye to help with recovery from the earthquake. Phenomenal meal at Kilikya's while on holiday with my wife in London. We found this location for dinner after touring London Tower and couldn't have been happier. Appetizer of falafel and entrees of Moussaka and chicken koufe were excellent. Also had a great Manhattan cocktail. Can't recommend it enough for phenomenal Turkish food. read more

As we walked over to look at the menu, a staff member came over to see if we wanted to be seated. There were a few menu items that looked good and the location is amazing. Well, that is the most amount of attention we got. We had to keep waving to order drinks, then to order food and finally for the check and to total us out. We were going to stay for entrees and another round of drinks but decided to go next door where the service was better. As the-staff member was outing down the check, he pointed out that service is not included and asked if we would like to leave a tip. Left 10% cash, which is low for me. We found this cosy spot on a cold rainy night and enjoyed it so much that we ate there twice during our stay in London. It's located on St. Katherine's Docks so you get a view of the water and fancy yachts as you eat homemade Turkish food that is delicious. The proprietor made us feel welcome and gave us attentive service even when it was busy with a large party in progress. This little place is a gem! read more

Flew and at nearby hotel and discovered this Turkish establishment while having lunch with a friend. The food was excellent especially over a pint and the service was excellent as well. However, I came back twice for dinner during that my stay and that is where my experiences with them were . The place is small seating is limited but both times I got seated by the window n the hostess recommended a now favorite drink with two different lamb dishes. Both were Excellent lamb chop and lamb Iskender. Both were excellent choice as I don't frequently order lamb dishes but the taste and flavor were delicious as well as the gin n tonic drink. Finished off both with desert n the service was excellent n attentive even when they were busy. Ambience was wonderful with people/party loud n laugher while enjoying their meal. I was seated indoors due to chilly weather and enjoyed my time. I will bring back my family n friends especially for dinner and hope the warm hostess and establishment are there. read more

The food was good, but the service was disappointing. The server/host never greeted us at the "Please wait to be seated" sign, so we walked up to the bar after several minutes to get a table. Then, after the host/server took our drink order, we saw that was because he was actually eating at a table with a group of friends. He also told us the bartender would take our order when he brought our drinks out---didn't happen, so the server/host was probably told, "No, do your job", and he then sat back down at his table, and, while speaking a language I couldn't understand, repeated our drink order in English and afterward made another comment, which resulted in the rest of the table laughing loudly. So, food, yeah, fine, but being mocked five feet away by the server under the cover of another language, not great. Maybe try somewhere else? read more

First time for me in a Turkish restaurant in London. The restaurant itself is pretty small but they have outdoor seats, nearby the small "harbor" in St Katerine docks (which looks pretty romantic during Summer). The staff members were really friendly and nice but the service was really long (NOTE: we were a table of 13 people...Might be different for smaller groups) The food was delicious ! We ordered different dishes to share :stuffed vine leaves, aubergine with yogurt, hummus served with pita bread, falafel, Chicken Kebab, Lamb Kebab and grilled seabass. Everything was really tasty and good but, even if the dishes don't look that big, the meals are really fulfill! The prices are a bit high but the quality is great We had a great time there and I recommend this place to enjoy Turkish food served by nice people and a very beautiful area (St Katerine docks makes me feel like on holidays) read more

My boyfriend and I came to London on a Friday night from out of town--actually, from out of the country and wanted a decent dinner although it was getting late. We chose Kilikya because we had never tried Turkish food before and it would be open until midnight, awesome! When we got there, the manager (or what looked like the manager) greeted us and told us we would only be able to choose starters and simple mains for the chef to cook since they were closing in an a little over hour... Okay?? Sucky. But sure. That would never fly in America. We got our food--£6.95 Halloumi Cheese starter and the suggested £16.95 Chicken Shish dish and £23 Lamb Shish dish that the manager suggested since they were the most simple for the cooks to compile with over an hour left before close....(rather disappointing that we couldn't try something more different than the usual Mediterranean/Greek food that we have already tried in USA.) Anyway, food was pretty good. Therefore 3 stars. Not 5 because -- 1) they didn't even honor the 15% discount that's supposed to be given when someone checks in on Yelp. Gave some phony excuse that they don't offer it on weekends and that it was Saturday (when it was actually Friday that we dined there). Cool thanks, there goes your tip! :) -- basically if you go here, don't expect your yelp check-in offer to work. False advertisement. And 2) limited menu with over an hour left before close...and with added pressure to leave 30 min before they close by standing there near your table and watching you eat so they could press the bill on you and watch as you pay. Wtf?? Lol again, wouldn't fly in America. Maybe that's OK in England restaurant customer service, but I'm sure not used to it and am not here long enough to want to get accustomed to it.. Wouldn't come back even if the food was good. I'm all about good food AND decent to good customer service. That didn't hit the bar for the latter. read more

Really good service and food! Definitely would recommend and come again(: We had the falafels and mixed grill, so good!

We went to this place for a breakfast/brunch. We ordered the mixed Meza which costed nearly 30£. - It consists of a ridiculously small amount of food and that has got nothing special from quality perspective. - The basket of bread is even more ridiculous with 4 small pieces of pita bread clearly coming from a supermarket and microwaved. - As we asked for more bread, we actually got charged for it, for 2.50 while it is worth than less 30p and should come free with the meza anyway. - The Prosecco is cheap and tastes like sewage. - The Turkish coffee is very weak. It is basically hot water with a little taste of coffee in it. - Finally, when we asked for tap water, the waiters tried to trick us more than once to get overpriced small bottles of still water. It is a bit a of shame because this place used to be decent. I can understand that people are having a hard time with the coronavirus. However, treating customers in this way will not help, since although they would take the hit once but they will never come back. There are other much better Mediterranean places in the area. read more

A quirky Turkish deli/cafe, with a delicious range of stuff, both sweet and savoury. They do Turkish tea in the little glasses like you get in Turkey, and a range of Borek (cheese, beef and spinach). Wonderful, to-die-for poppy seed cake moist and perfumed flavour, it's perfection. Also do a range of normal coffees and teas. A great pit stop, and in good weather there are tables and chairs outside overlooking the dock and all the boats. Give the St****cks a miss, and go here instead. read more

Just had the best lamb shank ever. I'm turkish food addicted and usually I go for kofte or grilled meat. This time I was suggested to try Incik and definitely it was a great choice. I used to come to Kilikya's for tea and cakes and enjoy the view over St Katherine's Dock, now I have one more reason to come back! read more

Being from a Turkish background its very hard to find a Turkish restaurant that satisfies my needs. Kilikya is by far the best restaurant I've eaten in. Amazing staff, amazing owners who also were working hard in the restaurant a must-visit restaurant with a warm, friendly, family environment with a calm peaceful vibe by the docks. The prawns were wonderful, along with the Iskander and Baklava. You have to visit Kilikya if you live in or visit London you will not be disappointed one bit. read more

My brother took me to this place when I visited London and I have to say it was one of the best and most authentic Turkish restaurants I have ever visited. Went here last night with a big group. Some of us are from America and our London family members set up this place to eat dinner. Authentic Turkish cuisine indeed! We had a few sharing plates to start which were extremely flavorful! The service was immaculate and very attentive. We all got different entrees. Had Kilikya's Special. As a menu item that bears the restaurant's name, it was a disappointment. Chicken and lamb patties served on soggy bread sitting on tomato sauce did not impress me a bit. This was such a great experience. The food was amazing staff was very friendly, and the setting couldn't be better. Even my 9 year old daughter (with very picky tastes) loved her meal. I had the Chicken Iskender Kebap, which had one of the most flavorful tomato based sauce. The Baklava was fresh with decadent helping of crushed pistachios. I have visited it recently and I am not very impressed. The main waiter struggles to understand English so you have to keep repeating every single sentence. They did not show us the set menu lunch - affordable but instead showed us the very expensive one - maybe they thought we were the tourists so it would not make any difference - not worth spending so much money. read more
