TLDR: I don't blame the food, even if it comes cold, but the poorly trained staff and crew that make this location atrocious. I used to go to Killer Burgers location in the Hollywood district of Portland every once and a while and always have a great experience with good food at a fast reliable time frame. The bun was toasty and the food was warm. And even if packed I never waited more than 10 minutes for a burger. This location, is quite the opposite. I ordered my food and waited, the cashier said it would be 20-25 minutes for my burger which was to be expected at a newer location still in the honeymoon phase of its opening here in Gresham. I sat and waited....and waited...and waited. I looked around to notice 70% of the patrons were also waiting, as well as to go people waiting. After 10 minutes of waiting I still hadn't seen a single burger leave the kitchen. Not one French fry or burger had gone to a customers table. This kept on until at 4 lucky people and 1 to go order was ready. And then the rest of the 20 people still without food waited. After 50 minutes, my food finally arrived and what I saw was disappointing. They got the order wrong, giving me a classic over a Fun Guy, but I didn't want to wait again and there was so price difference so I dug in. It was cold. The bun was not toasted. The saucy lettuce had wilted badly and has soaked into the bottom bun making it a messy disaster. I tried a fry, cold. I was in disbelief. I will try again in a few months when the workers have had ample time to get a good system going, but, for now, I suggest you go anywhere else. read more

I decided to try this place yesterday... Ordered a Fun Guy (Bacon, Swiss Cheese, Mushrooms, Pickles, House Sauce) but I asked the person taking the order that they do not put pickles or the House Burger sauce on it. The guy repeated "so you don't want the pickles or the Burger sauce?, Cool". When I received my order.. there were no pickles on my burger.. .but there was so much house sauce on the burger that you could not hardly taste any other ingredient.. Gross, gross, gross! Our second try. Benefit of the doubt. I only ate my burger because i hadnt eaten all day. The sauce they use is terribly salty, the fries were hard and guess what? Super salty.. the bacon gag!!! Seriously salty. Im going to puff up from alll the sodium. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone with a low sodium diet. Didnt feel up to telling them it was gross, employees were scarce at the 3pm hour. 2 went for a smoke break and the others wee scarce. The tables are hardly being bussed and the music is TERRIBLE! bang your head against a wall and dont come back again! I've been to this location multiple times with my boyfriend. One time we had the best peanut butter burger but every time since then it's been overloaded with the peanut butter sauce. My experience each time was awful, poor service, and long wait times. I have tried other burgers too but they are all of equally poor quality. I enjoyed the one downtown the first time I tried Killer Burger and this was the first time trying the Gresham one, which was disappointing to say the least. The place was packed and had one person cooking, it took forever not to mention they are filling phone orders at the same time. The fries were overcooked and awful and to top it off, whether it was from the burger or not (which was different from my son's and mine), my daughter got horribly sick and puked multiple times afterwards. You need a better order ahead way then just calling the location. I tried to call 3 different times today to order a burger on the way home for my fiancé and was constantly sent to voicemail. I had to in and sit and wait for his burger to be made before i could go home. I wish you had an order online app or someone else other then the register person taking phone orders. The burgers are good if you have no where to go and nothing else to do and can just sit and eat. Then again during winter and in Oregon I will not do it again.
