Wish they offered non pork option is the only complaint. I prefer turkey or chicken links. They do have vegetarian meat option though. everything was warm, comforting, and satisfying. The cozy atmosphere was one of my favorite parts: great lighting, clean space, and we could actually hear each other talk without shouting. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, which made it even better. After brunch, we walked around Edgefield and enjoyed the gardens and scenery it turned a simple meal into a full, relaxing outing. Definitely a great spot for a cozy brunch.

The Edgefield is right at the top of these favorites, and the Black Rabbit is a great spot for any meal at any time of day you choose. Service is always top-notch, and I've never had a meal here I didn't like. They have a great morning Bloody Mary that is garnished well enough to be a full breakfast. But for a less alcohol, alcoholic option, the menu overall is very good and I recommend you work your way through it. Given the restaurant chain's overall kitch , the ambience inside this restaurant is calm and welcoming but just funky enough to be fun. If you're staying here, eat here. If you're in the area, try it out. I'll be back the next time. I'm anywhere near Troutdale.

There's lots of different seating options. depending on your reason for visiting. They serve Sisters Coffee... definitely above average! All of the drinks are fairly priced. They also have a food menu with breakfast and lunch items. I tried the breakfast wrap and the peach salsa included was delicious! The service here is not fast. So... not a great option if you're in a hurry. But they seem to take their time in a way that meticulous and not inconsiderate. I did have to wait longer than expected, but without asking, the barista gave me a coupon for a free drink on my next visit for the inconvenience. Outstanding customer service! The bathrooms are clean. Parking is easy. And there's something undeniably comfortable about this atmosphere that's just right regardless of your mood. Check it out and plan your best visit when you're ready to relax and go with the flow. It will be very worth your while!

I was a bit disappointed by the limited menu and pastries and would love to see more exciting food options. Its quite basic fare on offer in that regard, nothing too gourmet or innovative. Still, one of the top cafes in and around PDX, offering a very cozy place to chat, work and/or grab a cup of good coffee! Def in my top 5 thus far!

So much art to look at, curiosities tucked in every corner, space to roam and explore! - Get the passport to make your stay even more rewarding and fun! I love the scavenger hunts and the stamps force you to do things you might not normally do on your own accord. - The full pitch and putt course is a relaxing and a fun way to spend a few hours. It was only $25 per person and took us 3 hours. - I signed up for the Makers Tour and highly recommend it! Lots of tastings and great historical facts along the way. - The soaking pools at night were perfect to relax muscles right before bed plus no kids after 8pm. - This hotel doesn't revolve around children. The movies that were showing were rated R and most of the pubs and pool hall are 21+. Kids are welcome - but I've never seen that many kids around which I like, personally. - It's very Dog Friendly!! - The live music is incredible. I've been here for big concerts on the lawn plus mini concerts down the winery hall. They were all amazing. - It can get noisy between 7-11pm especially in weekends! The building is old - not sure about insulation and things! Bring some earplugs, a positive attitude and maybe enjoy an extra drink! Or go during the week for a quieter experience. - The food is a bit pricey but if you are doing the passport it makes a little more sense. Some of my favorites are the Cajun Tots, Portland Dip, any Burger, and the Bagel and Lox Breakfast is Incredible!!!

The Highlights * The Saltwater Outdoor Pool: This was the absolute highlight of our stay. The water is kept at a perfect 38°C (100°F), making it incredibly relaxing. I highly recommend visiting after 8:00 PM when the pool becomes an 21+ area. * Thoughtful Details: The robes provided were high quality and very comfortable. Pro-tip: Be sure to bring flip-flops for the walk to and from the pool area. * Art & Dining: The murals throughout the hotel are fascinating to look at. We also had great experiences at the on-site bars and the Black Rabbit Restaurant, where both the food and the service were excellent. The Room & Stay Quality We specifically booked a room with a private bathroom and shower. However, most rooms at this location utilize communal facilities. Unfortunately, our room was located very close to the shared bathrooms and lavatories. Due to a complete lack of etiquette from other guests using those facilities, it was extremely noisy throughout the night. Because of the poor sleep quality and the noise levels, we likely won't be staying here again. It's a beautiful property, but the layout and noise issues made it difficult to fully enjoy our birthday celebration.

Stopped by this Le Petit Cafe counter inside of Troutdale Station recently…read more Troutdale Station is a food cart mall with about twenty food carts, a huge parking lot, and a central brick and mortar building with counters for drinks and snacks. One of said counters is a mini Le Petit Cafe. I ordered a marionberry macaron, and, wow. It's a serious contender for a new favorite. The cookie was crisp, light, and a bit airy. The dust on the shell was sour, while the creme filling was sweet. This gave eating it a similar experience to eating a freshly picked blackberry. Certainly one of the most creative macarons I've ever tried. It was a whole experience. I guess it was my lucky day, because as I was ordering, the Barista asked me if I wanted a complimentary coffee drink that had been made by accident. I don't even remember what it was called, but it was amazing. I think it was some kind of vanilla latte. I came back on a second occasion and ordered a 12 ounce caramel latte with a pistachio macaron. I loved the latte, but this time, the macaron was bad. It was so stale that I considered asking for a different flavor. Overall I loved the coffee but found everything to be a little high priced based on the quality. I would still stop by here for a coffee in the future because Troutdale Station has free wifi for customers, and this is the best coffee spot there that I know of.

That said, the food has some catching up to do. The complimentary bruschetta is a nice touch in concept but the execution falls flat. The bread is a basic sourdough with a thin, uneven drizzle of olive oil and herbs. Some pieces arrived nearly bare. A little more care and consistency here would go a long way. For my entrée I tried a salmon pasta special. The salmon itself had a lovely texture, which gave me hope but the sauce threw everything off. It was oddly sweet which clashed with what should have been a savory balanced dish. It's not bad enough to send back but it's not something I'd order again. Overall, this spot has a solid foundation with its friendly and efficient service. It was a pleasant enough experience but don't come with sky-high expectations for the plate.

The Caesar salad was literally a plate with some lettuce and dressing with mounds of Parmesan all over - no presentation, worse than cafeteria food. I was really excited for this meal and was disappointed and then violently ill. Never going back.
