Surprised by the menu selection, including vegan options and several flight options (like donuts, bacon, margaritas and others). The food was very good! Breakfast (3) put on our table already cold. Husbands was served with no silverware so even colder by the time he ate it. Offered to fill his coffee cup but didn't come back for 10 minutes. Me and my sister came to this biscuits cafe and they were closing pretty soon, we've recently went to other restaurants where we've had bad service. Today we got amazing service from our server " kaitlyn". She was super attentive and helpful also very patient with us as we figured out what we were going to eat. Neither of us felt like we were being rushed as we knew they were closing soon. Food was also amazing!! I would rate everything a 10/10. We also took some homeade jam with us. We visited Biscuits with some family and was impressed with the food and service. From the outside it doesn't seem very enticing with the location in a little strip of stores, but I was pleasantly surprised. We had biscuits and gravy and also French toast with hash browns. I honestly don't understand the low ratings on this restaurant. The food was delicious, I had the corned beef hash and biscuits breakfast and asked for my hashbrowns to be extra crispy. They took the time to cook it all right. The corned beef was truly corned beef that had been roasted, pulled and flat griddled with onions and potatoes. The hash browns were super crispy, the biscuits were soft and the strawberry preserves were incredibly yummy. So much food! Our server was stellar, kept our coffee and water filled, spoke with us about the horrible ice storm we had been dealing with, and was just overall awesome. Great place for breakfast!! Simple, nothing fancy, stick to your ribs good eats. I had the one biscuit and gravy, scrambled, bacon, extra crispy hash browns. Each item was well prepared. They have the option of "just burn my hash browns" crispy, and they let you know that it will take longer. Coffee was good and continuous. Service was great, super friendly and knowledgeable. Even though they decorated the space nicely, had coffee mugs and jams for sale, it didn't really feel like a breakfast place. Felt more like it was sandwich place, or pizza. No attention to me. No coffee warm up or water refill until I was finished with my breakfast. No check up if I needed anything. If they were busy fine. The chicken fried chicken was overcooked. Not the chicken part but the fried part. It had a light burnt taste. I don't like it that dark. The biscuits were fluffy but perhaps too large and missing that buttery flavor. I'm not saying this to be hater I do like this establishment but a few tweaks and this place could be even better. Even though the place is not big they have plenty of seating and are quick to sit you down. Staff is very friendly and welcoming especially the waitress's. The food is good as well. Only once we didn't like the potato's because they were undercooked. The staff one day was having a rough day and seemed annoyed with one another and you could feel tension but they didn't let that affect their attitude towards customers. read more

The meals are ample in size, and the service is okay, but the quality leaves some room for improvement. We would not recommend getting a salad here, as it will be mostly iceberg lettuce with some uninspired dressing regardless of the salad you get. What decent restaurant serves iceberg for a main salad. Yuck. The Benedict hollandaise sauce is quite thin and very bland, as well. We may be back, but never for anything but breakfast again. I love this place. Ive now been here more than I can count. I like ma and pa style (yes I know this is a chain but it doesn't really feel like it) diner type places. It's only open until 2:30 PM so know that... it's a classic breakfast brunch place. The coffee is fabulous and strong. It comes in a large cup too. They have flavored creams if you want it or regular cream. Their iced tea is also very good!!! My nephews love the hot chocolate... Service is always friendly and prompt. I've had many a morning meeting here before work... I love their bacon so I almost always order a side. Mom loves their specialty French toast (like berry or cinnamon roll French toast). I often get an egg with bacon just a la carte. Their chicken fried steak is pretty darn good. I didn't order it just had a bite. Biscuits are yummy although not huge. They're dense and good flavor. Their freezer jams are amazing!!!! They sell them at the front if you love them like me. Burgers are 1/2 pound which I like... as a carnivore lol they offer the impossible burger which I still haven't tried. Dad and I shared the Biscuits burger once and it was delicious!!! Split plates cost an extra $2.79 which is kinda disappointing but that's ok at least they tell you up front. Definitely let the server know what you want and they typically will accommodate substitutions etc.. There are quite a few locations around. Check one out when you get the chance. read more

My Breakfast was served Cold. We waited 20 minutes for a waitress and menus, we received drinks at 40 minute wait. We didn't receive the condiments we ordered, we waited with empty drinks for refills for 20 minutes while the waitresses gossiped and stood around not doing anything. The food came out Cold and the staff was not quick or friendly. The restaurant was mostly empty. The dining room was freezing cold and breezy. The portions were small, not very tasty. I will start by saying the waitress was wonderful and accommodating however the quality of food was low and price was high. Eggs Benedict came essentially hard boiled. Half the potatoes were crunchy and the spinach on the Benedict was noticeably a puck of frozen spinach tossed on near the end of cooking. It was a thick dense chunk you could tell came straight from a frozen bag. Im not necessarily against frozen spinach but done in this way for this price is odd. read more

Biscuits Cafe is one of my favorite places to eat breakfast in Gresham! For starters, this is some of the most friendly and attentive servers out there in the restaurant business. Someone is always stopping by to check up on you, the food and whether you need more water or coffee. Secondly, I'll say it.....I love that their coffee mugs are larger as I do drink a few cups of coffee on each visit. And lastly, I had the chicken and waffles this morning and it was flavorful. They have a good amount of variety on their menu and each time I've tried something different have been more than pleased with the meal. Great job BC! read more
