That rating is a lie. They have PPF listed on their website and they have no installers. Tint job came out garbage because it depends if/when their guys are available.. The only thing you'll get is a good car wash and ceramic. As explained by Josh, they're amateurs. Sure, My fault for overlooking that and giving them benefit of the doubt of being a professional shop. False advertisement by having stuff listed on their site but can't install it. They go together. If you don't have it because you can't install it then take it off your site. I was going for convenience and that's the price I paid instead of going to somewhere in town. When you have all these accolades from local ratings posted all over your site, what am I going to EXPECT? Don't go here, find somewhere that will take care of you. Yeah thanks for the offer on the free redo nobody wants a free do-over they want it done right the first time so I don't have to come back. Every other business out there understands that. On top of everything else, you try to blame me for your internal business issues. Because you don't know how to take a deposit from a customer to hold an appointment. These guys should change their name to Miracle Workers because that's what they did with my car. There are three things I look for in a company: excellent customer service, high quality products/results, and competitive prices. Some places cover one or two of those characteristics. If we're honest, there are those places that don't have any of those things. Josh and his crew and Killer Queen Detailing have all three! Excellent Customer Service This was my first experience using Yelp's feature that messages a handful of businesses with details about what I'm looking for and requesting an estimate. I didn't even know there's a messaging feature in Yelp. Killer Queen Detailing was the first to respond with a quote and a variety of options. I sent them pictures in order to show them the condition of my car. After messaging back and forth for a little bit, we figured out the best option for my vehicle. I noticed they were located in Kapolei and I live in Honolulu. Fortunately, they have an option where they come to you! There's a small fee, but that fee is waived with certain services. This was a great option for me because I work from home. I was blown away at how quick and easy it was to set up an appointment with them all through Yelp messaging. High Quality Products/Results I was very excited for my car to get a good detailing. It was in rough shape because I seldom did anything to take care of it. The paint was oxidized, headlights foggy, and there were some scuffs from my wife taking too tight of a turn in our parking garage. I told them not to worry about the scuffs because that's not what they signed up for. That's just naming a few of the things that revealed the poor condition. I told Josh that I didn't expect them to work miracles. He and his crew were very punctual, set up a pop up tent over my car, and got to work. About 3.5 hours later, they were done. I could not believe what they did to my 2009 Toyota Corolla. They took it from drab to fab! I don't remember the last time I saw it so shiny. Maybe when I bought it? It might've been more shiny and sparkly than when I bought it! The headlights were actually transparent again and the scuffs were basically nonexistent. The interior was the cleanest it has ever been. I couldn't believe how well they vacuumed. Somehow it smelled really good too. Here's the part that blew my mind the most: you know how you go to fill up gas and you open the gas tank and see how nasty it is? I just accepted that that part of my car would always be disgusting. No one sees it anyway, right? It looked brand spanking new! How was it possible to get all that gunk and nastiness off?! Josh and his crew are miracle workers. Plain and simple. I could not be more satisfied. Competitive Prices In my opinion, Josh and his crew aren't charging enough for their exceptional service. With that in mind, make sure to give them a nice tip. A few other detailing companies responded to my Yelp request. All were more expensive and many offered less services. You will not find a better deal on the island. I already have plans for the next time my car will get detailed by Josh and his crew. I had the pleasure of having a quick lunch with them. It's evident that Josh takes a lot of pride in what he does. On top of that, he sincerely cares for his customers. Stop searching for other detailing places! I'm not super into cars/my car so I honestly never imagined I'd be patronizing an auto detailing business, especially since I'm not a big beach person and my family doesn't have any pets. Unfortunately, earlier last week some groceries were left in my car and due to the amount of time they were left in there + the summer heat they rotted and the rotten vegetable juice went into my backseat, leaving behind an odor and stain. While the stain was just a secondary issue to me, the odor was a horrible and I needed it out. After attempting to get the smell out myself using some tips from the internet (white vinegar and baking soda) I was unsuccessful and very, very distraught. I shopped around a bit on Yelp and some of the places I contacted required me to purchase a full interior detail package at a high tier, which was out of my price range, especially for an unexpected issue like this. But to my understanding packages like this are pretty typical of detailing services so I was preparing to shell out more than I really wanted to. On a whim I was going to request a quote from Killer Queen Detailing but forgot about it since it was already late at night and I was really tired from dealing with this whole issue. The next morning however, I woke up to a follow up text message asking me if I was still interested in receiving a quote. Figuring it wouldn't hurt to ask, I decided to just call so I could get my answers quickly. That's when I spoke to Josh, the owner, for the first time. He initially missed my call but called back right away and was extremely friendly and helpful. After I explained my situation to him I asked if what I wanted was possible and if he'd be willing to work on just the one seat in my car because I checked out their Yelp page and it seemed like his business typically operated using packages as well. Josh assured me he'd be able to do the service I needed and then asked me how soon I'd be available to come in given that he wanted to get this done ASAP due to my particular issue. I told him I'd be able to come in the next day (today) and he confirmed that, that would work and to give him a call in the morning because he has two locations he operates out of. The quote he gave me was less than $100 and he said it'd take around 40 minutes max since the problem area was just one seat in my car. I called this morning as per his instructions and after speaking to Josh he told me to head down as soon as I could. It only took a while because I was just a bit confused about where to go since it's located in the Hawai'i Self Storage in Kapolei, but eventually I got there and they got to work on my car right away. The service was way faster than I expected (maybe 20-30min total?) and Josh and his staff member who was also working on my car were very friendly. After giving me a run down on what to do when I got home it was time to pay. I really wanted to tip given how accomodating and great Josh had been, but he told me that there was no need because it was such a quick service and that he just really appreciated my business. For someone dealing with something like this for the first time this experience with Killer Queen Detailing has been amazing. I cannot recommend Josh and his business enough and if I ever require any type of auto detailing service in the future I will be more than happy to patronize them again. I was able to turn in the car and they gave me a lift back to my home while I waited for it to be finished. They offered to come get me when it was ready to be picked up too. My car was being shipped from Maui and knew I need a good cleaning soon after to get rid of salt and debris. I have a 2014 RAV4 and it's was fairly clean, though, to be honest I have not washed it for over 6 months.
