Well Dave did it again! After he expertly detailed my Subaru Forester- which helped me sell her in less than a week!, I asked him to do a ceramic coating on my new ride- a Mazda CX-30. I dropped her off and he worked his magic and now she is completely protected! He carefully cleaned and inspected her, spent almost 3 hours getting some weird epoxy drops off of the hood, and numerous water spots before performing the ceramic coating on the car, windows and wheels! The paint was in rough shape and the light tan leather interior was in need of serious attention. Dave went to work and performed his magic. When I went to pick up the car, I could hardly believe my eyes. The paint was glistening and the leather interior looked amazingly renewed. The transformation was amazing. A black car with a tan interior is probably one of the most challenging cars for a detailer to work on. I also hand picked Dave to install protective door molding on my 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. He came to my house (super convenient) and did a masterful job of installing the molding. He carefully measured the height of the molding and taped off the car so I could get an idea what the molding would look like. He very meticulously and precisely installed the molding. My initial inquiry where he laid out how he details vehicles and the price scheme, to his ability to work with my schedule and squeeze me in earlier than we originally planned was great. Let me start by saying I have never seen my car so clean! It was absolutely amazing how clean they were able to get my car! I had called about getting both of my cars detailed and was lucky to get an appt the next day. They worked a full day on each car and they were both absolutely spotless. Still 3 months later they look brand new! I had a big scratch on the bumper of one car that I was told by someone else could not be buffed out and Rich managed to buff it right out! You cannot even tell there used to be a scratch! Customer service also 5 stars, both Rich and Dave are very professional and friendly, I never felt like they were trying to cheat me or over charge me for anything, they do offer a military discount which I was able to take advantage of, but the full price is very fair considering the quality of work they offer! A garage or carport with plenty of room to work around the car. I will wash the vehicle outside and then will ned to bring it into a shaded area for detailing. Working on hot paint, plastics, glass etc. is just bad all around for most of my procedures. Furthermore, I reserve my sunburns for Kiteboarding on the weekends. * Want a better price? You will absolutely find cheaper prices out there for quick "express hour plus detailing" with cheap products that have very little to NO protection. This kind of service is what most folks can do themselves at home on a weekend. We / I call this kind of service "Express Detailing" in which Detail companies will complete 4 to 8 (or more) cars a day and by no means would I consider this Professional Detailing. It will most likely be provided by employees with very little training and age from 16 to 22 years old that some of the Detailing shops will send out to you. *MANY OF YOU WILL WANT MY WORK/SERVICE BUT NOT MY $-PRICE, and that's OK! We all want "DuPont work/service for K-Mart price", its human nature but it's not reality. Reality is "You get what you pay for". I work very hard, professional detailing is a very physical job and you are not just paying for my physical detailing procedures/service, you are paying for my KNOWLEDGE, SKILL and the best professional detailing products our industry has to offer to protect and bring your car to the potential of looking the best it can short of repainting and reupholstering it. Furthermore and most important, doing all this without damaging your vehicle/bike/aircraft/boat. In turn, I charge accordingly for the 3 to 10+ hours of what I'm worth. *Honestly, I don't understand "express detailing!" But then again I'm 20 years Military (retired) and have had this logic instilled in me that "half ass" doesn't work in what we do! Especially when your carrying a weapon and accountable for the safety of others. Sorry for rambling, just the way I see things.
