Well Dave did it again! After he expertly detailed my Subaru Forester- which helped me sell her in less than a week!, I asked him to do a ceramic coating on my new ride- a Mazda CX-30. I dropped her off and he worked his magic and now she is completely protected! He carefully cleaned and inspected her, spent almost 3 hours getting some weird epoxy drops off of the hood, and numerous water spots before performing the ceramic coating on the car, windows and wheels! He walked me through everything he did, and also gave me a bottle of spray to keep her clean, along with detailed instructions. He loves to share his knowledge and what products he uses. Left me with some valuable tips on keeping the truck pristine and some products as well! Found these guys on the web, which i might add that their prices have changed. They are still cheaper than the shop prices though considering the fact that they come to your place. *Also note that these guys use a Heat Extractor for the interior. Hands Down - Dave Knox is definitely the "Doctor of Detail" ! He performed miraculous work while restoring my 2011 Black Lexus ES350. The paint was in rough shape and the light tan leather interior was in need of serious attention. Dave went to work and performed his magic. When I went to pick up the car, I could hardly believe my eyes. The paint was glistening and the leather interior looked amazingly renewed. The transformation was amazing. A black car with a tan interior is probably one of the most challenging cars for a detailer to work on. I also hand picked Dave to install protective door molding on my 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. He came to my house (super convenient) and did a masterful job of installing the molding. He carefully measured the height of the molding and taped off the car so I could get an idea what the molding would look like. He very meticulously and precisely installed the molding. This is probably no surprise to anyone - but it looked totally awesome. I researched other detailers and I checked online, 808 Detail's customer reviews were ALL 5-star ratings! From the moment I talked to him on the phone, he was honest, gave LOTS of information and I instantly trusted him and wanted to do business with him. My husband bought a used 99 Honda. The maintenance on the engine and stuff was immaculate, but the car needed some major TLC. It's leather interior was really dingy looking and the rims had this really ugly rust or something on them. Also there was an overspray on the car. We were looking on spending big $$ to get new rims AND a paint job. 1-day, 10 hours later Dave brought the car back looking better than I could have imagined!! Let me start by saying I have never seen my car so clean! It was absolutely amazing how clean they were able to get my car! I had called about getting both of my cars detailed and was lucky to get an appt the next day. They worked a full day on each car and they were both absolutely spotless. Still 3 months later they look brand new! I had a big scratch on the bumper of one car that I was told by someone else could not be buffed out and Rich managed to buff it right out! You cannot even tell there used to be a scratch! Customer service also 5 stars, both Rich and Dave are very professional and friendly, I never felt like they were trying to cheat me or over charge me for anything, they do offer a military discount which I was able to take advantage of, but the full price is very fair considering the quality of work they offer!
