I was recommended this place by an autobody friend of mine from when they used to be located in Kalihi ('08-09) So they've been around for a while & know what they're doing. I got the Wash & Ceramic Infused Paint Sealant package, which is just for standard maintenance since I uber on the side; well worth my $80! I'd like to think I keep my car pretty clean, but they brought it even more vitality; wish I took a before picture. TBH, my biggest insecurity about my car were the scratches I got on the passenger-side rims and they made it look as if they barely existed in the first place. Though my appointment was scheduled for 12:45p, I got there at 12:30 and they were done by 1p; so definitely very efficient too. Hopefully won't need their more extensive packages unless a passenger ruins my car, but should that happen, I'll be going to them with higher hopes; thanks so much guys! read more

Tony and the team here at Shea's Luxury are truly the best! I called their shop to see if they could do a ceramic coating for me. They normally don't answer on the first time that you call because they're busy servicing cars, so just make sure you leave a detailed voice message and your callback number. Through that voice message Tony called me back in the same day, asked a couple of questions to get more information on the condition of the car, and was able to schedule what I wanted within the next week. A text message was then sent to my phone confirming our appointment. Throughout that week, I was planning to go to another company to detail clean the interior of my car, but I figured I would add that on with Shea's to make it easier. I called the number again about 3 days before my appointment for the ceramic coating, left another message to add-on the express detail cleaning package. Tony called me back that same day, added it on, and sent me another text message re-confirming the appointment. The day of the appointment came, I dropped the car off first thing in the morning. Tony told me that they were a little busy with other customers but he'll do his best to get the car done by end of day, no problems for me. I got a text message around 2pm saying that my car was ready! They accept credit cards and cash, so I paid with a credit card and tipped with cash. Super easy process, and I got everything as expected. The ceramic coating I got was the 1-year version which was a little less than $300 plus tax. The express interior detailing package was $160 plus tax. All in all, I would definitely keep coming back here again. Shea's Luxury Detail Was Awesome. They really took care of my brand new Toyota Tacoma. I decided to indulge and began searching for auto detail shops that provided Ceramic Coating services. I don't have a garage and my truck is in the sun all day. I read many reviews and what to expect from ceramic coating and ultimately decided on Shea's Luxury Detail. They had all positive reviews and their warranty was the best on the island. The cost was not cheap but I decided it was worth the price. They require half down and the remaining payment once the job was complete. Their shop was not hard to locate and very well maintained. I love the lights that light up the shop... super cool guys. Everyone there was really nice and took their time to answer all of my questions. My truck is brand new so I had lots of questions. I then decided to also get my windows treated which was a last minute decision, which they will maintain if I bring my truck in for detailing every 3-4 months. Bought a brand new car and wanted to get it Ceramic Coated so I came to Shea's and was extremely happy with the results!! Usually the dealerships try to sell you on a clear or final top coat but all the guys I spoke to recommended I get it ceramic coated and after some careful research I brought it to Shea's Sheas is located exactly to the right of Club Hot Ash (known previously as Electros) by Waiau Power Plant in Pearl City. There wasn't a large number of stalls maybe about 20 stalls in total, open lot stall for them to share with two or three neighboring businesses I had a 9am appointment, did a walk around with my car dropped my keys and 8 hours later I came back to pick up my beauty. I loved how easy it was to schedule a appointment online. I personally love businesses that are moving to online scheduling, just makes it so much more easier for me! I got my car and it was beautiful looked brand new like the day I bought it but better after driving it al over the island for a full month! I went to get my annual ceramic maintenance done with Shea. I originally had my truck ceramic coated by Hawai'i Auto Detail and they went defunct almost over a year and a half ago now. The Bulletproof ceramic coating is supposed to be reputable so Shea found a small part of my hood where it wasn't very hydrophobic anymore. And told me that the ceramic is probably gone from that area. It's at the very top part of the hood near the windshield. I'm going to see if I can Get it warranties with Bulletproof and have Shea do the ceramic again. But his ceramic maintenance on the truck came out pretty good. He also gave me a 10% discount when I paid cash. He charged me $150 and the 10% off for cash. I'd recommend him cause he gives it to you straight. He won't try and fast talk you or up sell you. I'm a believer of what goes around comes around, so when I found scuff marks on the front of my car hood, I was more worried about if those marks would come off. I wasn't really mad even though my car is new, but I knew that it was a bigger job than just grabbing some polish and removing them. Fortunately I was in the Kalihi area and stopped in to have Shea's check it out. The Shop Manager Mina who was detailing this sweet Audi RS4 took the time to check out the scratches. He said no problem after inspecting it and 10 minutes later it was almost unnoticeable except for a few scuffs that you have to really look good for. Happy? I say Yes! He did the best job that he could buffing it out, it looked a 100x better. First off, the service was great on the phone and in person! (if only that was what the rating was for, i would give 5 stars) but I got the in and out package, which was priced at $240. But I noticed another review for $225 back in July. So this was a little high priced but I was desperate to have the inside cleaned. Being a little pricey i would've given 4 stars. However, my car isn't spotless and I am a little disappointed after reading all the great reviews and being told my car would be done around 2 but I didn't get my car until after 4... If it was possible to give 3 1/2 stars, I would but Yelp won't let me. They did a good job on the inside, smells good, feels very polished and my main concern of moscato stained seats are washed out. But again, it wasn't spotless. As I was driving home and after buckling my children into the car, I noticed some spots here and there throughout the car. There was also a spot they tried to get out but couldn't completely clean out. I am a tough critic. But I wouldn't mind going to Shea's again in the future because I have a 2 and 4 year old, so my car was a mess when they got it. And customer service is very important in my book. I paid $2600 to color correct and ceramic coat my car. I paid for the 7 year coating. It's been only 4 months and part of my door the water is sticking to it. I emailed the company and they suggested that I needed a coating maintenance or a boost wash. Sent links to books in the email... ceramic boost wash is $150 and coating maintenance is $275. I maintain my car pretty well, I wash every 2 weeks and apply a coating maintenance spray myself after every wash like recommended when I picked up my car after it was coated. And I don't use a cheap maintenance spray... I get my stuff from a very reputable auto detailing chemical supplier. So in my opinion, they did a shitty job on my coating. Not to mention they coated my windshield and it had scratches in the coating from the wipers when I picked up my car. I didn't say anything about it cause who has time to go back again and redo it. I already left my car there for 2 days and had to get a rental. Upon further inspection, they took off paint on the corner of my door while color correcting it. And didn't tape up my black plastics very well cause there was white stuff all over it. And this was all noticed when I first picked up my car. You ever got white polishing compound on your black plastic? It doesn't look nice and it's hard to get off. I'm not one to complain but now they want me to pay for these "maintenance" services.... not knowing that I maintain my car pretty well. This just irritates me. read more

When I arrived to pick up the first car, it looked amazing when they drove it out of the garage. I appreciated that the technician did a final inspection of the vehicle before handing me the keys. Car surface was smooth and shiny, a marked difference from the factory prep. My second car's results were just as spectacular. My work parking is in an industrial area and gets a fine layer of dust every day, including cement powder. Most, if not all of the particles blew off during my ride home and a quick hose and dry brought back the miraculous shine. I was so impressed that I brought my wife's beater down for detailing and the car was unrecognizably spotless and glowing when done. I had to have my vehicle "white glove" cleaned prior to shipping off the island. Although I prefer to detail my cars myself, all of my equipment was packed up and shipped off prior to moving. I contacted Shea's a few weeks out and they scheduled me an appointment via email for the day prior to shipping. For perspective, this car is a beast! And it is the kid hauler so I didn't expect it to be a quick in and out appointment. Despite that, they had the vehicle back to me in no time and spotless. They were even able to work with me for a hand wash (it had a ceramic coating, so no detailing required) at a reasonable price. In the end, I had a spotlessly cleaned vehicle that passed shipping inspection with ZERO issues. I went down to get my truck ceramic coated. They noticed a film on the paint and called me to discuss my options. I had them just detail me truck until I could figure out what the film was. Shea the owner took the time to try and remove the film. They got most of it off and couldn't do the ceramic coat because they ran out of time.
