Great hidden gem along Hwy 98! We had the Killer Tuna tacos, grouper basket, fried grouper tacos, tuna sandwich and fried shrimp. While we spent time in the Panhandle, this was the best basket of fried shrimp. Lightly breaded - more like coated- not greasy or heavy - unlike anything we've had before and ah-mazing!!!! The grouper tacos were tasty as well as the rest of our meals. We ended lunch with key lime pie. We love key lime pie and we felt like we struck out until we came here. Clearly homemade with a crumbly graham cracker crust, flecks of lime and just the right amount of tang. Yum!! read more

Killer Seafood is...well KILLER. Reopened after the hurricane in a food truck, but the food is just as good as it was in the physical restaurant. Consistancy is the key, always good, always fresh and always great portions. Take home a jar of the Simmerin' Sauce for a quick delicious meal that will remind you of good times at the beach. P.S. Food truck is clean and new, servers were very nice. Unfortunately food lacked seasoning and we were disappointed. Ordered the grouper, shrimp combo and the shrimp tacos. None of the seafood tasted like it had been seasoned, I'm afraid. I'd recommend the hushpuppies and a slice of key lime pie. Best flavor of the night. read more

Killer Seafood has always been my favorite place for fish tacos in the Florida panhandle. I was so excited to learn that they've opened up a food truck following hurricane Michael. The fried grouper tacos are just as I remembered- amazing! The location has a gulf view with a nice pavilion that provides shade from the sun. Prices are so reasonable as well. It was a beautiful day and a planned stop at Killer Seafood. If you are looking for an outdoor-casual setting with a beach ambiance - this is your place. There was a line, but after our food was ordered, it was prepared and served in an expeditious manner. The food was hot, portions were nicely sized, and very good! The taste and quality was worthy of a restaurant with tablecloths. We highly recommend this local eatery, either passing through or a break from enjoying the beautiful beaches. The food was great, but the lady taking our order wasn't very kind and it kind of killed the experience for us.

This is a local spot with a stellar reputation...but it came up short for us. The grouper basket contained little grouper and the sides are lackluster at best. Service really good and people extremely accommodating. For the money...disappointed. I know they are trying to keep it going, etc. and have community support big time. Ok food was basic good beach food. However. I have never experienced a worse attitude from a worker. Ever. The middle aged woman with short curly blonde hair spoke to my boyfriend like he was the dumbest person on the planet. Because he asked how the fried shrimp was seasoned. She made a stank face "what do you mean??! They're fried shrimp..? I don't know what you want me to tell you they're just shrimp tacos.." in the rudest tone while giving him a look like he just cursed out her family. And she went on and on about it. I was too stunned to even say anything because it felt like we were on a tv show where workers are rude to customers just to see their reaction. I wish I had turned around and taken our business elsewhere. It's a shame to see people that treat older people well but people in their 20s like they don't matter as much as customers. We are the ones who will be around longer to continue to come support spots like this. My boyfriend and I love to find local spots to support and be loyal customers of so we were giving this place a try. Never again. I hate to give a one star review to such a cute small business who relies on reviews, however I feel it necessary for the way I felt after leaving. I hope this worker gets a taking to about her treatment of customers and takes a much needed smoke break earlier in the day than she did today. read more

Jalapeño Poppers were popping! Fresh home made...just amazing. Seafood was fresh. Breading was light and airy enough to be able to enjoy the actual seafood, with NO dirty frying oil taste. We had their combo fried baskets with scallops, fish, and shrimp. The Fish Po Boy was good but a little more sauce would've made it great. Cocktail sauce was on point. We loved our delivery from Killer Seafood! The shrimp were large and juicy and were accompanied by corn on the cob, tender new potatoes, slices of sausage and crab legs. It was delivery, so of course not everything was piping hot, but it was still warm and tasty. We will definitely order from Killer Seafood again! read more
