Had a great waitress named Harley!!! Food and service was great!! Live music is always a nice addition to atmosphere!!

We stopped in yesterday for an early dinner and there were 6 in our group. We were quickly seated at one of the long picnic tables inside. We started with the Fried Pickles and Buffalo Bites with mild sauce. Plenty of both to split among our table. I had the Parmesan Crusted Redfish with Yellow Rice and Fried Plantains. My wife had the Jerk Shrimp Salad. Others in our group had the Fried Fish Sandwich, Grouper Fingers, BBQ Sammich and Chicken Tenders. Food and service were excellent. They also have live music. My father in law loves this place, and we went multiple times on our family vacation this week. Zach was the most delightful guy there!!! He went out of his way to help us with anything! We loved our food and our drinks (let me recommend the blue lagoon) and our waitress, Madison, was as sweet as can be. Can't wait for next year! read more

Very good service, the food is good, just the usual beach fare. Draft Stella, overpriced more than $8 for regular serving. The biggest negative for me is getting a mixed cocktail in a plastic cup, I like glass for my drinks. They serve beer in glass, the cocktails should be too. read more

I guess I was just expecting more from somewhere literally on the beach- with that being said, the service was great (younger man with curly hair. Super, super sweet and very attentive) and the cocktails were very good. Unfortunately, the food was just meh. We were in town for a family event and came out in a group of probably 15 or so. I ordered the shrimp and fish with the black beans and a side salad. It was a basic side salad with very little to it (I had to look up the sides to remember what my second one even was). The black beans were the star of the meal- which is sad considering this is one of about 3 restaurants in this town. The shrimp were so small and the fish was tilapia. I should have asked, so that's my fault, but I felt really disappointed considering I could have this exact same meal in Indiana. Overall, I can't see myself going back. This town is starving for quality restaurants with quality ingredients. read more

Great little place in town. She had coconut shrimp that was amazing. I had regular fried shrimp with fried plantains on the side. Everything was fresh and made to order. We opened this place at 11am and by the time we left it was packed! Locals always know good food. read more

New Years eve 31, 2025 My wife and I were visiting Mexico Beach FL to celebrate the years end and a new beginning. We decided to try Mango Marley's, bad decision! We ordered two beers and an appetizer of onion rings that were brought to us promptly, a bit too promptly as they were under cooked but at least edible. For our dinner we both ordered grouper baskets mine with coleslaw (not bad) and french fries the absolute worst fries I have ever attempted to eat and I didn't. They tasted as if they had been gathered from leftover plates and partially warmed up. My wife ordered sweet potato fries that came to the table barely warm and she returned them for some slightly warmer ones, not much improvement but edible. The beer $8.50 a pint and the grouper fingers were good that said the bill was over $80.00. Save your money and go to McDonald's! read more

My husband and I were with another couple and stopped here for dinner last night and they were very friendly! I got the blackened fish platter. A bit salty for me but I scraped off the spicy part and it was ok. I won't order that again, at least not blackened. Came with red beans and rice that was amazing! My husband got a chicken Philly sandwich. Very good! Tater tots were perfect. Our friends both got a burger and loved it! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly! The atmosphere was great. The floors looked like they were redoing so not so pleasant but understandable. Will be back next year and more than once I'm sure! Plus you stock my favorite cocktail! Carbliss! read more

I can't believe I have not written a review for Mango Marley's yet; but better late than never. My first visit to Mexico Beach was a cold rainy February day and I was tired, irritated, and just wanted something to eat after being out in the rain all day. At the time Mango Marley's was the only restaurant in town open, so my daughter and I made our way there for dinner. I moved to Mexico Beach the following month and have been a regular at Mango's ever since. Mango Marley's offers a Florida-Caribbean (Floribbean) inspired menu with many options from my favorite the blackened fish tacos to burgers, fish, shrimp, salads, wings, and so forth. They have a full service bar. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff always eager to make recommendations and provide a great dining experience. Mango's also has live entertainment during the season here which is always great to catch a live acoustic performance from a local musician. Mango Marley's is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enjoy dinner. The combination of great food, warm service, and vibrant atmosphere makes it a must-visit for locals and tourists alike. read more

My husband and I recently visited Port Saint Joe, Florida and discovered Mango Marley's. The cheeseburger was huge and more than I could eat. My husband had the shrimp and sweet potato fries. Favorite place on Mexico Beach. Actually at first thought it was closed and hadn't recovered from hurricane damage but turns out that's the vibe. Server told us they were closing soon for some renovation. Hope the place doesn't lose its charm. Food is excellent. I had the chicken wings, blackened. Not too spicy. Actually would have liked them to have more kick. My wife had the grilled chicken and said it was excellent. We also got two mango chicken entree salads for dinner that night. The salads with the chicken, mango and citrus dressing was great. Definitely will be back if we're in Mexico Beach. read more

Food is amazing with many options and all are super deliciously cooked to perfection! The staff is amazing & cheerful with unique interaction like you normally would receive at fine dining although this is casual dining. The atmosphere is across from the water ocean and also not in an area where you think wow glad to have car insurance because Mangos actually has a nice parking lot dedicated to their customers! It gets a 2 for the bbq. Kids said it was great. The bacon wrapped shrimp was also good. The fish tacos were not Mahi as advertised and it was awful and fishy. If we hadn't waited over an hour for food we would've sent it back. Instead we ate the fries and called it a night. The ambience was ok if you just wanted drinks and some lighter fare but this was dinner in a Thursday night. The wait was definitely not worth the food and completely unnecessary given that this was not a busy night. The waitress did her best but we wouldn't return here. read more

Lovely customer service from everyone we encountered. Great little location, but very loud. If you suffer from sound sensitivities, I would suggest takeout for sure. We sat down immediately which was fabulous. Crowded and multiple TVs on every wall. Pepperjack burger, kids grilled cheese both pretty good. The sweet potato fries were a hard pass, very soft and sweet, seemed old? Try the tator tots instead! Wings were delicious. We went here because this was the closest restaurant to our hotel in Mexico Beach and that's what we needed after a long drive to the beach. When we walked in, it was pretty empty, but quickly filled up with a big crowd of happy, family oriented people. They have really cute cocktails and your typical panhandle Florida, fried seafood fare. There also seemed to be several people enjoying decent looking salads. The service was very good... waitress was attentive. Though not a gourmet meal, I would go back for a good time at a typical, fun, beachy restaurant. read more

the service was fine but the food was terrible. the mahi mahi was cooked right but had the worst taste. the fish filet basket was not cooked all the way and was freezer burned. the cole slaw was spoiled. I would not recommend eating there. read more

Food was average at best, we just went in for a small mid day snack. Apps were the typical frozen then fried overly salty fare you get every where else. The side salad came out with rotting veggies and was sent back, the waitress apologized and took it off the bill, wouldn't recommend or ever eat there again unless it was a last resort. It's off season in Mexico Beach, I'm hungry and thirsty but not many places are open. I see several cars and golf carts parked up ahead, so I stop. The nights special is bacon wrapped shrimp. I must have a specialty adult drink. Zac recommends a Hurricane Marley--it is just the right flavor and prepared perfectly. The shrimp are great size and are complimented by the red beans and rice.
