Super happy with Killian Pest Control. We switched from another company since their customer service went down hill after they were purchased by a larger company. From the receptionist in the office that answered the phone when I called and was able to answer all my questions to the technician who came out and sprayed our house, excellent customer service. The receptionist explained the pricing structure very well (reasonable prices). Our technician came to the door and introduced himself when he first got here and explained what he was going to do. He spent about 45 minutes spraying and cleaning the spiderwebs under the eves. He let me know when he was finished and asked if I had any questions. I asked him to please check the gate and keep it closed as we have an older cat who spends lots of time relaxing in the backyard and can't climb the fence. I didn't want him getting out front. He was great about making sure the gate was closed every time he went thru. Definitely would recommend Killian to anyone needing pest control!! read more

Better communication when offering their service. Didn't let me know additional follow up for bugs would cost another full price. Thy are very expensive with no follow up service at all. If your bugs don't go away the first spray, you end up paying full price for another spray. Other pest controls don't operate this way. I feel like I got scammed. Being in the bug business can't be easy. There are so many different variables from location, landscape, size of property, type of bugs... I'm sure the list goes on and on. You're usually dependent on one individual to take care of all your needs. I know a single individual sees the same thing day after day. They might even start to miss some things. This being said, I feel it's how the company responds when you mention the things that may have been missed. This is why I would give KILLIAN's PEST CONTROL 5 STARS! After we notified the company that some things were not getting done, they sent out a supervisor to look things over. After that, The Supervisor and the Technician came out together! After that, Another Technician came out and spent at least another hour plus going through the property. After that, we were notified that the owner of the company was coming out to look things over! I had the opportunity to thank him for such great customer service and follow-up. I'm very thankful they're still businesses that have this kind of pride in what they do! Communication has also been great. From the first call we made to them letting us know that someone was going to be coming out. Each and every time we always knew what was going on. The management is very rude and not understanding. I wanted to cancel my contract because of COVID and no renter in my house. "The manager said, " I don't care you signed a one year contract." Killian's has been the best service since we started using them about a year ago. The owner Larry is a very hands on type of owner. If you have an concerns with the service he will come on site and check the work of his team and provide alternate solutions to resolving the problem. Laura who sets the appointment times and takes the service calls has outstanding customer service skills and listens to your concerns. Any time we have had to have them come back out to do another spray in between cycles they are there right away to ensure the issue is resolved. The tech that comes out to perform the service (Derrick) is very knowledgeable and thorough. A friend recommended this company and he was right on point when he was explaining his service experience. We are more than pleased with the service we have been provided and intend on being a long time customer. Our guy, Jose arrived without notice, not a biggie, but he arrived 30 minutes before what was stated. He stated that the first time around they only clean cobwebs and spray a little. Our home was vacant for 4 months before we moved in and little critters found their way! I have noticed cockroaches still around. The house and will be calling them to spray a little more, I don't want Any critters in my house anymore! Jose was nice, but not thorough enough for my liking. Be careful with this company. My card was erratically charged. I was told it was $29.95 every other month, in one month I was charged $59.90 twice! I don't think they have an automatic payment system in place, I think it's just some girls in their office... either way it isn't consistent. Also, I had Orkin before Killian. I didn't have a problem with Orkin I only switched because Killian was going to be slightly cheaper. However, with Killian I always have bugs,, not sure if it's a lower quality spray? I would have quit them long ago but they required a contract,,, now I know why! I'm going back to Orkin! read more

UPDATE: We have continued using Killian through a move across town and continue to be impressed by their customer service and quick response. In our new home, despite being sprayed by Banks prior to us moving in, had major bug problems (ants, spiders, roaches) when we moved in. Killian came and did their regular service, however we were still having tiny black ants taking over our kitchen. Killian gave us no complaints and came back out two additional times (upping the treatment each time) until the ants were 100% eradicated. Even after that, they called us to ensure we weren't having any issues. They didn't charge us anything extra for the extra visits and work and still maintained our regularly scheduled every other month service. The owners are very sweet, and extremely helpful as are the service men we have encountered. If you are looking for a pest control company, I absolutely suggest giving Killian a try. We have now had them for over a couple years and continue to be impressed! read more

I have been using another company for my personal home and my rentals for several years but since they had gotten lazy lately I decided to give Killian a try. Of course they always try to get you to sign up for monthly service but I hate that. I don't want to have to worry about being home when they decide they are going to come, I'd rather pay extra and just schedule when it's best for ME. They tell me there are no call backs on one shot sprays but I wasn't worried because I had spoken to the owner a while back and he went on and on about how they do the best job imaginable and how there is no one as great as Killian. The guy shows up and says "you don't want me to spray inside do you?" What?! Yes! Of course, that's why you're here and charging me $145! So he quickly sprays the baseboards in, I'm assuming, my entire house but not behind toilets or under the sink as other companies have done. He was done with my 3000 sq ft home before I could blink. When he went outside he said he sprayed around the foundation and fence line. At first I noticed a couple dead bugs here and there but not much. The same night I noticed some ants around the foundation but figured it needed a few days to kill them. Over 2 weeks later and they are still there along with the countless other bugs all over. I called to complain and the only thing they said was "no guarantees on one shot" so basically if you don't want a monthly service they will do a crap job and take your money. read more

Service was reasonable. My complaint is based on billing. I was unaware that my account was past due so I was put into collections - without a phone call, email, or letter. I could have easily have paid the bill but forgot. If you choose to be serviced by Killian be sure you tape a check to your door otherwise making payments can be difficult. read more

This is my last month in a contract with this company and I am glad. Although Janet was very nice and helpful, she completely ignored my complaint. My renters still complain of bugs so I'll have to look for a new pest control. I just got a response from them regarding my post, seems they were offended and claimed I have dirty renters. I should have been more clear on my review. I called several times to have them spray inside because they were not spraying inside only outside. In the 1yr contract the deal was they would spray inside and out. If the job was done as promised I probably wouldn't have complained. But killian, maybe we probably had dirty renters, but during the time I was receiving this service there was no change. read more
