Through the years all of our pups have been treated with top notch care and love. Our cocker spaniels are our life and both Kim and Debbie go above and beyond for these guys. Melissa at Kim & Debbie's Pet Salon has been taking care of both of my dogs since September of 2010. She is incredible with her skill in grooming and care of my babies! We moved here in 2008 from South Florida and I struggled to find a groomer who could groom my dogs the way I preferred (versus doing whatever they felt like doing!). Melissa listened to my needs and filled them beyond expectation. A friend from South Florida visited me and commented, "Ah!!! Spike looks like Spike again!!!" :) My dogs are mixed breeds and I'm very specific in the "look" I want then to have - and Melissa grooms them to perfection! Everyone at Kim and Debbie's is so nice and genuinely happy to see the boys (Spike & Duncan) when they arrive. Each time we're greeted welcomingly and the boys are handled lovingly. They are very knowledgable if I have any concerns of something new that comes up - these boys keep me on my toes - and I am thankful for the knowledge they share! I guess most importantly: I trust them. read more

I started bringing my two Miki's here last year and at first it was fine. The last two or three times I've taken them they were not friendly at all and the dogs were not trimmed short enough and nails were still very sharp. Today I asked for them to be trimmed shorter and was informed they do not do scissor trims, so it's 1" longest or nothing!! I did not leave them and will find a new groomer. I wonder if the person who groomed my dogs is no longer there? read more

The employees at this facility are inept and lazy. They lie and tried to charge you for services they have not even done. I would not recommend anyone taken their animal to this facility. read more

A friend recommended this groomer. Even though her dog never really seemed to smell that great when he came from there, I thought I would give it a shot since she liked them and had been using them for years. I was immediately unimpressed with the cleanliness of the shop and then was greeted by an already unhappy employee who quickly decided that I didn't take care of my dog's hair because she had some mats under her legs. She said my dog had to be shaved and start over and to do a better job in the future. She has been groomed every month since she was a baby, she has had an occasional mat which has always been clipped out quite easily and groomed as normal. Her fur lends it's self well to hiding those spots. They insisted it was inhumane to comb them out (I agree, and wouldn't have wanted that)...well any good groomer knows it doesn't have to be a difficult process when they are small. I am not interested in having my very fluffy dog fully shaved and unrecognizable. The customer service was seriously lacking, the quick to judge staff left a lot to be desired, and clearly the skill set was not present. My fur baby dodged a bullet, and we left happily ungroomed. I Am quite pleased with her results from a different place and now my friend won't return either after seeing how beautifully my girl was taken care of elsewhere, and she left smelling wonderful and untraumatized. Kim and Debbie's doesn't charge don't charge as much as many in the area but, please spend the extra $10 and take your dog somewhere with better quality and customer service. My best friend deserves as spa day, not judgement and trauma. read more

I've never found a more inadequate groomer in my life! I have a 15 yr old Shih Tzu, that weighs UNDER 10 pounds! Poor thing has been through a broken jaw and is just getting up there in age. I moved to Palm Coast in 1999, and shortly after bought him as a puppy. Palm Coast Pet Grooming has been grooming him since then. When I called to make his appointment they were thrilled! Just loved him, and understood as any GOOD groomer would, that he's old now. He's NEVER bitten anyone in his life and he literally lives on my bed! He gets off to go outside for his potty break! Last year we moved into Ormond Beach and I had to find a new groomer for him. The first time I brought him in to this groomer, they didn't even shave his head or face! They said they couldn't do it! I paid FULL price, took him home and with a pair of scissors, I finished him myself! Yesterday I called to make another appointment to have him shaved again for the summer, but this time I did most of his face myself before bringing him in! I just picked him up and was told they can NO longer groom him! They want me to have this tiny, old, sweetheart of a dog, tranquillized! Excuse me? I don't know if I was speaking to the owner or one of the other morons in this place but I stood there in shock! She told me, my 15 yr old dog is too hard to groom and I can't bring him back there! Either these women are the most incompetent group of females, or they just do NOT wish to actually WORK to earn their money! I've NEVER been told my poor little, old dog, is NOT welcome back anywhere before! In my opinion, these women are pathetic and just do NOT know what in the world they're doing! I should've checked their licensees. Terrible groomers! Wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy! Kim and Debbie, I believe you ALL need MORE schooling!! Enter at your own risk!
