It is what I consider comfort food because it feels like home! Their pho is also really good and there are multiple variations they offer. Absolutely my favorite pho spot in town. Since finding this place I've been coming at least once a week. I get the same thing most times I come, sometimes adding a different appetizer but their number 9 beef pho is perfect everytime. I have yet to wait longer than 10-15 minutes even at their busiest. They usually put a complimentary hot pot of tea at the table when you sit down. This is a great find for those who love hole in the wall Pho restaurants. Banh Canh, the seafood pho is wonderfully flavorful, better than seafood pho's that I've had in Portland. This place is fairly close to I-5 which makes it a good stop over spot for travelers. I've been here from 1:30 to 2:30 and it's busy. It must be a local hot spot. The shrimps in my bun were chubby and delicious, my partner's pho broth was rich and delightful, and we were able to substitute tofu in the salad rolls since it wasn't on the menu with no issue whatsoever. I used to love this place for pho growing up. This was one of Salem's OG pho places. Went there today as I have not had it in a long time. The quality of the pho was really bad. No flavor as it tasted like they just used chicken broth because the broth was not beefy. I thought maybe it was just mine but I tried my kids and it tastes the same. Not even a hint of star anise, cinnamon, or any other spices associated with pho. Also, I have a disabled child that left his tumbler cup on the table as he cannot drink form a glass. We didn't even make it out the parking lot when we noticed it was missing. Went back in and the man who runs the counter was so rude! Said whatever it was that was left behind was not his problem and walked off. Luckily we seen it on the counter behind the register and just took it back. I'll never go back there again this place really sucks. And yes I understand and am not mistaking the blunt Asian English accent as to being rude because I am Asian as well and he was just rude! read more

This is my go to pho and egg rolls in the Salem area. Inside the service is great. You pay before you sit which is nice because then you just leave when you're done. Okay so me and my husband went to eat lunch and like always when we go there which isn't often the girl behind the counter is rude and she never smiles. So we sit down and she only brings us 1 glass of water not 2 but 1. Like she didn't even know there were 2 of us. I mean how rude. The food is okay I guess. Everything was just really really good. I wish I could give this place 4.5 stars but I'll default to 4 because to me it's not quite a 5. We've tried a lot of things here so far: egg roll vermicelli, wonton soup, pork belly, eggplant w/ tofu, fried rice, sweet & sour pork, and the salty shrimp. I honestly couldn't even tell you what my favorite dish was because they were all really good. I guess if I had a gun to my head, I probably enjoyed the wonton soup the most, and that was when it was in the middle of summer, so it'd probably taste even better if it were cold out. The broth is really flavorful and the wontons themselves were tasty. My least favorite is maybe the fried rice - I like my fried rices on the dry side, but this one here is more on the moist side (I think because they probably use fresh rice instead of old rice). The eggplant w/ tofu wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't one of our faves either. It was just good. But yea, this place is a regular go-to on our UberEats deliveries and will probably be for the foreseeable future! read more
