My side the Full Tom Yum (Spicy) her side 86. Pad Kee Mao and Thai Iced Tea

Delicious food! I had the pad thai with scallops; the scallops were so tender! Server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Menu is marked for GF options. Typical Thai restaurant ambience.

I ordered take out last week and received a very tasty meal at a really good price. The young lady who checked me out was very helpful and friendly. When I opened the food in my hotel room, it was still very hot. Definitely recommend the Pad Tai and Flat Noodles.

My first time here recently, I was not feeling that great (everyone don't panic, it wasn't ANYTHING contagious) and wanted some comforting mild soup with noodles, nothing too spicy or fancy. I did a walk-in order for take-out, and the young lady who took my order was very helpful and kind in making suggestions. I decided on the #87, Thai Noodle Soup with prawns from the Noodle section of the menu, and coconut prawns appetizer. It was early evening so the place only had one table, but a steady stream of food delivery drivers came through the door picking up orders. It made me reflect upon the trade-off of jobs lost and gained in today's economy. On the one hand, the waitress probably would have loved to have more tables and make more tips. On the other, people driving around in their personal vehicles delivering food, well, that's income for them, but it made me kind of sad. The food was ready very fast. When I got it home, the food was piping hot. The packaging was interesting (see photos). I didn't mind it, and if it gets it home without leaking all over, works for me. The coconut prawns were delicious: crispy coconut coating, came with a nice sweet and sour sauce. The soup...at first I thought wow, this soup is a little bland, but then I thought about how our palates have become addicted to MORE! MORE! MORE! It's like the escalation of everything now where more is more and more is "better". We may have lost the ability to enjoy subtle, gentle flavoring. Combining the rice noodles and bean sprouts and enjoying the light flavorings of cilantro, garlic and green onion, it was just what I needed. Comfort food that did not need to clobber me over the head with an overbearing flavor burst. Also, I had enough soup broth and noodles for leftovers--enough for three meals. I would like to return, sit IN the restaurant, and try other items on their menu.

More of a 3.5. The location is clean and seems remodeled. The Drunken Noodles with beef were fantastic but the Pad Thai was severely lacking. I also had the Boozy Thai Tea and it was good as well. The Mozzarella Wontons were good as well!

Orange chicken - Pad Thai with chicken - Pineapple shrimp fried rice

Our server was nice. The food took a bit to come out. The tables are so small though. I wish they had bigger tables for a party of 2 lol I mean the plates were practically falling off our table. Maybe we just like to eat and order too much food lol I don't know.. anywho The pad Thai was my favorite. It was so flavorful, definitely would order again. The pineapple friend rice was good but we added shrimp. I don't know if they make the rice in a big batch and then just throw the meats in as ordered but you could tell the shrimp was just boiled in water (no salt I'm pretty sure) because it was really bland. I don't think I would order the fried rice again with shrimp. Like I said the rice is good on its own. The orange chicken was more bread than chicken.. but I mean it was crunchy. It wasn't bad it was just meh. I wouldn't order it again. Their white rice is good and the Thai tea was good too. Overall I'd go back and I want to try the pad see ew.

The fried rice on my delivery order was cooked in bad oil. Been paying the price for a couple of days now.

Called to order food 40 minutes before the restaurant closed, only a 10 minute drive away, and they wouldn't take my order.

I personally love the drunken noodles from this place, and this is the best thai food I've ever tasted.

I have had a lot of bad Thai food and a lot of good Thai food and this was perfect and exactly what I hoped it would be. Family operated and locally owned. Love that. I see people complaining about the price and it's truly worth every penny plus tip! This food is FRESH and cooked to order. You get what you pay for when it comes to food and I am happy to pay for fresh food like this! They had many healthy options and this is authentic Thai. I think people forget that food trucks are restaurants too and so it takes time for your food to come out... it's worth the wait. I appreciate that the heat level was customizable on the papaya salad as well! Could definitely go up a spice level but was cautious because Thai spicy can be on another planet. So anywho... I would bathe in that tamarind sauce if they let me buy it by the vat. It was phenomenal. Im a fan! Can't wait to go back and try more things!

Big Blue Thai BBQ is everything that I could ever want from Thai food. Our main dish was the Grilled Pork and Papaya Salad combo and it was absolutely addicting. The beautiful smoke on the pork from the charcoal grill complemented perfectly with the spicy, tangy papaya salad adding so much freshness to the dish. While the food was amazing, the real star of the show were the lovely people that operate the truck. They were both so genuinely friendly and welcoming and made our experience exponentially better. We only wish that we had found this place sooner.

I drove up to Salem not long ago to have lunch with my Mom…read more We decided on Thai, as it's one of our favorites. I only know of a place in South Salem that I like, besides my go to's in Eugene. We looked on Yelp, and decided on this place because they had decent reviews, and were pretty close to Mom. I ordered the drunken noodles, she ordered phad Thai, both with chicken, and we had an appetizer of chicken sate. The chicken sate was good, I thought the drunken noodles were just alright. Mom liked hers, and she liked mine even better. She isn't used to really good Thai food like I am, I am spoiled in that way. The place was pretty busy, there was only one table open, we were seated right away. Our orders taken fast, Food given at a decent speed, but once the food came, not once were we checked on, and no one came for quite a while. In fact I had to go get our to go boxes, and go up to get our check to pay. Our waitress was no where! It was a man. My Mom was a waitress for most of her working life, in fact retired from it not long ago. Even she was disappointed, and she hates complaining, knowing the service industry. I truly hope it was a fluke on this particular day, because leaving is like the waitress did was rude. I can't see wanting to come back, I would rather drive the extra distance to South Salem to the better place.
