It was late Friday afternoon in Deadwood and my car would not start. I opened the hood to check…read morethe battery connections. The connections were secure but I discovered that in addition to the electric fault the water pump was leaking. I called South Side Service and explained my predicament. Pat told me that if I could get the car to him he would look at it. I was able to push start the car and drive to his shop. Pat called around to locate a water pump and starter without success. There were no parts available. Not even in Rapid City. We drove the car up onto the hoist and Pat agreed to look at it Saturday. Pat called me Saturday morning and stated that he got the starter working by striking with a hammer to free the brushes. Not a permanent 'fix', but it started the car. Bravo! He was able to stop the water pump leak with a bottle of radiator stop leak. Another temporary 'fix' but good enough for me to try returning to Minneapolis. I stopped at the Chevy dealer in Rapid City to inquire about parts availability. The dealer also stated that there were no parts in the entire region. I continued on to Minneapolis without any problem. The point of this review is to commend Pat of South Side Service for doing what he could on a Saturday. Thank you, Pat. Lee

Why would I be writing such a positive review? Service. My cruise control slipped out and completely stopped working on a recent coast to coast to coast moto trip this summer. Being at least 300 miles away from the dealership I decided to give them a call to see if there was something I could do on my end. RANDY the service manager was super friendly, considerate, and professional in handling the call and offered some advice to what it may be. When that didn't work and I made my way to the area a day later. I just went to the dealership without an appointment to take my chances it getting the problem fixed. This is about 10 days before motorcycle week in Sturgis. The dealership is busy and the service crew are slammed. However, I introduced myself to RANDY and wanted to know if there was any crazy possible chance the service crew could see the bike and give me a solution. RANDY took the bike right in, started filling out a work order, and let me know it will be covered under warranty. They fixed a broken line that was causing the problem in less than a few hours (knowing they still had privious bikes ahead of me.) Went over the work done. Gave me a pat on the back and sent me on my way. I know the bike was covered under the manufactures warranty. However, the professionalism and friendly costomer service went above and beyond. Thanks for sticking behind your product and treating ALL Indian motorcycle owners feel welcomed.

They agreed to pay for the repairs here in WA but only replaced partial parts leaving worn out basket, bearings, & pressure plate which made the motorcycle worse. Sturgis abandoned me and stuck me with the remaining bill and the motorcycle remains at the local shop with more issues. I bought this Indian 4/8/26 , received it 5/29/26 arriving with clutch slipping. Their sales rep strung me along with lame remedies to fix the issue until 6/2/26 they agreed to repair it at a "certified" indian dealer that is about an hour away , across 2 cities and 1 ferry ride. Back and forth to this shop and Sturgis refused to fix all of the worn clutch components which caused the bike to walk in gear. 7/10/26 The Indian returns to the shop when an opening was available, blocked out my time, several uber rides, ferry costs, lost time and bike remained there until 8/11/26. When I picked it up only rode for a partial day then it broke down, left me stranded and lost all clutch tension from shotty repair work, had to tow it back to the shop on 8/19/26. Sturgis refused to be involved stuck me with the bill and now I have hundreds of pounds of stress, costs, repair bills and every warm summer day entirely burnt during this ordeal. Avoid this dealership, terrible customer service just turn and burn - you have been warned!

Finally got our car back July 12 and over $3,000 later. Drove the car home and on July 16th the car started acting up and would not speed up. Took to local shop by house and they found the ground wire to transmission and a 30 amp fuse in a 20 amp spot and recommened have the car look ate the engine control module look at by a dealership I paid to have the car towed to local dealership and they confirmed the engine control module needs replaced. Reached out to Auto choice Spearfish by phone and email mutiple times and I am not getting any response. This was a preffered shop from AAA and now I have a car they kept from the beginning of June to July 12th and it wont run and they are acting like its not on them.
