A friendly staff member could have said - "let's get you in another day" However, your staff was much too eager to bring up your 48 HR cancelation policy. (At this stage in a sale , keep in mind customers don't even know you.) It's off putting. She could have listened, then put me on hold (then discussed with you about not charging the customer, and that wife was already a customer )... THEN NOT EVEN BRING IT UP.........THEN STILL CLOSE THE SALE and got 2 more customers This would have saved your review This would have had 2 more local customers It sounds as you've worked very hard to get good reviews. HOWEVER: You could have called me personally when you knew this was an issue- you didn't. You could have emailed my wife and asked for my cell and or email me personally- you didn't. You could have said "excited about you coming in, let's get you that 1st appointment" - you didn't. You could have modified your front desk pitch and been more observant about tone with staff. - you haven't.
