Came here for a relaxing derma-planing facial and had Kelly who was amazing! She is so friendly, talkative, informative and really makes you feel right at home! Also, I am OBSESSED with dermaplaning as my skin felt so soft and clean afterwards. I booked another facial for a month out with her. It is located up a flight of stairs on the opposite side of the main road, so but it can be a bit tricky to find. You have to go up a flight of stairs to the 2nd level then all the way down and it is the second to the last shop. There are also residential lofts/apartments on the 3rd floor, so make sure you don't go too far up. :) I can't wait to go back and see Kelly again for another facial!! I started on Marissa's acne program back in fall of 2020, feeling lost after years of prescriptions, pills and topicals from a dermatologist when I was told my last option for a noticeable "cure" of my acne was Acutane. I was seeking a less invasive option when I saw an advertisement for SLO Skin Studio. Upon consult, Marissa immediately got to work on my agitated skin and created a regimen tailored to my skin utilizing the Face Reality line of skincare products; that not only feel & smell fantastic but that truly make a difference in the skin.
