This was the first time I received their services and I left very pleased. Before coming in I called and asked if they did walk ins and they took me right away. When I arrived there was no wait. I asked for a full acrylic set with gel color and a regular pedicure. The whole experience was pleasant and the price was very reasonable. I am not much of a conversationalist but they were very accommodating and made me feel very comfortable. The place is also very clean, organized and nicely set up. I wanted a fresh new start in a new town and I came across the this salon. Although it is about an hour away, I wanted to give them a try. Right off the bat I made an appointment with Mia. She greeted me and she was kind.. I love the way she did my nails. And I asked her if she will be my new technician.. she agreed absolutely and that she was established with the Salon. I made an appointment with her in two weeks. I drove one hour there upon arrival I was told by the male manager that Mia is gone and isn't coming back.. Suprise! They told me nobody can help me and take me in that day. Mind you nobody called me or informed me on this cancellation. I've already driven an hour.. the manager then said I'll do your nails with a disappointment sigh. He repeatedly at least 6 to 10 times was getting up answering calls! out of all the technicians there he was the ONLY one interrupting my personal time! Three hours later, he finally finished my horrendous French... I didn't want to give up on this place just yet. I wanted to try one more time and I came upon the technician G. Again, I made another appointment in two weeks. I drive one hour to have my appointment with the technician G I get there and she's working on somebody else. She rudely looks at the male Manager without addressing me saying I'm booked back to back. I said no problem I can wait. I have an appointment at 5:15 PM. she starts screaming in her language to the manager in the back . which pretty much was saying she cannot take me as he translated unfortunately, once again, we have to cancel on you. Mind you I have an event the next day. I them asked what's the reason for G canceling on me she's right here working on client on my scheduled time. he just looked at me and said she is booked back to back and I said, well did you guys accidentally book twice perhaps? He said no she just simply can't do it . Wow. No explanation no apology. I literally saw my name on the book with the time put in my slot was mine. this is the 3rd cancel! He looked at me once again. Do you want me to do your nails? The shadiness between him and G made me very uncomfortable. My first encounter with nail technician G was talking about Mia the previous technician and said that Vietnamese people just give up their job and don't care about it. What happens with her and her colleagues I don't need to know or hear. That was very unprofessional and information that didn't need to be shared especially with clients .I just wanted to have some free talk and ask her what she likes to do for her spare time and she literally said I like to just drink and get wasted when I get home. Yikes I will never give my time or money to the Salon again and I surely believe the owner should get involved! They were very incompetent with me. They canceled on me three times with three appointments. No empathy. And I will be reporting this to the board. read more

Got my toes and nails ready for the upcoming halloween weekend and thought I should really leave a review for this place. It's been a while and I have been coming here for 10+ years now. It had been my go to for a decade and I have had the same nail artist (Van) for most of that time. She & her husband took over the business about 3 years ago and it was a seamless transition. They updated all of the chairs and stations, brought in quality colors and polish, and always try to ensure every customer feels pampered and well cared for. There is such a strong sense of family to this business and that is what sets them apart from all of the other nail places. Trust me when I say I have gone to many others here, SLO, and Orange County and this continues to be my favorite. Everyone is so kind and welcoming and makes you feel included and cared about. Nick and ji are also some of my favorites who go above and beyond, so shoutout to them. If you're looking for a nail salon that's clean, provides quality work (time and time again... i mean 10+ years), and you don't feel like they're talking about you because they actually talk to you (or just let you relax), then definitely head over to Signature Nails. Signature Nails is such a clean, welcoming, professional, and friendly nail salon. After going to another salon for about 5 years, I had to change because that place would not honor my appointments and the boss was a grouch. Not so at Signature as they are serious about making sure those with appointments are taken care of. I've been going to Signature for about 7 years now and have always been very happy with the services I have received. The owners for the past few years (Nick and Van) treat my husband and I like family. The amazing Ji has been doing my manis and pedis for about 4 years now and I am so happy with her abilities and the kindness she always treats me with. My husband loved his pedicures with Jackie, who is sadly not working there anymore but he has been happy with the work both Vivian and Tina have done. They moved across the street from where they were to a new location earlier this year and the salon is even cleaner, brighter, and well organized as their previous spot. I really liked my service lady. She was very kind and attentive during my pedicure. This was my first time and I walked 2 miles to get there. I'm giving it 4 stars because they were very busy and understaffed. I had an appointment at 10:30a and we didn't get started until closer to 10:55a. Always had a great experience but this emoylee actually hurt my toe. I even said "Ow!" out loud and she didn't acknowledge that. Took me over two weeks to no longer have shooting, throbbing pain, and after meticulously cleaning, airing out, and elevating my foot I'm able to walk without pain, (though I still have to wear open toe shoes). I had a wonderful experience here & highly recommend it! I came in for the Lavender Pedicure last week and Ji (I apologize if I got the spelling wrong) provided such good service I decided to get a Manicure as well :) My feet were pretty beat, as it had been a while since my last pedicure, and she really put in the effort to get my calluses under control & fix my cuticles. Other positive things to note: I called ahead & they said they could take me, so I walked down & they sat me immediately upon arrival, without a wait. They provide complimentary beverages which is nice; water, soda, wine, coffee, tea. It had a nice, mellow & relaxing energy there - not too hectic & noisy, as some nail salons can be. There is a $2 CC fee, so if you can, I recommend bringing cash. Definitely try this spot out, you won't regret it! read more
