This place was not only perfect, it's almost made for families. First, the staff that I met there were maybe the NICEST golf course attendees that I've ever met. Went out of his way to explain every little detail of the course. Made us feel comfortable with bringing our child - it didn't feel like an inconvenience for them, more like they WELCOMED it. This meant so much to us. Second, it's a perfect place for families and beginners. No tee times needed, 12 holes (shorter round) with 10 of them being par 3s. Most people walked. We didn't for obvious reasons and was thankful that they had carts. Definitely something we'll come back to as the children get older!

The instructor is very knowledgeable. Each session the instructor gives some type of new information to help play the game. To help push you to the next level. For $60, you'd expect a playable and well-kept track -- but what you get here is mostly dead grass, huge patches of dirt, and inconsistent fairways and tee boxes. The conditions are downright unacceptable: * Tee boxes are uneven, bare in spots, and filled with weeds. * Fairways look more like abandoned fields, with dry, patchy areas and minimal healthy turf. * Rough is inconsistent, with overgrown weeds in some spots and dead, dusty soil in others. * Many areas look like they haven't seen water or maintenance in weeks. Golf is supposed to be challenging because of the design, not because you're hitting off rock-hard dirt patches or trying to find a blade of grass under your ball. Charging $60 for this is ridiculous -- it feels like a $20 muni course at best, and even then, I've played $20 courses in much better shape. Until they put serious work into fixing and maintaining this course, I'd recommend taking your money elsewhere. Kimberton has potential, but right now, it's just not worth your time or your wallet.

I have been golfing for approx 8 years. My game has been very inconsistent and having had very little formal coaching, I felt it was time to get help. Mike is very firm with his lessons, alot like the military he will break you down and built you back up. Mike started with my grip, then stance, ball position (no wise cracks) shaft position, alignment etc. I have seen a tremendous improvement in the accuracy of my shot, my swing is now smooth and fluid. Unfortunately with groupon I am only allowed to buy redeem one groupon or I would have scheduled again. I plan on working through a few of my weaknesses on the range and course but I will definitely go back for another few lessons. The range itself is too notch. The stalls are in excellent condition, the mats look new. There is an area to hit off grass. The bucket prices are reasonable. The pro shop is equipped with balls, gloves and grips for regripping I also think you can purchase new clubs and get fitted. I definitely recommend this location for all golfers.
