The store is neither clean nor dirty, but it does have a discount merchant ambience to it. The bakery's lobby is quite small with only one aisle that circles the store. If you head towards the back, you will find the marked-down items. To its credit, Franz Bakery has a large variety of various breads etc. Parking is unusual because it is located on a corner lot that is steeply inclined. This can make entering/exiting a bit weird on busy days, but it usually isn't a problem. If you can get past the oddities of its location and layout, then you will enjoy the prices and quality of the merchandise. Franz is definitely a place a person can easily stretch a dollar.
