Not to mention the starring but not responding when asking questions Then I assumed this stuff would wash off after scrubbing my feet or simply in the shower it did not. My manicure same issue after asking three times before getting up paying and leaving for someone to remove the clear coat. When I went to get tissue and remover myself they brushed me away yet I had to ask three times ... Customer service can improve women come to the nail salon for a relaxing escape/day not more stress. This place needs major updating and a major cleaning (or decluttering). I walked in randomly for a pedicure and the wait was about 20 minutes, I was second guessing my choices when they say me down and I looked around. Pedicure was just ok, very expensive for what it was so I can't see me returning based on the place and price. The chairs are super old but luckily they cleaned down the basin in front of me and put a liner. Half of the polish needs to be tossed because it's so old. I would skip this place. If I wasn't desperate for a pedicure I would have left. read more

I've went to this place quite a few times. The last time I went to get a pedicure the women use the file on my feet and filed a later of skin off both my big toe. This was a year ago. I had gotten a gift card and went back over the weekend. I did a French pedicure. The prices listed was $25. I then had a gel manicure done. She did my manicure so fast and didn't clean up my cuticles very good. I went to pay and the price was more than I figured it to be. They were charging me $35 for the pedicure. I said to her it says $25 on your price list hanging right there. She tried tell me no it's a 3. I said to her no it's not and they were arguing with me that the price was $35. I said well it's listed at $25 and that what you have to give it to me for. After five minutes of going back and forth with me. She gave it to me for that price. Pricey for a pedicure..but maybe it's all the additional perks they provide? Besides the regular cleaning/scrub on your feet, they use warm stones, and some aloe gel thing for your heels to soften. How was my pedicure? I don't ask for anything special, just a french and I've always been satisfied. It gets busy quickly! The staff is very nice and they are on top of the line! Came here twice to get my nails done... I wasn't really happy with the results both times I was here... First time I came here was when I just moved to Staten Island...I thought it sucked but then I try giving it another chance since I was in a dire need to get my nails done... it still sucked...The prices are pretty outrages for mediocre work....The service was really bad....and my nails looked really bad....I got tips with designs... I did say I wanted a designs ...but they made the design themselves and it was the same color as the polish...so it looks like there wasn't any designs at all... Maybe it was a good thing... Five star pedicure. I am super picky about pedicures because it's my favorite type of pampering. I have been here a bunch of times and always to different people and have had consistent great experiences. I love that they put the plastic barrier in the pedicure pool, which makes it ultra sanitary and they use new tools for each person. The legs massage last for 20 minutes and included in a regular pedicure are hot stones and paraffin! I go somewhere else for my nails, but this place is hands down my favorite pedicure and worth a separate trip. read more

I've come here twice, for a manicure one time and another time for gel nails. The gel nails turned out alright, nothing too bad there. During my manicure though, the woman made me bleed and hurt me several times. The result wasn't even that good, and the people weren't the nicest. Prices are super expensive too. Kim's Pink Nails is probably the only nail salon that knows how to do nails with decent prices. I have been there many time and have always loved my manicure. The last time I went I actually got a pedicure done as well and it was the best ever. They are very clean and they massage your legs for a long time without any extra charges. Yes it's a bit expensive than other places but I think it's worth it because I always love their work. The employees are very nice and friendly too. read more

Recently came here with my boyfriend for pedicures. Unfortunately, the woman who did my pedicure had a very bad attitude and clearly did not want to be at work that day. She gave me the worst pedicure I've ever had in all my years and trust me, I've had HORRENDOUS pedis before. The owner (manager?) was incredibly nice, however. I paid for my pedicure AND still tipped because I know what it's like in a tip based industry and the look she gave me when I handed her the tip was pure shock because she knew she had done a shitty job and was man handling my feet and legs the entire time. Also, she was on speaker phone the entire time and it was very loud. It was so awkward and far from relaxing. I definitely will not be coming back. I have been going to this place for at least two years. I went because they didnt make you wait and the prices were reasonable . My nails were done by Jenny who is a talented nail designer. However her aggressive nature and attitude was something to be desired. At first, the prices were reasonable and I overlooked her attitude. The last time I went ,I was charged $103.00 for a pedicure,fill in and simple design. Jenny yelled at me and also said I never discussed a design so she didnt have the time. We never did it that way in the past. I should have a peaceful and relaxing experience and I didnt. I will never go back again. More like 2 1/2 stars. Just got back from there and for what I paid, it didn't seem worth it. For just a regular mani and pedi, it cost $31.50. At that price I wouldn't have rushed home from work and just gotten it done in the city. Overpriced (gel mani is $27, everywhere else it's normally on average $25) and for what, really? My go-to nail salon. Great setup, ALL the women are nice and gentle. My nails aways turn out great. Manicures are 10.50 but it'll last a good four to five days unlike one day manicures like found by hougonot train. I've never experienced a faulty nail job with them. Kims pink nails is the cleanest salon I've ever been to. The prices are high but they give you your own individual nail filer and buffer every time you come. The ambiance is nice and there's barely ever a wait , they have enough staff to accommodate you at pretty much any time. I just wish they had the razor for pedicures ! read more

My only problem was that they don't fix crack or chipped nails if they didn't originally do your nails. So if your going for a fill in keep that in mind. I was very furious when I was told they couldn't fixed a crack nail I had only thing they could do was fill it which was pointless, $45 I spent on my nails and no fix. read more

Beautiful nail salon. Quick and precise manicures. Nail polish selection is somewhat limited but they have some good choices and only high quality brands (Essie and OPI). Seems very clean. I also enjoy the free (yet short) shoulder massage you get while your nails are drying. And the fountain that you get to look at while seated in the comfy and regal-looking chairs at the drying station.
