It's a hit or miss! Some days the service is great and other times not so great. The consistency is missing. Everyone there can't do eyebrows/ pedicures or nails but they try and that's the problem. No one pays to be in an experiment! Today both brows and pedicure sucked. The place is usually clean . But the brow room floor was sticky and dirty . Wow! What a terrible first experience. My coworker at the school I work at had a great set of nails and I was recommended this place as a go-to. The host seemed very annoyed at my simple questions like "what's your form of payment?" I ignored that and made an appointment anyway. When I came back an hour later the same host gave me a side eye and asked me "what do you need?" I reminded her that I just came in to make an appointment and at that moment she fixed her demeanor from annoyed to welcoming. My nail tech that sits at #5 was nice at first but was really nasty and rude when I pointed out what I would like and what I would not like. I like to speak up during any appointment so I'm not paying for something I don't like. This tech said "no" everything I asked her to fix. I still tipped $10 after paying $73 for a new set. The next day, I realized there were more technical issues from having lumpy, bumpy to some nails being curved and some straight and even black spots underneath the gel color. I went the next day to go fix it and the tech kept complaining about how much she filed my nails the day before and kept trying to argue. She insisted that I didn't speak up about anything when I said I did she scream over me "nooooooo" After I told her I'm just here to fix and not place blame, she kept making comments like "why don't you just do it yourself" "you should go back to Brooklyn" "I do everyone's nails perfectly, it's not my fault" When she told me to do my nails my self I literally laughed and said "okay ma'am" I could tell the tech was highly offended that I found her work imperfect but as respectful as I was, she had 0 customer service and completely treated me based off personal emotion. I began to feel uncomfortable and said I would like just to fix the paint, we don't have to do anything else. She said no again and at that moment I just got up and left. It was so disgusting to speak to a paying customer like that, my assumption is that they do not care about losing customers of color because that simply is not the demographic they want as customers. i noticed how when people of color walked on they were barely acknowledge but every white person got a very warm & exciting "welcome!!" Why set up shop in a predominately black and brown neighborhood to then treat these same people like trash? Never will return and I cannot wait to tell more people about this terrible service. read more

AMAZING experience given the COVID-19 precautions. I called the salon prior to arriving to ensure I would be able to be seen since some salons in the area are only taking appointments. The woman who answered the phone was very sweet and explained that while they are happy to accept walk-ins, they would prefer an appointment so they could monitor how many people would be in the salon. Upon arriving, I was instructed to use a glove to select my nail color, and was immediately taken to the chair to be seated. I went there on a last minute appointment December 30th and unfortunately i caught a nasty nails fungus from this establishment, which has caused my two large toes nails to get black and just lost my left toe nail and looks Horrendous. The salon is very nice , spacious and modern. There's lots of room in between stations for the manicurist and the pedicures. There's lots of different colors to pick from and they usually have everything in stock for the namebrand colors as well. The pedicures are always very great and the ladies who do your eyebrows are also great, the one thing that I'm not a fan of is the price. I got a fill-in and one nail replace and it came out to over $50 with gel. Found to be pretty steep when the competitor nail salon Tomato nails down the block charges around $35 for the same service and better skilled quality. The environment is very clean and I like the scrubbing soap they give at the end, along with the lotion. I would recommend making an appointment just to ensure you don't have to wait long when you get in. I personally made an appointment after work around 5-6PM and I did not have to wait long. What I also like is that they offer a variety of pretty nail colors, which is very important. The service is nice as well, as the staff is pretty friendly, some more than others. So I came in for a gel manicure and spa pedicure for a total of 71$ including tip. The pedicure was so-so the foot massage was more of a pat down. The gel manicure was where things took a turn for the worst. It wasn't until I left that I noticed that there was a bubble on two of my nails. My wife went to this nail salon for gel wraps. Two days later the wraps started coming off. She went there and spoke to the owner she told her to come tomorrow as the girl who did her nails was not there. She went there today they fixed her gel wraps and then said they where charging her for the new wraps. I got an powder dip manicure on a friday. On Saturday the manicure was obviously shipping. 5+ nails chipped. I had to wait a few days to go back due to work. When I did go back to show them they refused to do the manicure again. Stating i would have to come back the next day at when the owner was there , or they would only fix the chipped nails even thought the entire manicure was obviously flawed. I go to this salon every two weeks. i have had great manicures and not so great and I never go back and complain. But this is the worst manicure I have ever received. I'm not sure why they get so many negative reviews. The pedicures are wonderful and the staff is so great. Kammy is a sweetheart and always willing to squeeze you in if you don't have an appointment. Linda is just FABULOUS with nails. She makes sure she takes her time and does an impeccable job. I love the atmosphere, it's calm, quiet and they never overbook. I hate going to nail salons and you're rushed or everyone is seated on top of each other. The color selections is absolutely amazing, from regular polish, to gel and SNS colors they can't be beat. So I call this nail salon and the lady answers the phone doesn't say the name of salon I proceed to say "this is the nail salon right" she then says "what do you want? I got UV gel fill in with gel polish..my usual but first time at this particular salon, that very day a few hours later my nail breaks and the gel polish has air pockets underneath on majority of my nails I go back the next day..they fixed my nails now it's the very next day and a different nail broke..I still have the air pockets under polish..not to mention when I went back 5 people came in to get their nails fixed I will not be returning they charge a fortune for a cheap ass job..no thank you! I have been going to this salon for years, and I have recommended so many friends and family members throughout the years. I've never had an issue until my last visit. On a recent visit, I instantly notice a bunch of new faces, most of the regular women that worked there were gone. I took my son for a pedicure on this day, the next day he told me that his toe hurt. I looked at it and it wasn't immediately noticeable, but the next day his toe was red inflamed and had pus. I treated his toe and called the salon, the owner wasn't available, left my number no call. I called every day for a total of five days, no return call. I now go in person and once again the owner wasn't available. I left my number again received a call five minutes after leaving the salon from her son telling me I was going to hear from her on Monday (this was a Saturday), that was one week ago and I have yet to hear from the owner. So, with that being said, I'm good! Never again, found a new place. I deserved at the very least a phone call. It's sad that loyalty gets you nothing these days. read more

The pedicure was mediocre and I specifically asked for a hot pink color and the technician couldn't recommend anything close to what I was looking for, so I settled on a color. When I got my nails done, I asked again for a hot pink recommendation I wanted a bright gel pink. The technician recommended a peachy color which was way off. Clearly, they have so many colors but have no clue how to help the customer be happy. I walked out of there spending $61 and frowning. Will never go back again. I didn't feel the service was there.
