This is my second time going to this place and I REGRET IT! The first time I went and because I didn't have an appointment I was pushed away. I was looking forward to my pedicure all week finally went to get one at King's nails on Bay Street Staten Island there was only one pedicure lady and she seemed bothered that I didn't want to pay for all the extras she also seemed bothered that I wanted to adjust the chair to feel comfortable so that I can enjoy the massage she did a real quick job on my feet and when I finish there was green stuff on the bottom of my foot looked like mold she says it's from the tablet she put in the water I said yes but didn't you see there was green stuff on the bottom of my foot before I got out of the chair she looked at me very rude walked away and went back to her next client I will never go there again they're very unprofessional they treat African-American women as if they're doing us a favor when it is I who is paying you for a service don't go. read more

I went there for the first time today. Very friendly. However, Christine did my nails (regular manicure) and they're not the best but not the worst, and my ring finger cuticle is cut open. But the woman who did my toes, not sure of her name, she was great. So 3 stars ‍ my nails are all different lengths and she did nothing to correct that. In the past, before I became a mom and had no time, I did my nails here regularly (mainly gel manicure and pedi) I always used the same nail.tech, Isabelle she is great and probably only one in there who can successfully do your nails . However, I recently had a gel French manicure done and my nails chipped---- less than 4 days later!!!! Unacceptable for gel! I have three chipped nails and two more with cracks about to chip off. I am.going back today to have them fixed and never going back again. They must have changed their products and everything is of such poor quality that it can't possibly last. Kings! I've been coming to this nail salon for over 10 years and they're constantly improving by introducing new styles, polish, and designs. I come for mani (regular and gel), pedis, and eyebrow waxing too. Somehow my nails take forever to chip only when I get my mani done here. Sometimes they don't chip at all and I come back when my nails have grown out too much. They renovated not too long ago and now its so clean and bright- much better than before. Worst manicure I've ever received. The woman who did my manicure popped her gum the whole time. The whole experience wasn't relaxing or professional at all. My nails were uneven and my cuticles still appeared undone. As she painted my nail she was leaving streaks. When I mentioned it she blamed it on the nail polish And did nothing differently. I find them very unprofessional I bought my wife a gift typic it for $100 and The owner that wrote the gift certificate and which is a very rude woman. I've been to this nail salon a few times now and every time has been better than the next. I normally get just pedicures and I just based on the polish and the massage. The massage was long and great! The chairs were awesome too. The woman doing my nails was a doll. The owner was so accommodating as my friend and I went together and wanted to be sat with each other. She was so nice and respectful to the staff and to the customers like all business owners should be. The was such a big selection of nail polish colors and the place was very bright so I can actually see the colors unlike some other dark salons I've been to! I'm so happy I found Kings! I got uv gel by a worker there and they started cracking the same day. it seems like nail salons dont check expiration dates or something.
