A few days later my husband got several voicemails that were difficult to understand as it kept going in and out. I went in and they let me know they ripped my husbands pants while dry cleaning them, which they proceeded to blame on us, even though the suit is basically brand new, has only been dry cleaned by them AND they weren't ripped when we brought them in. The woman behind the counter who claimed to be the manager let me know to come back after Thanksgiving and that she would repair the pants at no cost and that I would not need to pay for the dry cleaning. Fair. Things happen, I will move forward. I returned today, 11/29/23 and it was a different woman behind the counter. I explained the situation and she said she would have to call her boss to confirm, totally fine. I could hear it was a man on the phone who I have never met before, she handed me the phone and he told me I had to pay. I explained everything again and he asked me to come back later so he can talk to me in person to better understand the situation and we could work something out. I told him I couldn't come back later and that I needed my suit back and should be honored what I was told. After I told him that, he "suddenly" remembered the situation and that I needed to pay even though I was told otherwise. We went back and forth and he just kept demanding I pay. I wanted to get out of there and knew I wouldn't be back. I paid for my overpriced dry cleaning ($27.15) and let him know I would just write a review. It's disappointing as they have been great in the past and are close to where I live. The ladies behind the counter are great but it was the hostile man on the phone that ruined the experience. Had they simply honored what they told me they would do, I would be coming back and not writing this review. SIDE NOTE: While looking at the pants there seem to be stains that 1) weren't there when we dropped them off 2) don't seem to have been treated. Incredibly frustrating. First, neither suit was ready when he said they would be. He had them for an extra week and he had not work on them until the day I went to pick them up. Second, he did not tailor the sleeves correctly, they were uneven. Third, the pant legs were not as I wanted them to be. He kept telling me the style is to have no break, but I told him that is not my style and I wanted them to break. I also asked him to taper the legs and he said it was not needed. Well, when I went to get the pants for one of the suits (the other pants were completely messed up...more to follow) the hem was too high and the legs were too baggy. He lowered the hem but not enough (as I told him to do) and he did taper the legs. Fourth and worst of all...he switched my pants with those of another customer and tailored them to his measurements. That customer is shorter than me. He tried to correct his mistake. But when I went back to get the pants the hem was too high and he had let out the waist and seat a ridiculous amount. I see what he did was let the seat out as much as possible so the hem line would be lower. I had to have him take in the waste and lower the hem the maximum amount possible. The hem line is still slightly too short but there is nothing he could do because he cut the material when he hemmed them for the shorter customer. And also the seat is so low it rubs against my inner things. I should have demanded he pay for the suit he ruined but I was so tired of waiting for it and I needed it that I just paid him. It took three trips and over a month to get my suits from him. Worst of all is he charged me full price for the alternations, even on the pants he messed up. Luis is a nice man but he rushes and does not listen to when the customer wants. Sadly, I don't recommend his tailoring services at all. I know others who are satisfied with him but I was very disappointed by his work and professionalism.

A month later, I still get the run around of their losing one of my pants. Why am I writing this…read morereview , it isn't so much because of the lost pants, it is how they are handling it. I have been back 5 times and I just get the run-around. A month ago I dropped 3 pants of, I was returned 2 that were mine, and a larger/different color one. I stated - this large grey one is not mine. I gave my name and phone number, I've been back 5 times. What have I been told by the same female employ, you the reader pick which one you find most unacceptable: 1) well we can fix the wrong one to fit you (so, um, wonder about the original owner of those pants?) 2) leave me your other two pants and we will look for the missing one (the only thing the missing pants have in common with my other two is they are black, not same brand 3) when I went to get my two pants back, they were reluctantly returned to me 4) one week I'm told, come back on Thursday, the owner can decide what to do. I come on a Thursday the owner is not there 5) I come back the following week, "I have to tell the owner about your missing pants." (so owner hasn't been told) 6) I asked - why don't you launder my next order of pants for free as compensation - I got silence, no reply. 7) I asked - how do you guys handle this? Silence, no answer.
