Best cleaner in town ! They've been here as long as I've been here, 40 years plus.. highly recommend them

Deceptive pricing. Brought in a garment to be pressed. Was told they could do it right then but did NOT say there was an extra cost. Charged me over $30 for the service which I found out would usually only be about $18. I was in no hurry, did not need it done right then, and I had been told of the upcharge I would have said I could pick it up later in the week. When I brought this to management's attention, they just shrugged it off. Never going back though I have been a customer there for many years. read more

I was referred to this cleaners. I have been by the courteous of the staff and the owner. I have gotten alterations on causal and business clothes. They clean everything and do a great job. Also, it is a great value for the price. read more

I walked in with a broken zipper that needed fixing. I was quoted by another place $80 and I walk into Kim's cleaners for the first time. I walk out 10 mins later with a fixed zipper and a smile on my face. Best part? Only paid $10! The front was kind and customer service was great. The seamstress was sweet and efficient. read more

As a chef, presentation matters , and Kim's Dry Cleaners keeps me looking sharp every week! My chef jackets always come back perfectly cleaned and pressed, and my dress clothes look brand new every time. The staff is incredibly kind and professional, and the owners genuinely care about our community. You can tell they take pride in their business and in their customers. There have been many recent updates to their system. Kim's is truly a staple in Miami. Highly recommend to anyone who values quality, care, and great service! read more

We dropped off cleaning items. We have been coming here for about 15 years now. Never a problem. We have used the alterations dept, the shoe repair dept, and the Michael Kors watch dept to replace batteries. They do quality work here. We value her place. read more

I have been using Kims Valet Cleaners since moving to Miami in 2021 and cannot say enough great things about them, from the friendly customer service to the quick turnaround time. I also like the fact that they pick-up and drop-off from my building. Thank you Maggy and the rest of the Kims Valet team!! :) read more

Yesterday a friend of mine got up with the intentions of having three pieces of clothing laundered and starch added. This was to be same day pickup clothes were dropped off around 8:30am. After getting off from work he headed to get his clothes. He gets to the cleaners and wouldn't you know. The clothes can't be located. The worker is looking for and eventually located the clothes. All is not well as the clothes have not been laundered and starch added as discussed that mornin. Worker says I can add it by hand. He agreed mostly because he was already behind schedule for an event because they couldn't find his clothes. After the worker was done he asked about a discoun. He was given a 10% discount. A 10% is an insult but he accepted it. He ended up being over 2 hours late for his event. He was so irritated that he almost didn't go. You drop your clothes to a business for a service to be performed. The service is not performed as discussed. Then you don't even have the decency to really acknowledge your error(s). What is a 10% discoun? You essentially got paid full price for horrible service. I saw the reviews about this cleaners. I see at one time it was ran wel. The new owners need to keep that going and not continue to shame the former owners name. read more

Owner is lovely, personally came out to Introduce herself Excellent location, business has been there for few decades read more

They have ruined every single piece of quality clothing I have brought to them. Since Kim sold the business, they have taken on too much work have grown too big too fast and they do not have the people to keep up with it. They are losing tickets. They are losing clothes. They are destroying clothes and treating them like rags. It's too bad because this used to be such a quality business. read more

I brought in my skiing pants to REPLACE the zipper. I am told to pick it up a week later. I pay $17.50 for it. I pick it up before my trip and put it on when I'm Colorado: zipper is still broken. I call right away and Kim herself tells me I can bring it back. That's no help, I wanted to prevent snow in my pants on the trip. I bring back the pants and am told to pick up the week after. Two days after the supposed to pick up day, it is still not fixed. Another week later I come to pick it up: SAME ZIPPER. I basically threw money into the trash, wasted gas and time on this fuckery. read more

Kims Valet Cleaners - Avoid this place at all time - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Miami, Florida

The W has been bringing our dry cleaning to Kim's at NE 51st and Biscayne for a very long time. Kim's also does light tailoring for missing buttons etc. There is a large parking lot in front that is never full. read more

I like that this place is locally-owned and have been coming here for years. However the last few times I have been here, the workers have had a very hard time locating the clothes that have been dropped off. Round and round the clothes carousel goes... while people are waiting in long lines and are told to come back so staff can find the clothing. Not willing to come back much longer unless there is improvement in this. read more

BEWARE of the SMILE!!! As many reviewers have noted, the owner is the sweetest and most personable woman in the world, however you should beware the extremely high prices, none of which are printed on your receipt when you drop off your garments, only when you pick them up and after the fact. I was charged $40 to clean suede shirt and replace a button... The shirt was soft as warm butter when I gave it to her and it was returned feeling like 90 grit sandpaper!!!. And... they didn't even repair the button!!! Also, everyone of my business shirts that I paid $4.50 each (most cleaners are $2.50 -$3.50) to have laundered are shrunken (selves) to the point I can no longer wear them. Very nice lady but in my opinion HORRIBLE service (not her, the actual service) and very predatory business practices. read more

I've been here twice with last minute request for tailoring and same day cleaning needs. The staff was polite, helpful, and accommodating to help me meet emergency deadlines on 2 separate days. The quality of the results met and exceeded my standards. I will return and continue to use their services. Great and helpful business to have in the community. read more

This business is sucks because of the staff the only staff member that make sure u clothes is done and ready is Evelyn! The owner Kim will try to accommodate next day orders but it be the staff to mess up so if u wanna try them go ahead but just make Evelyn is their to handle it... she a Haitian lady just in case somebody try to take her shine in there read more

Apparently, unlike the other reviewers, I am not rich, or maybe I am more budget conscious. This place is a major rip off, especially for an area like Edgewater/Wynwood! I have never been to a more expensive dry cleaner. $7 to dryclean a pair of regular, cotton pants? They are out of their mind! Most places charge $3-$5 for this same service (and even $5 is a bit on the pricey side), but $7 is ridiculous, unless you live on Fisher Island. Their alterations are also VERY expensive compared to what I paid in Hialeah and in The Falls area. I'd rather drive the 7 miles to Hialeah and get alterations done for half the price of this place! I'll be sure to never use this place and will NOT recommend them to anyone, unless they are rich and wanting to waste their money just for the hell of it. read more

The absolute worst. Dropped of clothes on a Thursday afternoon, asked for a Saturday afternoon pickup, and was charged $8 for rush service ($1 per item). Arrive on Saturday after 2pm, the agreed upon rush time, and printed on the receipt, to find the clothes weren't done. After waiting for 15 minutes so they could find my clothes, they came out to ask what color was my third shirt. They had misplaced it, in the rush to find my other clothes. This is all happening while I'm there, and had been charged $8 for rush service. So after 30 minutes in total, the clothes were ready, and I was offered an $8 credit to the account, not an $8 refund. No need for the credit on the account, I will not return. Save yourself the trouble, don't go here. read more

The owner & staff are so sweet! Honestly, treat people with kindness and understanding and you will receive the same treatment. I've been driving to this dry cleaners for a few months from downtown after I became fed up with our pick up services pricing. I'm so glad that I made the switch. The owner truly treats everyone like family. When she found out that I got married, she came out from behind the counter and gave me a hug wishing me all the happiness in my marriage. Yes, the turn around time is a few days but that is pretty typical for Miami. They go above and beyond for their customers. If you really need something same day, they will find a way to make it work. read more

Excellent dry cleaner. Never had a single stain or wrinkle not taken care of. Also, the alterations are very well done at a reasonable price. Even the shoe repairs are excellent. Plus, Kim is extremely fair in her dealings - once my wife took a pair of shoes in to get the sole replaced. Instead of doing unnecessary work, Kim just replaced the part that needed replacing instead of performing work and charging for work that wasn't needed. And Sparky (her dog), with his massive underbite, is like the mascot of Kims' and really cute too. read more

Top notch. Clothes cleaned on premises. With care. No strong smell. I like the way white clothes are handled. It takes a little longer than other clothes. However, no graying. My fanciest dresses are treated with love. The buttons are wrapped. Pressed well without burning or flattening within an inch of their lives. I recommend this establishment without reservation. I am willing to pay the higher prices. Everything is done by hand. No huge machine damaging your clothes. I recommend this cleaners without reservation. read more

Worst cleaners I've been been too. Sky high prices 8$ per shirt. Worst service. Stay away

Very Very disappointed in the service I received. I asked before going if they cleaned upholster pillows. "Yes we clean anything" was the answer. The 2 large chair pillows came back very discolored and lumpy. I knew they had to remove the covers to wash them. But it looks like no attempt was made to re-stuff properly and the color was severely faded. They are no longer close to being comfortable to sit on. The two smaller throw pillows covers were cover in lint. How could they return all of these such this condition. I'm taking them all back pronto. I have had clothing cleaned there many times in the last 5 years without any problems. Stay Tuned......Will follow up with the out come. read more

Kim is a master at getting out stains, there is nobody like her for that. She's on a million & you won't find old school school expertise and customer service like this anywhere else in Miami. The best for getting your high end garments cleaned & altered. read more

When it comes to dry cleaning, I try to keep it as close to the house as possible, otherwise, it's like sending the clothes that have been riding around like a hostage in my trunk for weeks on a three-week vacation. (Read: I'm beyond lazy at dropping off and picking back up.) In fact, I'm probably the reason they invented those deadlines for retrieving your clothes. Luckily, Kim's is smack dab in the middle of my hood. The prices are great, the return time is fast and Kim is a doll. Dry cleaning aside, Kim also sells a variety of Girl Scout cookies when they are in season (to help out neighborhood kids), should you need an emergency fix. But my favorite thing about Kim's is Sparky, her dog, who eagerly awaits a pet and a scratch from each passing patron. Good service, Girl Scout cookies and a cute dog? Sounds like a win-win to me. read more

Kim treats everyone like family. In this world you getbwhat you pay for. Yes she is expensive, but yes her work is flawless!

Ms. Kim is one of those rare jewels in Miami. She remembers your name, asks about your family, and gives you hugs. She always takes care of my tailoring and is very fair. She never overcharges, and even shows me ways to save money with alterations. She is a self-made woman who genuinely loves her business and her clients. You can probably find a cheaper tailor in the depths of Hialeah, but for someone who will never nickle-and-dime you, and treats you and your clothing as if you were family- go to Ms. Kim's. read more

Very friendly staff who took care of my wedding dress and did a great job removing the dirt. I'd recommend them

So my first time going there, and the place is very busy. I wasn't told when my items would be ready. I went to pick up my dresses and the lady at the front couldn't find them, she just told me to go home and she would call me. She didn't, I had to call her, and she was so dismissive about the whole thing, and just told me, "your stuff is ready for pick up",so rude; never going back.!! read more

Convenient location, easy to park, fair prices, and friendly staff. They also do a good job with the dry cleaning and the alterations.

Dry cleaning is consistently good, but what I love them for the most is their alterations. I've had two pairs of jeans--both selvedge, one raw denim--hemmed and tapered. Done and finished PERFECTLY and usually within a few days. Love this place. Also helps that everyone is super friendly. read more
