Moving to Miami a year ago I went through my share of trial and error with finding customer care and quality workmanship with some of my service essentials. After 2 disappointing dry cleaning experiences elsewhere, Michael Angeles has been such a find. Lizzie has helped me on multiple occasions with delicate fabrics removing stains or scents accumulated through other people's perfume or just regular wear, and without piling on a bunch of new scents (chemicals) to cover it up - as I experienced previously. I'm very sensitive to scented cleaners and she really took the time to go through the process with the right products and 2x if necessary to get it done. It makes all the difference when you can count on someone with your favorite high-end pieces to do the job right. Do not come here. They ruined multiple pieces including a $2000.00 new white suit that was worn for 2 hours. We took this suit to them to clean because it was wrinkled. It not only was returned with stains but it was pressed incorrectly. They said they would fix it so we left it with them for a second time. Nothing changed. Any reputable dry cleaner would refund the cost of the new suit, but not here. She challenged us saying she had a video of her pointing out the stains. We gave her weeks to find this video and she could not and said she would not pay for the suit. We also brought a mens blazer in with a stain for her to remove and she could not. The only job of a dry cleaner is to take away stains and work with a variety of fabrics. She could not do that. Extremely disappointed. read more

I debated posting this review for a year because the owner, Lizzie, is TERRIFYING. When I went to pick up my clothes she was getting aggressive with her daughter, who happened to be in the store. They were screaming so loudly, to the point that other local business workers OUTSIDE the store were concerned. This behavior from the owner is extremely unprofessional. Some things were not ready by my pickup date, so I had to return 2 other times and still did not get all my clothes. They did not return a white dress. I paid $40 for cleaning and repair and I never got it back. I've been too scared to return after the incident. read more

The only place I will ever trust with my laundry. I used to go to a place called Sudsies, but I feel as though they overcharge with unnecessary and astronomically high service cleaning fees. All in which, this place can easily do, for a literal fraction of the price. Upon my first arrival there, I was greeted with a smile, and was assured that everything would be taken of and I definitely was. The same exact service sudsies did, these wonderful people did. And in my opinion, I think even better. I'm very anxious when it comes to others handling my high-quality pieces in my closet. I've been here twice. My first time was a great experience she was fast and reliable but it was just for a quick press. It's my second time here I dropped off my piece on Tuesday the 30th of may. They told me it would be ready by the June 3rd which is a Saturday at 5pm I went in early to check on my piece that I needed alterations for around 4pm. She said they haven't started on it yet and stated she will call me when it's ready and she will be staying inside the store very late tonight. So I waited on a call, I NEVER Got a Call. I came by around 6:30pm considering she said she would be here late. No one was there, no one answers the phone. The phone number is a magic jack number. When I say I am so frustrated with this entire thing because I really expected her to call me when my piece was ready. NO CALL! I even told her that I had to be at the airport at 8am for a flight she said no worries she will call me no call at all! AS I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW I SEE COPS COME. She literally called the cops after ignoring the door. And my SKIRT STILL ISNT DONE. A TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME. SHE HAD MY SKIRT SINCE TUESDAY. This is bullshit !!! I will never come back here I will let everyone know how bullshit the service is here As a black woman I was literally scared for my life as I sat in my car and watch 8 cops looking for me when all I did was come for my property. One cop even had his gun out when they were looking. I didn't seem much of a threat to the cops because they walked right past my car and my windows aren't tinted. AS A BLACK PERSON In general I was afraid for my life when I saw that. This business put my life and my freedom in danger all because they are unresponsive and not true to their word and customer service. I am so hurt and broken inside right now that this even happened to me. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE OR Recommend this place to others . I came in on a Saturday to get my engagement photoshoot dress taken in and it was ready for me to try on by Monday. Liz and her team made the dress look perfect!
