Came here for international Womens Day! I'm happy to support a woman owned business! Coffee- I had the cold brew, which was great! I also tried their maple pastry, which was also good. Cozy environment I saw some people having the avocado toast that had different varieties, which looked great and I can't wait to come back to try.! there's also outdoor seating great place to hang out. Do some work, read a book or have coffee with friends. They have merch. They also of our free coffee grounds for gardening or compost. There's also a donation then for helping others. I can't wait to come back and try.

One of my colleagues likes to order from here so I decided to try it! They have gift cards and can accommodate large orders for gatherings! Cute place! Lots of options gluten free, and plant based available as well. Erin was a very nice barista and was patient with my order. I will be back!

Brought my boys in to try some yummy pastries! The service is always friendly and welcoming, it's a nice quiet coffee house. Smell of coffee hits you when you walk in the best smell to wake you up, followed by some fresh baked goods. They got to try a coffee cake which they loved.. had to fight em off cus that one was mine hahah.. they each got a cinnamon roll and said they loved it, and i hve some picky eaters let me tell you. Stopped by this spot accidentally last week and I'm so glad I did! I ended up trying their cinnamon swirl pastry and it was super tasty. I haven't tried the coffee yet, but seeing other people's drinks they looked amazing. I ordered the fuzzy peach iced tea and it was really good. Definitely a cute spot I'd come back to try more from the menu! Their breakfast burritos looked tasty.

came here right before work and the staff was very nice. they gave me a fresh muffin from the bakery because they had just opened for the day. the nitro cold brew was very strong even with flavor added so i couldn't taste the flavor

Stopped in today for the first time while I was out running errands. The owner greeted me right away and took the time to offer several suggestions - including a blended coconut pineapple coffee drink, which I ultimately went with. It was a fun summer coffee drink and I'm excited to return to try out the many pastries. They partner with Peixoto for their coffee beans. The coffee shop had a decent amount of seating inside, including a highchair for little ones. There is also patio seating. Overall a great spot with great people!

I enjoyed my quick stop here at Kind Bean. The hospitality here is through the roof. Kind Bean is a husband and wife owned business that serves organic coffee, cold drinks, amazing pastries and desserts. They even have vegan options. I love Peixoto coffee and was happy to see that they use their coffee beans here. I was greeted the minute I walked into this place. I used to live a couple miles from here when I lived in Chandler and never knew about this place. I am bummed that I didn't discover Kind Bean sooner.

This is the cutest little spot and is conveniently located a quick drive from our home! They have a ton of pastries, coffee drinks, and lots of cooked food items, as well! The staff was very friendly and my fiance and I both ordered hot food which was provided quickly for us (with options for dine in and take out)! I also enjoyed their 'Daily Tea' which was Fuzzy Peach (there was another option as well) alongside a Loaded Burrito with a side of green salsa. We will definitely be back to this cute spot!

These are the two cinnamon rolls that I bought this morning.

I have been going to this establishment for a couple years: providing a treat for my son with severe allergies. However, since being sold, am forced to publish an unflattering review. Under new ownership, Kind Bean doesn't sell products of consistent quality, varieties have been reduced to a minimum, and the workers are unexperienced and untrained. Also, if the ordering system is working (a 50-50 proposition), one isn't guaranteed that the pre-order will be fulfilled the next day. In summary, this business is failing its returning customers and demolishing the work of the original owners. To the owners, this is a wake-up call: Are you business owners or investors? Decisively decide; govern yourself accordingly. Please.

Today was my first time trying the Kind Bean since COVID. I was excited to come try it out since I remember it being amazing. I got their peppermint latte and my friend got the Black Forest (which is a black cherry latte). While the coffee was not very strong, it tasted okay and the barista making the drinks was very friendly. What made me sad was a lack of a holiday menu. Coffee shops everywhere have these amazing menus that include fun holiday drinks--that wasn't the case here. The saving grace for this visit was the avocado toast which was delicious! 2 slices of toast with avocado, olive oil, and fresh lemon. The seating inside was nice and enjoyable!

Went in with partner for a late morning community meeting. We purposely choose this place to meet after exploring the website and feeling the magic love that Clay and Jen are spreading with their local family owned cafe. Love this place! Come in at least once a week. Owners are super sweet. They try hard to learn everyone's name. Their baked goods are to die for. I love the pie scones. I've had the blueberry and cherry and love both! Their hot dirty chia is my favorite drink but I've tried several others and never had a bad one. Have not tried the toast yet but it's on my list. read more

I went into the kind bean after my kids brought home a cinnamon roll that was amazing. I have a daughter that's transitioning from vegetarian to vegan, when she told me it was vegan I had to go see what else they had. The owners greeted me with such Delight and took a few minutes of their day to welcome me. The chocolate covered marshmallows were to die for, I don't remember the name of the coffee but it had mint in it absolutely delicious. I think the prices are very reasonable for the product and the atmosphere is inviting. I can't wait to bring friends here and try new items on their menu. Finally a coffee shop that's not so commercial that you actually spend time talking to new neighbors instead of having your head in a laptop read more

Kind bean is everything you want in a small local coffee shop. I have never been disappointed in the coffee and their fresh pastries are consistently amazing. Despite all this what stands out most is the service. Every single employee seems to love what they do. The owners are almost always there and are always active and involved in preparing orders and connecting with customers. I love going here! read more

I was looking forward to stopping here, and I'm glad I did!! The atmosphere, service, and food/drinks are amazing. I gave them a rough description of what I like for coffee and sweets and they made me a masterpiece. I'm recommending Kind Bean to family, friends, coworkers, you name it. Kind Bean is one of my favorite places to get coffee and pastries! The caramel macchiato has an amazing and unique taste, way better than any chain like Starbucks or Dunkin'. Also, the botanical infusions are not only sugar free and caffeine free, but they are so refreshing; the strawberry lemon and fuzzy peach are my favorites. I can't even describe their pastries, they are out of this world! They have the best cinnamon rolls and scones that I have ever had. If you go on a day where they serve banana muffins, get them! You will not regret it! Also make sure you follow @thekindbean on Instagram because they post the pastries that were made that day because you will not want to miss when your favorite pastries are in shop! Not just the food and drinks at Kind Bean are fantastic but the overall environment is just as fantastic. The service there is top notch. Every time I walk in, I get greeted by each of the workers and the fact that they remember my name shows that they all care about their customers. They always come around to check how the food and drinks are to make sure that we like them. Kind Bean is always my go to place to do any work on the computer or to simply catch up with a friend. Kind Bean is the perfect name for this coffee shop because every single person there is kind. I have never experienced better service at any other place than Kind Bean. One of my favorite Mom and Pop places. The couple that run the place are so friendly. Everyone who works there is super nice! Drinks are great and I love their scones and cinnamon rolls. Only downside is we moved and now they're further away, but worth it! read more

This is the best new place and it's right in my neighborhood! Besides the usual coffees, they do their own vegan baked goods in house. I enjoyed the best cinnamon swirl. Jen and the other girls working were sweet as can be! I got the bbq + tomato basil toast combo, and well as a chocolate dipped cone that was rolled in crushed Oreos as the vehicle for an amazing chocolate/vanilla swirled soft serve. Sooo happy to have this establishment on this side of town!!!! read more

Went here about a month ago while visiting family and I still can't stop thinking about how great their toasts are. Living in California, avocado toast is a staple here, but their avocado toast truly holds a special place in my heart. Their danish toast is also to die for!! This little coffee shop in a strip mall is deceiving...driving up you wouldn't think much, but the fresh baked good, house made chocolate treats and coffee are sooooo good. Staff is very friendly, too! I'm so glad to have the Kind Bean so close to home! read more

I just stumbled on the Kind Bean for the first time today. I walked in, and the owner Clay greeted me, told me all about their menu/home made pastries and recommended a speciality drink! I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Lemon Lavender Scone, and WOW. I am SO impressed! Best customer service AND amazing coffee/sweet treats! They even have an app, you can preorder from, for those days you're in a hurry! I can't wait to come back and try their bruschetta and all of their coffee drinks! First time in, husband and wife owners were very welcoming. The minute we stepped in the door we got helped and told about the whole menu. Pastries and food is all very fresh and vegan. If you have a special place in your heart for fresh homemade pastries you're coming to the right spot and have to try the blueberry lemon scone truly made with love! I ordered a cold brew with pumpkin in it to try something new as I wanted to twist my normal pumpkin spice latte up and although it was delicious, it wasn't quite what I thought it would be & they knew I wasn't in love with the drink and wanted to make sure I loved my drink as I received a remade pumpkin spice latte without even asking. Wow.. lost for words! I recently found out I have a dairy allergy so adjusting to this new lifestyle hasn't been the easiest! I was looking for dairy free pastries on Yelp and the Kind Bean was a hit so I thought I'd give it a try, so glad I did!!! The owner was amazing, explained their background and let me know everything was house made which I love! I haven't had a satisfying dessert since switching to a non dairy diet and I am blown away! Their chocolate chip scone is to die for! Can't even tell there's no dairy. And I got a nitro cold brew with vanilla and coconut milk, just as delicious! Stopped by for the first time today as we noticed this place close to our house and we decided to try it out. I'm an avid Starbucks drinker and their Dirty Chai puts Starbucks to shame. They have so many good coffee options, baked goods, and other food and I can't wait to try the rest out. The inside is really nice and finished well. A nice place to sit with my wife and enjoy some coffee or lunch. We will be regulars for sure, and will gladly rather come here than Starbucks. read more

Delicious!! This was my first time at Kind Bean and I was not disappointed. I went mainly for the pastries, from what someone posted on Facebook they are really good. I got a mocha chip scone, vanilla scone and a cinnamon spiral and they were all so good I wish I got more. The scones are so soft. I got a caramel macchiato and I have to say it's as good as the big name places and I usually don't like other coffee shops drinks. I will definitely be back! read more

Wow. This place is amazing. I've eaten there a lot since they've opened and never been disappointed. The roasts are spectacular. The pastries are even better- best scones I've ever had in my life. I am addicted- I also love how there are soooo many new flavors daily for scones and muffins. Also one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever eaten. Just wow. Can't compliment this place enough! Loved it! I'm not even Vegan! Wouldn't matter because it doesn't compromise the flavor at all! Great customer service! Coffee drinks were great and not over priced! Would like to see small plates with 2 or 3 sampling items like a burrito w a cinnamon bun. I'll hold off on 5 stars until I return again--soon!! read more

Today was our first time to visit this new coffee shop in Chandler. What a treat!! The atmosphere is casual, warm & welcoming. The staff and owners were super friendly and helpful. They answered the questions that we had about selection, ingredients, and provided helpful recommendations. We arrived just before closing so it wasn't too busy, just a nice steady flow of customers. We don't necessarily eat vegan but we were pleasantly surprised when ordering a vegan cinnamon roll that it was by far the most amazing thing ever. It was super moist with just the right amount of sweetness. My husband was a little disappointed that I enjoyed it so quickly as he didn't get more than a bite to share with me. My daughter tried a salad and said it was good also. The scones and coffee were all very flavorful. We will definitely be back soon! This would be a great place to stop in for a quick drink or treat while the kids are at KTR or to meet up with friends for coffee. read more

Coffee is a necessity. Either to force your brain to function or to persuade yourself your awake. Whatever coffee it is, it may give you the effect you require. However, if you are a person who sees coffee as a necessity and a reason to be encouraged for the day, you need a well-prepared coffee. It is this shop! If you like coffee that doesn't give you coffee breath afterwards; that stimulates your enzymes; makes you feel so pampered; and that amazes you of how great your coffee hour was then, go visit this coffee shop. read more

I know they're vegetarian, but I wanted to double check with her. She responds as "vegetarian means no meat, right"? All employees working at a food establishment should know what vegetarian means. This was quite baffling to hear. I asked her for a new slice because the one that was out on display was visibly burned and the other slice was touching pepperoni from the meat pizza. As mentioned, I'm a vegetarian. Therefore, I could not have either one of those slices. She proceeds to say that's how the pizzas are. They are slightly burned because they are so sourdough. While I can accept this answer, I do not accept the fact that she would not be willing to give me another slice as a paying customer. She insensitively said she can't give me a new one until all the old slices are taken up. She mentioned that this is their procedure. According to this, they are saying that they will not provide a proper product unless the old, damaged product, or unacceptable by the customer is used up first. If this is their business model, then it is apparent they do not value customer service. This business should have the competence to understand that if they want to sell a product, they cannot sell it in a condition that the customer is not satisfied with. Most importantly, being a vegetarian, they should have the sensitivity to understand that if a slice is touching the meat product then they cannot consume it. And again, the employee completely disregarded my health and religious beliefs by not accommodating me. You usually won't encounter problems when you're just trying to buy bread. However, it reflects on the business's employees greatly when there is a problem and they do not value customer service by resolving or accommodating the customer's satisfaction. I will be switching to Noble exclusively. Especially since it's so readily available at the farmers markets and stores.

Wife had mac and cheese with hers and she said it was creamy and flavorful and loved it. I had read reviews about the carrot cake so we decided to just eat half of our meals, taking home the leftovers for next day feasting. Ok, this carrot cake is dense, sweet, and had good flavor but the over abundance of frosting made it really, really sweet! We both had a few bites and decided to bring the rest home. The restaurant itself is nicely done, upscale feel but yet not stuffy. The staff was friendly and again, our server was fantastic...thank you Skylar! In the neighborhood and came with my coffee nerd friend. As soon as you walk in, the wonderful ladies will happily great you and truly make you feel welcome! Not a bad atmosphere for the space they are working with (or vibes as they say). The name of the coffee shop could not be more accurate. The folks at Kind are so friendly, caring and gracious. I stop here for my caffeine fix every time I'm in town.
