I started going to this coffee shop on weekends because I like supporting locally owned small businesses. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the coffee is smooth and enjoyable. My biggest concern is the pricing. Only the regular-size drink prices are displayed, so ordering a larger size can come as an unpleasant surprise. Paying over $8.50 for a 20 oz pour-over coffee feels excessive. Another issue is the limited restroom capacity. There is only one bathroom, and wait times can sometimes be quite long, especially during busy periods. The shop also struggles during the summer months. The air conditioning doesn't seem capable of keeping the space comfortable, and it can become uncomfortably hot inside. I appreciate supporting local businesses and enjoy the coffee and customer service, but the high prices, lack of transparent sizing costs, restroom limitations, and uncomfortable indoor temperatures make it difficult to justify visiting as often as I'd like. read more

Modern coffee shop with plenty of seating and space. I went first thing in the morning on my way to work and there were only two other customers n the shop with me, and there were two baristas. Even though there wasn't a lot of people, the service was surprisingly slow. The staff were extremely friendly though. I ordered a Robin with Oatmilk and a fruit danish. The fruit danish was delicious and flaky, but it was way overpriced which I didn't find out until the barista was entering it into the cash register. Transparency for the cost of food items was lacking, there was no prices listed for the bakery items. The Robin with oatmilk was okay, the coffee taste itself was pretty good, but I couldn't taste any of the infused lavendar flavor at all in the drink. It tasted like it was a plain latte, not what they advertised. I don't recommend ordering this drink. Overall I personally wasn't impressed with Sagebrush, and I probably won't be coming back. read more

11/07/2025 Dropped in to check out Sagebrush for the first time and try their seasonal drinks. It was about 10:30am on a Friday, and the White Pumpkin was already unavailable. The Forager was not even on the menu, but it is on their website. The baristas were very courteous and patient with us as we tried to decide. I got an iced Matcha Latte ($8) with almond milk (+$0.75), unsweetened. There were no other size options - I think it's 16 oz. My friend got an iced Flavored Latte ($6) with vanilla and a Cardamom Bun. Both drinks were good. I tried some of the bun, and it was delicious! My friend liked the bun so much that she went back the next day for another. We sat on the couch and chatted for a while. There were quite a few people sitting at tables chatting with friends or working on their laptops. The layout is very open with a large space for customers and behind the counter as well. read more

This place is so good! The coffee here is the reason why I can't drink just any coffee. It's so flavorful and just bursting with fruit and spices. This time I had the Ethiopian, Mira Coffee, from Morkata Gata. I honestly could taste the mango and coconut as if I was drinking mango and coconut. I really enjoyed my experience at Sagebrush! The seasonal menu offered unique flavor combinations like nonalcoholic rum and butterscotch or blackberry and mint. The coffee drinks are strong and flavorful and the sweetness from the flavors is very balanced. The coffee shop is pretty large inside with ample seating ranging from small tables to more family-style long picnic tables. One of my favorite coffee spots to get work done! I tried the Blue Milk Tea and my boyfriend went with the Martha. The Blue Milk Tea has an earthy flavor, though it comes off a bit diluted, but the Martha was absolutely delicious. Their coffee is also a must-try. I love that there are plenty of tables and lots of outlets, making it a great spot to get some work done. The vibes are lovely, and parking is easy since it's in a small plaza. The coconut sage latte id Probably the best latte I've ever had. I order I also ordered a fruit and cheese danish. My latte came out quickly but the danish did take awhile to come out. The coffee shop is really big and contemporary. They have several displays showing how they process their beans which is cool. It's very evident that they are passionate about their craft. This place is super neat. It is in a complex that's of an older aesthetics vibe. Several types of small businesses surround this shop and plenty of parking within the shopping plaza is a plus! This establishment is a large space, with lots of seating indoors & out. It's got a big prep area towards the back and inviting counter up front. Order at the counter, while your drink is being prepared. Offering coffees, tea's & a few fresh pastries too! Roasts are produced and cultivated in Guatemala, El Salvador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica. You can shop the store for these bagged coffee bean products as well. When doing so, look for unique names on the label from these producers. Pickers can be chosen & their name can appear within the packaging from those areas these blends come from. The drinks we ended up getting were: Cloudy, Caramel Latte & a season Peanut Butter Pretzel Coffee. They were all very good, novel and tasted just as described. The best out of all of them (to all of us) was the Cloudy. It was a wonderful fresh light citrus flavor. Only thing to note was that it was fairly pricey for the amount of ounces per cup. To much ice is always my gripe though. LOL The staff were engaging and actually helpful in our selections. The nicest thing was that after our visit, I received an email from the owner thanking us for visiting and gave a personal run down of just how this business came to be! Absolutely love this coffee shop! It's spacious with lots of natural lighting and plenty of tables/seats for casual hangouts or to get some work done. Both were delicious and super smooth with light sweetener which were perfect for my husband and I. The coffee and beans were not cheap but you can taste the quality of the beans. Sagebrush might have just become my favorite coffee shop in Chandler. I've tried a few drinks off their signature menu, but the Scooter is something totally different and out of this world. It's flavored with caramel, banana and bourbon infusions, and cinnamon -- and it comes out totally balanced, incredibly aromatic, and smooth. I promise it's worth a shot even if you're not a bourbon drinker (I recommend it with oat milk). The rest of their menu is filled with creative and desert-inspired flavors too, from creosote essence to orange blossom syrup. I love the Roxie and Robin. Plus, they roast their beans in-house and host cupping classes, so the team definitely knows their stuff. Definitely will be back to hang out again! Sagebrush is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Chandler. Every time I go, my drink is consistent, the flavor is great, and the staff are super friendly. The 'Scooter' latte has an amazing fresh banana flavor without being too overpowering. My husband usually gets tea, and every drink is nothing short of amazing, especially since none of the flavors taste artificial. What really gets me is the space. It's open, there are LOTS of spots for charging devices, and you can tell they were very intentional about creating a place for people working on laptops as well as comfy chairs and couches for the casual coffee sipper. Update: I've been coming here for years on the weekends. We repeated our orders twice. It took twenty minutes to get our pumpkin bread and another ten minutes afterwards for our coffee. They put whole milk in my coffee instead of almond milk. A little frustrating. They used to get their bakery items from Essence Bakery. Their morning buns which this shop no longer sells were delicious and different. You do have to sign up online for the workshop and pay. It's in a smaller room. That could be a problem for some people. read more

I've had this place bookmarked for a while and was excited to give it a try! They have a great menu, with seasonal features, signature beverages, classics options, including a generous option of teas. The space it bright, open with ample seating and a very cool merchandise section with various coffee tools and what not. They also have a pastry case for light snacks, though I did not indulge! The barista was friendly enough and I inquires on a matcha latte, I asked what it was sweetened with, and she said vanilla simple syrup, I asked if I could do honey instead, which she told me no, just could not and it's against their policy to modify beverages. Okay, I get quality control, I get speciality or featured beverages that they craft, but classic beverages, or minor modifications I don't really get. Especially, because I prefer sweetness to come from a. Slightly better source, such as honey and I also think it just pairs better with beverages such as matcha. I did order still, and they do use high quality ingredients and milk, but I find something as minor as substituting to my sweetener of choice or not modifying any basic coffee beverages, just seems weird as a coffee shop. Though as they have mentioned in other reviews, it's their style and I can appreciate wanting to stick with certain practices and qualities, but at the end of the day, people's flavor preferences are relative, so it's sort of hard to measure or have a perfect recipe with something so preferential. I'd be interested in visiting again and trying a beverage that perhaps to aligns with my palette more altogether. If you don't have a preference in general, definitely worth a visit, if you like to make very specific and lots of modifications, probably not the best fit. read more

The menu had a huge variety of coffees and teas - definitely want to try their unique loose leaf teas next time. I tried the martha latte (almond with white chocolate ganache) which was $6.75 plus 75 cents for oat milk. Came with pretty latte art and tasted great! I also got the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie which I was very impressed with as well. Unfortunately I went later in the afternoon (on a Thursday), so there were only two pastry options in the case. Was pretty busy when I arrived around 2 and then emptied out around 3-4. Met up with a friend here last week for some Joe and conversation. I drink very basic black coffee; no cream, no sugar. My friend, a self proclaimed "coffee snob" recommended it. It was 9:30am. I ordered a large black coffee and she told me they had gone through all their drip coffee for the day. Huh?!?! She suggested an americano instead and I said yes. She then changed her mind and started talking to me about some pour over coffee and it's history, etc. I look at her and tell her I'll have whatever is the closest to a black coffee Fast forward 10 minutes and I'm brought some glass pot with minimal coffee on a wood board. There were some notes about altitude and soil, but no real interesting facts about what I was drinking. The "pot" also had no lid so I used the coffee plate to try and keep the heat in. It didn't work that great and honestly I wasn't a fan of the actual coffee. I'm sure it's good coffee, I just personally wasn't a fan. The shop inside didn't really have much of a vibe at all; kind of sterile. I will say the couch was comfortable and there was a cool coffee table book with pictures of downtown Phoenix from the 60's-80's. Otherwise color me unimpressed. read more

Really enjoyed this spot. Came in on a Saturday afternoon was kindly greeted. Ordered a strawberry bergamot latte and my hubs got a black cold brew. The strawberry bergamot latte was very well balanced with a slight sweetness and strong notes of bergamot. The cold brew was also very well balanced and had no acidity or "penny taste" as I like to call it. Also, the ice they use for their drinks seems of good quality, large clear cubes that take a while to melt. They offer a great selection of pastries, loose leaf teas of many varieties, and some cool custom merch. The space is surprisingly big and plenty of tables to study/work at. This is high-quality coffee served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. The seating space is a bright and minimalist area. It was a very comfortable space to enjoy a simple pour-over coffee and pastry. They serve a variety of coffee drinks but with beans and prep done so well, why not just stick with - coffee? Kudos for the delicious and serious fun pop tarts! An added bonus - they have a monthly roasting tour, cupping sit-in, and beginner latte art workshop. The workshop does sell out quickly and I have yet to partake in that. Sagebrush has been on my list to try for awhile. It did not disappoint! The menu is unique and definitely southwestern leaning with the creosote ingredient especially. All of their syrups and flavors seem to be made in-house which I love. I love an herby latte so I tried the seasonal Sweet Pine which has simple syrup, pine syrup, and piñon oil. It was very festival and wintry tasting. I liked it but I wished there was just another flavor note in there to accompany the pine flavor like light citrus or almond.
