The coconut cold brew and the coconut latte on the right
    Roicia B.

Let me tell you. It's been days and I'm still thinking about this latte!! We are from out of town and went back to another location the next day, it was so refreshing under that heat! The espresso is so tasty and the drinks were both sweet enough but not too sweet?! Just perfection!

Matcha with cherry vanilla and oat milk
    Kristina C.

Cute coffee shop with fun flavors! Husband got the banana brulee latte which was light but still sweet. I had a matcha with their cherry vanilla foam on top with a maraschino cherry and it was SO GOOD !! One of my new favorite flavor combinations. Glad my sister recommended this place, would come back! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior was cute and spacious and the service was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A surprisingly homey and cozy coffee shop in Historic Chandler, considering its size and location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was no line to order and barely any wait before we got our drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Most of the numerous chairs, tables, couches and counters were occupied by people working, meeting or catching up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The cashier who took our order was awesome. Her name is Harley Quinn by the way! The barista was great and her giant smile made my morning. The HOT LATTE is strong. The MATCHA was not too sweet so I could actually taste the matcha.

    Coffee love for sale!

Great local but not local coffee roast house in the heart of downtown Chandler. Peixoto coffee comes from a family of 4th generation coffee growers who grow in Brazil and ship directly to their coffee house! Their motto is "From our family to yours". They sell coffees and a variety of beans. I took some home. Tip: they will grind whole beans you purchase if you don't have a grinder. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The WiFi was screaming in a typical WiFi low access area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Staff were friendly and the coffee house was dog friendly as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    The tiniest matcha latte
    Marilen R.

Got my regular matcha latte but they did not have almond milk so subbed with oat milk , which I didn't mind so much. Actually tasted great. However the small is extremely tiny. Looks like maybe 8 oz cup and I spent over $8. Regardless, no other coffee shops around downtown Chandler serves matcha, so I was glad to see it on the menu. Service was pleasant.

Peixoto is a bit out of the way for me- I'm a Tempe resident, and it's located right in the heart of Downtown Chandler. However, I have been hearing and seeing good things, so my partner and I stopped in to get some work done on a weekday morning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop had plenty of seating but was definitely busy. Music was pleasant and not too loud (a big problem at a lot of modern coffee shops) The ambiance is nice- high ceilings, modern but welcoming decor and a large ordering area. Seating is comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was also welcoming and friendly. My partner got the Twilight nitro- the foam was good, but didn't have a discernible flavor other than a creamy sweetness. This was our least favorite drink of the three we tried. The presentation was great- the purple color and the glitter made it feel like a spooky fall drink. The nitro coffee had a strong and bold taste. The coffee and the foam were great individually, but the foam was slightly too thick to mix into the coffee evenly- leaving a few clumps of cream throughout. We didn't mind, but wouldn't get this drink again. However, this drink is a fall specialty and not available on the menu all the time, so I'm sure that some of the specialties are better than others. My kettle corn latte was delicious- salty, sweet, and the foam on top had a wonderful mouthfeel! This specialty latte was the highlight of the visit. For food, we shared an almond croissant from one of the bakeries they collaborate with- it was huge and delicious, with plenty of buttery layers and almond filling! Finally, my partner also got an (decaf by default, but can have a shot of espresso added) iced ube latte. It was very sweet while still maintaining the flavor of the actual sweet potato. Overall, we had a nice experience at Peixoto. We will be back to try the more regular menu items soon and this might become a semi-regular spot for us!

Amazing. A little pricey.... But honestly worth it. Such good coffee and pastries. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful shop in downtown Phoenix.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Quick service. Loved it and can't wait to come back.

I've been to peixoto a few time before but this last time was definitely my favorite! I ordered their coconut latte and it was SO yummy! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Peixoto is the perfect spot to work or study! Not too loud, but not too quiet... just right![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have indoor and outdoor seating and their wifi works great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love that it's located in downtown chandler!

    Cappuccino

While waiting for my oil change to be completed, I stopped into Peixoto in the Old Town Chandler district for a Cappuccino. The roast there own beans and serve in traditional Porcelain cups which is really great to use while relaxing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is definitely local coffee shop with a lot of great seating and many people sitting around having conversations including strangers next to me who were just meeting and talking while enjoying there drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their in house roasted coffee is amazing and while you can't really say you are chewing your coffee, the intense concentration of deep flavor almost made you feel that way. The people at the counter were also very friendly providing excellent service and adding to the atmosphere. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A great place for a quick stop or a lingering conversation with friends..............or strangers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Need to try their cold foam specialty drinks
    Luna S.

First time trying cold foam! I got the coconut with banana cold foam instead of the peanut butter that is the drink special right now. They frequently change their specialty drinks and they are unique and delicious! Love the glass touch. It's in downtown chandler so a nice ambiance with a buzz of people chatting and all the tables were taken but we got comfy chairs. Does seem to stay busy.

    Melanie P.

i got here on a saturday morning and i ordered a pistachio latte with macadamia milk and danny got a large hot mocha. i was greeted right away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]the vibe here is cozy and i love all the fresh plants.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]they have exposed brick walls which gives the place a fun feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] definitely recommend and will come back.

It's been years since I've stepped foot into this charming, cozy feel cafe & I'm so glad I found my way back. Tucked in the heart of downtown Chandler, Peixoto offers fresh & locally roasted coffee perfect for all the coffee connoisseurs. I decided upon on the Sugar, Butter+Salt Latte from their limited time winter menu. This carefully crafted coffee offers a brown sugar butter caramel syrup which is then topped off with sweet & salty cookie crumbles. I was afraid it was going to be too sweet, but it was perfect! Subtle yet delightful, all these flavors blended together so well to create a drink that anyone would love! The service was fantastic and the gentleman helping us gave us a full rundown of their menu offerings in Spanish, which was very helpful. Peixoto is a wonderful place to gather together with a small group of friends, or to relax & get some of that work done.

    Emma N.

This place was good! A really nice place to sit and get coffee, and everyone working was very nice. There was lots of merch and coffee available for purchase. The free parking garage is a 2 minute walk from here. I came here on a Saturday morning during the Chandler farmers market and it was definitely busy. My friends and I were lucky to snag some tables for all 6 of us. They have standard coffee drinks and pastries to order. There was also a Spring menu with seasonal drinks. I tried the large iced cherry vanilla latte and enjoyed it, but didn't end up finishing all of it (not because it was bad, just too much coffee for me) and will probably order the smaller size next time.

Large latte!! Shop in the background!!!

    Are dogs permitted inside?

No, but they have seating outside. Not much shade though so we often take ours to the park.

    Do they serve hot chocolate?

    Yes they do 💜

    Is there a drive thru?

    No, there isn't.

Do they have a happy hour?

Do they sell cups, canteens, mugs with their logo on it?

They do have a variety of items with their logo on it, including mugs and shirts. Not sure, off the top of my head, if they sell cups & canteens.

Is the coffee served in mugs, cups? I'm not a fan of coffee or tea served in paper or plastic cups. Thanks to anyone who can answer this....

Yes, their hot drinks are served in ceramic mugs and iced drinks are served in glasses. That's one of the reasons why I love Peixoto! If you get your drink to go, they'll give you a great paper cup and they now have compostable straws for iced… Read more

I ordered the brown sugar coconut latte and it was sooooooo good. I would say it was my ideal cup of coffee! Service was not terrible, but wasn't notable. Be sure to stick around inside to get your coffee. They only bring your order to you if it's a pastry (at least that's what it seemed). It was pretty busy inside when my friend and I went, so we chose some chairs outside. They gave her a number for her pastry and brought it out, but we had to go up to the counter to find our drinks after waiting several minutes and wondering. That all would have been great info to know when ordering initially. Definitely will be returning! Side note: If you're familiar with downtown Chandler, this won't come as a surprise, but since I'm not a Chandler-regular, I was a little surprised at the lack of parking aside from parallel parking just in front of the actual coffee shop. Ended up parking in a free parking garage, but it was a little bit of a walk to the coffee shop from the parking garage.

I love seeing them working together... I love their coffees and drinks! However, the only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that their food menu is lacking and it takes so long to get it when you do order something. For instance I once ordered some sort of pastry I think it was banana bread, and it tasted like the Starbucks one that come prepackaged like airplane food and it took 35 minutes until it was delivered to my table. In addition to the regular entrance, they have a huge garage door access so on nicer days they can open up the seating area for fresh air and more of an outside but inside vibe. Staff were friendly barista hippie types but took a while for them to acknowledge us standing there even though there was no line. Ordered one hot tea and a seasonal coffee drink. Neither were great and their pricing is misleading. For example the seasonal drink was supposed to be $5.89 but was charged $7.65 and the tea was nothing more than a basic tealeaves in hot water. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the coffee is smooth and enjoyable. My biggest concern is the pricing. Only the regular-size drink prices are displayed, so ordering a larger size can come as an unpleasant surprise. Paying over $8.50 for a 20 oz pour-over coffee feels excessive. Another issue is the limited restroom capacity. There is only one bathroom, and wait times can sometimes be quite long, especially during busy periods. The shop also struggles during the summer months. The air conditioning doesn't seem capable of keeping the space comfortable, and it can become uncomfortably hot inside. I appreciate supporting local businesses and enjoy the coffee and customer service, but the high prices, lack of transparent sizing costs, restroom limitations, and uncomfortable indoor temperatures make it difficult to justify visiting as often as I'd like.

To put that to the test, I ordered the most sweet drink on the menu, the Turtle Pie, which I ordered as a shaken espresso. (You can get any of their coffee drinks as a latte, cold brew, or shaken espresso.) That drink comes with two shots of espresso, dark chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut. My wife ordered the Sweet & Salty as a latte, and it comes with two shots of espresso, maple, sea salt, and white chocolate. We each thought our drinks were just the right balance of coffee and sweetness, and the flavors really worked well. We were quite impressed. :) I am not in the area that often, but when I am, I will definitely be keeping Momentto in mind.
