I would 1000 percent recommend you to visit this salon. It is so inviting and the people working there are amazing. I came in with the worst hair you can imagine and left with my dream hair. I had gone to do my hair elsewhere because I wanted to look nice for my graduation photos and they absolutely messed up my hair. I had never hated the way I looked more and always kept my hair up. After coming to this salon I have never felt so good and confident. I honestly I did not think the style was realistic since my hair had been so damaged. I came back to update my review after majority of my lashes fell off within a week. Once I made my appointment for a fill in, the technician Akane texted me before my appointment asking me to tip her with cash or Venmo. That was very tacky and just turned me off in addition to the lashes falling off so quickly. Now I'm not sure if I'll be back. I think I might've gave their eyelash service a five star review way too quickly. read more

Hello everyone, so I decided to try a new spot to get my hair colored again. I had a faded red and my roots were showing. I did the question thing here on yelp to see my options and who had availability for Saturday morning. I got a quick answer from this place, great deal, and a good time for appointment. They text you the info and a day before to confirm your appointment. Maggie was the one who did my hair, she was amazing. I loved how she asked what I wanted and explained what was going to be done, she really knows her stuff. My hair was dry and dead, but after she was done I loved how soft and healthy it looks. She really does take care of you plus she is super friendly. Not just Maggie but everyone there was really nice. My daughter had a facial and she was delighted. Akane did a great job for her procedure (deep cleansing facial with extraction). She also gave her a free eye mask to bring home. I went in to get a haircut -- for the first time in a really long time -- and my hairstylist Don was so kind and attentive towards me throughout my time there. I made a facial appointment here the morning we were visiting Little Tokyo. Akane was very kind and accommodating. I mentioned to her that I have some skin sensitivity, and that I do not want leaving the appointment feeling lots of products on my face. So she used lighter moisturizer at the end for me. What used to be good now it's not anymore. Came here for a treatment to soften my curls a bit, mentioned this to the girl (who didn't speak any English) and now my hair is extremely straight. I asked her also to ONLY cut the ends and she cut shorter the hair in the back that I was letting grow, now the effect is ruined and I look like Christopher Colombus. The prices are doubled from the other location where the academy was but the benefits are none and unfortunately no one to assist with translation to the people working here. I'm sad because I could do this myself and save 260 bucks and a heartbreak. read more

I have been getting hair cut with Masa for almost two years now. I don't usually leave reviews but I think Masa has definitely earned it! I have been to more expensive and hyped up salons but hands down this is the best hair cut I have ever had. Fyi I asked for a boy short hair and my hair is pretty soft and fine, but Masa managed to cut it in a way that gives me plenty of volume, stylish yet (and this is the best part) super easy to take care of. I don't need to blow out or put any products in the morning to look good. I now also go there to get my lashes done after haircut with Akane, she has a delicate touch which would give you beautiful lashes without overdoing the glue. So the process is really relaxing, within the burning an stinging I experienced in other places, that I often fall asleep. Thanks you KC for making me feel my best. read more

I had the pleasure of having my hair colored and styled by the supremely talented, yet extremely modest Mr. Taka. The experience was sublime. The detail in the coloring - the shampoo-the blow out. It took me back to my experiences at high end Tokyo salons. Next time, I plan on checking out their facial offerings too. It's without a doubt that KC Salon Pro is my new "it" salon. If I'm driving all the way from the Bu to this place, you can assume it's a pretty special place, right? This review is for Akane, aka best lash technician I've ever had. I have had eyelash extensions from many different people over the years but I have to say she is the best! My lashes looked great even 3 weeks after getting them done. She has been doing mine since June and I decided to take a break from them because allergy season. When she removed them I was stunned that my natural lashes were still just as full and long as they were before having lashes on! This was the most disappointing haircut ever and not worth $60. I had cheaper and better haircuts elsewhere... I asked for SHOULDER length hair and he cut it above the shoulders. Perhaps he misheard me as saying "shorter." It is obvious English is not his first or dominant language, so the communication was awkward. Masa was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly - he made sure to answer any questions and was considerate of my time, but also careful to not miss a detail.
