Ice cream was pretty good. Real bits of stuff inside their ice cream. Like the mango sorbet had mango bits. I didn't really care for the service. First he said there's no surcharge on credit cards and there was (3%). Second he pushed for a tip. I used to scoop at BR and never pushed for a tip. Price point was meh. I said double like 3 times and he kept saying "two singles" back to me. Ugh.

If you are ever in Houston look for this ice cream truck. The ice cream is very good and was worth the money. The gentleman is very kind. Be ready to tip him because he will wait until you do before he scoops your ice cream

Ice cream was smooth and delicious. I had a cookies and cream and dulce de leche double in a cup. Unfortunately he butterscotch sauce was out. Had really quick service for all 5 of us ordering on a busy day at Levy Park in Houston.

Is this place allergy friendly? I have one kid with multiple food allergies (wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, eggs, avocado, pineapple, kiwi).

Good day. We offer dairy-free mango and raspberry sorbet. They do not contain any allergens, as you mentioned previously.

They are open until 11pm weekdays and on the weekends close at midnight. Your cone can be made to a flower shape. This became very popular and since then has remained busy. The line usually goes fast, if you see a line don't worry it won't take long. Worth the wait & price. Greta variety in flavors and cute indoor but small. The best thing to do is the grab and go walk around.

You can't go wrong with any of their flavors, but my favorites are pistachio and the Amorino chocolate. I tried their hot dark chocolate too, and it was the thickest hot chocolate I have ever had, and it was definitely dark. I would probably go for a milk hot chocolate if you want something sweeter but equally While the quality, service, and flavors from both locations are consistent, the River Oaks/Highland location has a nicer vibe to it, and appeared more well-kept, although it has very limited seating. The Galleria location is located in the middle of the mall, has more dining space, but the seating area was not as clean as the River Oaks location when I visited.

The chain is headed by a three Michelin star chef Jordi Roca who is believed by some to be one of the best pastry chefs in the world. While this is not necessarily pastry, I wanted to see what he would do with desserts. When you first step in, there is definitely a childlike whimsy to the decor of the place. They have plenty of seats inside as well as outside. I was hoping to see unique flavors, but I did like the few flavors they did sample. Beyond the soft serve gelato, they do have coffee and few prepackaged sweets to buy. When you order, you do get the soft serve gelato with unlimited toppings, which I wish I knew that so I could better select the combination. I did get mango passionfruit (4,5/5) which was super smooth and creamy with the right amount of tartness from the passionfruit and sweetness from mango. The fruits and nuts I got to add were a nice combination. My favorite was the nutella drizzle on top... smooth with little crunchy pieces. My only complaint was the price... While I did enjoy it, I am not sure it was worth the cost... The service was pretty friendly. Located in the Uptown Park plaza, there was parking readily available when I went on a weekday, but could vary depending on how the plaza gets. Overall, Rocambolesc offers great soft serve gelato with unlimited toppings but may be reserved for a special occassion.

I am a tough critic since I am from San Diego, home of the #1 Ice Cream shop in the Nation two years in a row. I walked in and the interior was very clean and clutter free behind the counter. The flavors were very plain w basic flavors. Nothing too exciting. I had a double of Pistachio and Coconut. The first thing I noticed was how small the scoops were!!! Tiny cup with tiny scoops. I did like the flavor of pistachio and it was packed with nuts. The coconut had very little flavor. It was so slight could barely taste the coconut. Disappointing. What I did notice was the soft creamy "stretchy" texture. This was truly unique but the flavors lacked. I am not sure if I would return myself, but for anyone who hasnt tried Booza, I do suggest you try it. Experience the texture and "stretchy" ice cream. The biggest issue is the price point! High price for the portion received!

The ice cream is definitely a bit different from what I'm used to as it is Mediterranean style. It's very stretchy and it melts in your mouth but I don't think I'm used to the texture. It also didn't give me the "wow, this is super good" type of reaction. As for the flavor, the Hazelnut Chocolate was flavorful, delicious, and strong but the Pistachio was the opposite. The ice cream itself was very mild and I think adding pistachio was actually the only thing that made it "pistachio". Other than that, the staffs were nice and I think it was still worth a try. They also have clean tables and a lot of parking spaces.

According to a sign in the store, the gelato is made in house, which is cool. There were lots of unique flavors and I should have taken a picture of the case, but alas I did not. They offered samples and Mark sampled the Lemon Pie (or a similar name) and loved it. He ordered two scoops - one lemon and one coffee. I tried both and WOW, the lemon was fantastic! I ordered one scoop of Tiramisu, which included alcohol. I almost passed on it because we don't drink, but I figured it couldn't be any stronger than 'near beer'. I'm glad I got the Tiramisu. It was delicious. I would never suspect there was alcohol in it. Because we would be heading home after, we decided to have a seat and eat it in the shop, which is very clean and cute. There are three two-seat tables in the shop (it's small), so be aware. There are a few tables out front. There's nothing not to like here. I want to try every flavor! It was absolutely delicious!
